A few weeks ago, my mom hosted an end-of-the-year party for all of her teacher friends. Guess who was asked to make the dessert… You get three guesses, and the first two don’t count!
That’s right, it was me ;o). And guess what dessert I made… (Once again, the first two guesses don’t count!)

It was a grown-up party, so I didn’t get to create cutesy fondant critters this time. But I still had fun decorating. (The flowers aren’t edible; I’d planned to make fondant flowers, but ran out of time.)

The cupcake recipe is for Golden Vanilla Cupcakes, from the cookbook Vegan Cupcakes take over the World.

They look incredible as usual! I need to get a plane and fly there so that you teach me how to make cupcakes…And we’ll eat all of them!
Katie, you must open a bakery or cake shop!!

Those cupcakes look totally rad! Something more out of a fairy tale than an oven. Well-done!
tehee!! we are so similar in the way we eat cakes – whenever someone serves me a piece of cake, I will just dig out the cake bit and leave the frosting behind … it’s just way too buttery for me – i guess that’s why I dislike butter in sandwiches ;0)
Gorgeous cupcakes!! If you open a vegan bakery, it would be the next Magnolia for sure!

These are so elegant! Were you born to make cupcakes or something? (Just kidding, I know you are useful in many other ways!) I love the peachy color. This makes me want cupcakes really badly, too.
Ratatouille is the best!
What beautiful cupcakes!! I’ll bet everyone enjoyed and appreciated them. I love to make things that make non-vegans realize that we don’t just eat carrot sticks lol
