I’m having so much fun reading the guesses! And I’m getting mucho oatmeal inspiration!! It seems the real winner of this contest is ME!
Since no one’s guessed correctly yet, I’m re-opening the guessing to everyone who’s already guessed—if you want, you can have another shot at it!
I’ll post the answer tomorrow. To recap: The first person to correctly guess what oatmeal flavor I’ll feature in my next oatmeal post will win two of these:

Here are a few clues:
- It’s a sweet oatmeal, not savory
- It has absolutely nothing to do with peanut butter
- Chocolate IS involved
- It’s not something obscure, like red bean oatmeal (although that might be good), and it’s not a combination like raspberry-banana-chocolate.
If no one gets it, I’ll pick a random commenter to win the Mighty Maple and Dark Chocolate peanut butters.

Hot cocoa oats, with maybe chocolate/carob chips on top…or cinnamon and chili pepper like Mexican hot chocolate (the oats would be cooked in hot cocoa!).

oh my gosh i’m dying! I thought you were on a cookie stint so I along with others thought it would be girl scout inspired treat, hmmm,,,this probably isn’t it but it would be killer-my mom used to make a chocolate chip rum cake that was redonk-u-lous! I’m thinking about trying to make it with my oatmeal but i don’t have a blog to brag about my handi-work!! I’m passing the baton to you Katie! (What if I just get a jar of mighty maple for the original recipe? ) It’s SO worth it!

My first two guesses have already been taken…chocolate mint or Mexican hot chocolate…so how about red velvet cake oats? Has that been suggested already? It just came to me – devil’s food cake flavored oats with cream cheeze icing on top. Yum, doesn’t that sound good?!?
Mayan Cocoa Oatmeal…with cocoa powder, cinnamon, chili powder, cayenne, brown sugar kinda thing. If you don’t make it, I think I’m going to have to!!

Ummm, well we are fast approaching Easter so maybe it’s like a hot cross bun in oatmeal form but one of those buns (well, oatmeal but you know what I mean) with chocolate chips in it as well as all the goodness of fruit.
