Funny (and sometimes scary) searches that lead people to my blog

by Chocolate-Covered Katie on February 26, 2008

The good, the bad, and the downright weird (My comments are in parenthesis and italics)

Things that should NEVER go together:

1. chocolate covered broccoli (a sure-fire way to ruin two great foods)
2. chocolate covered carrots
3. chocolate covered dog bone (sounds like a bad idea to me)
4. chocolate covered mushrooms (someone really wants to eat that?!)
5. chocolate covered pepper
6. chocolate covered eggplant (getting grosser)
7. chocolate covered tofu
8. chocolate covered jalapeños
9. chocolate covered onions (hands-down, the grossest)
10. chocolate covered cheese (no wait, THIS is worse)

The rest of the weird:

1. stud muffins
2. hot handsome men
3. hot handsome men in the kitchen
4. hot handsome men covered in chocolate
5. naked hot handsome men covered in chocolate (sense a trend?)
6. naked cheese blog (my site must’ve been a big disappointment to this person!)

Other:

1. chocolate nursery rhyme
2. gorgeous vegan girl (awww)
3. gorgeous vegan cupcakes (more awwww)
4. vegan college girl very skinny (yup, that’s me)
5. skinny vegan (me, again)
6. skinny chocolate vegan katie
7. vegan chocolate coconut pudding (ooh, give me some of that!)
8. chocolate covered pancakes (yes, please)
9. wind blowing away a bike (it happened to me!)
10. is cookie monster a vegan (this cookie monster certainly is)
11. my puppy hates lying on his back (can’t help you… that’s my dog’s favorite position!)
12. want a vegan boyfriend (don’t we all)

There were many more, but these were my favorites.

LOL! Now, I remember your post about the stud muffins, but I must have missed the one about hot naked men covered in chocolate. Can you link to that one for me? :P

Hah. All of mine seem to be about cookies for some reason. Even more than all the chocolate-raspberry searches I put on my blog earlier this week…

Looks like you’ve got the market cornered on ‘chocolate covered’ everything.

Chocolate-covered onions reminds me of garlic ice cream–possibly an even worse idea!

How fun! But it’s just not true that ANYthing tastes better covered in chocolate!

Love it!! Made me smile :-)

The chocolate covered dog bone person obviously wants to kill all the puppies! And the chocolate-eggplant combination isn’t all that weird, actually–I bake PB and Chocolate cookies with eggplant puree in them! (Oh, and good luck on the vegan boyfriend!). :)

That was hilarious! I always love to read those. Stupidly, I (apparently) keep getting visits from people who want to know what to feed their rabbits. Should’ve thought of that when I chose my domain name – oh well. People also come to me looking for recipes on how to eat the rabbits themselves… they won’t find any good ideas for that!
Sometimes I wish I could talk to whoever wrote those search engine terms, because some are just so weird!

Ha ha oh my god… chocolate covered cheese is definitely gross!
I can’t remember what I typed in, but I was looking for something vegan on google and your userpic showed up and I was like “Heyyy, I know her!” =p

OMG, these are tooo funny… I’m still giggling… :-)

Naked cheese blog?! What on earth were they looking for?! Maybe we don’t want to know…

Chocolate covered dog bone? I can’t decide what’s worse: If they were intending this for a dog, that’s no good, because chocolate is bad for dogs, but if they were intending it for human consumption… very, very weird.

Thank you for the wonderful, wonderful laugh! :-)

There must be a dog out there having one helluva life being served chocolate covered bones on a silver platter.

Oh, your s’mores muffin looks incredibly delicious! I haven´t found vegan marshmellows here yet, though (I think a Dutch webshop sells them, but they were sold out last time I checked). And umm, marshmellow fluff… I had never heard of that before I read your recipe, haha!
But I could make them unfrosted, of course. Thanks, I’ll bookmarkt the post! :-)

LOL There are some good ones there.

Lately I’ve gotten:

fancy schmancy dessert
and
best ever peanut butter filled chocolate

Pretty tame, considering the name of my blog.

HA HA HA! Umm, I am going to have to concur with the Googler who requested “naked hot handsome men covered in chocolate”. If you could please incorporate that into your blog, that would be super. Bwah ha ha!

you know what? Chocolate covered raw broccoli is surprisingly super delicious! It’s kind of like chocolate covered nuts because you can’t really taste the “broccoliness” as much as you get the crunchy, nutty texture. Don’t ask how I figured that out, but as the Chocolate Covered Vegan, you REALLY should try it. You’ll love it!

Haha, this is so funny!

And I hope no one feeds their dog a chocolate covered bone, because chocolate is supposed to make doggies sick! :(

I like “Is cookie monster a vegan?” Who would ever wonder such a thing?!

Vegans at Bryn Mawr are so lucky! At the college I went to freshman year, I thought it was pretty cool when they served vegan sloppy Joes. At my new college, when I ask if something’s vegan, cafeteria workers just give me a blank stare. Just today, I told someone I was vegan and she said, “But you eat chicken, right?” AHHH! Gross!

LOL Patrick, whe are we going to go bike-riding?

And now we MUST get to Spiral Diner too! I just got the email today saying that they’ve opened– yay!

Reply

Patrick February 28, 2008 at 11:27 pm

We can ride to spiral!

All you can eat pancakes on Sunday!

I’m not working in the office anymore so I have more time available

PS: When I ran a travel site, the most hits I got were for people looking for information about the show Pimp My Ride(and now you will too since I posted this). It was a ton of people contacting me thinking I had something to do with MTV. Very interesting people.
