New Additions

I’ve added two new links on my site– links to The Hunger Site and The Animal Rescue Site. All you have to do is click on these sites ONCE a day to help others. It only takes about two seconds! Why not do it now? The links are on the right-hand side of my blog, just under my profile. Please help!!! And tell all your friends to click, too!

Love,
ChocolateCoveredKatie

P.S. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. (If you shop at these sites, you’ll be helping even more, and you can buy some cute stuff!)

What a wonderful addition to your blog! Good for your for your important volunteer work – I know the puppies must be very grateful for the attention! It must be hard not to take them home… 🙂

Cool! I did it! And that’s so easy. I always feel bad because I can’t afford to give to animal charities that I really care about. But this way, I can still help.

How would I go about adding the cute link boxes to my blog?

  3. Ashasarala says

How awesome! I always say that if I could afford to never work, I would volunteer tons of time at animal shelter and vets.

I’m gonna go click right now!

Great addition, CCV, and good for you volunteering 3 days a week! Shelters need volunteers even if you can only give a couple hours per month. Anything is a help!

  5. Jennifer says

What an awesome thing to do! I used to volunteer at an animal shelter too before I graduated. I’m going to take your lead and add this button to my blog as well.

  6. Amy says

Good for you! I used to work right near a shelter and would always stop to visit the animals there. It was so hard not to file an adoption application each time I visited!

  7. Ruby Red Vegan says

I’ve gotta say, it’s so awesome that you volunteer! I’ve got the two links bookmarked now, so I can keep clicking!

I’m probably being really dense, but how did you put the link with the picture on your blog? I was looking around and couldn’t seem to figure it out.

    🙁

i have had these links on my blog for a while as well… and every morning i go and click on them… and i have purchased a few things for my dog from their online shop and once you do that, depending on what you spend, it will say, you have purchased enough items on this site to help give 25 bowls of dog food for animals in need… it makes me feel good… you’re a good soul for passing this information on!

The Animal Rescue site is my homepage at work so I can click a bajillion times a day 🙂 So neat that you volunteer there!!
