I still have one more oatmeal post to write, but honestly I’m a little burned out by oatmeal right now (burned out writing about it, NOT eating it, of course!! Never eating it!!). Y’all are probably getting sick of my oatmeal posts by now, too! So I’ll save the last one for a later date.
There’s just so much more I want to share, especially since quite a few companies have been EXTREMELY generous lately by contacting me with delicious free samples.
Be on the lookout for many, many yummy product reviews in the near future (as well as details on my next giveaway).
But back to oatmeal for a minute. Here’s a recap of all the oatmeal recipes I’ve posted so far:
The Chocoholic Series
4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Oatmeal

Creamy and Comforting
1. Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal Fusion
4. Peaches-n-Cream Oatmeal Dream
Baked-Good Oats

And then there are the cooking methods:
Oatmeal Techniques/Tricks
3. Rice-Pudding Oatmeal Cooking Method
Ok, I think that’s more than enough about oatmeal for quite a while. My next post will be a product review of:
One of the Most Amazing things I have ever put into my Mouth.
Any guesses as to what it is?
.

Love all of your concoctions!
My guess…..well, if it was me it would be a Kevaccino from Keva Juice (http://www.kevajuice.com/). However, it’s not vegan, so I don’t know! lol
Oh wow, totally loving this delicious post!!!
THANK YOU for all those great oatmeal ideas!!! I’m in awe!
NEVER tired of oatmeal–never!!
Ha, I’m not sick of your “mock sweets” whole grain low sugar oats! Keep em coming, if you wish!
can’t waait to hear ab out the product reviews!
Yum, those ideas make me hungry! Argggg I don’t like these guessing games! My guess is some sort of amazing vegan chocolate.
I suppose this is fitting, but Mark Bittman just posted a recipe for oven-made oatmeal today, using steel-cut oats instead of rolled oats:
http://bitten.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/03/20/oven-oatmeal/
Being that it’s baked anyway, you might be able to come up with creations that are a lot closer to their originals than would be possible with stovetop-cooked oatmeal (not that they’re bad; they’re just different cooking methods).
My guess is kombucha…?
I know I know … it’s RAW VEGAN COCOA BLISS spread!!!
I don’t think I will ever tire of oatmeal! Love all your fun flavors!
I love oats. oats oats oats.
great recap
they’re so darn versatile! what’s not to love? It’s like a blank canvas waiting to be made into something deliciously amazing!
laughing giraffe treats? utterly delicious
I’d say dark chocolate dreams pb but I think you already did a post on that one! And now I remember what I forgot! D’oh!
I am going to guess that one of the most amazing things you have ever put into your mouth has something to do with chocolate!
OK, there might have been a breakthrough in the oatmeal department. I blended the DRY oats this time until it became a super fine oat flour and then I cooked it. It didn’t make me want to vomit, which is a big improvement! It’s all thanks to you! You should be on an Oatmeal Council or something.
You’re so lucky with all your free samples to review! I’ve had to pass on a few opportunties because we won’t be home to receive the goodies in the mail! BOO!
I won’t be sick of your oatmeal posts! never!!
Love all the oatmeal combos!
I agree with the above comment!! Never will I get sick of oatmeal posts either.
I have no idea what your review will be…. but I’m hoping it’s some sort of delicious chocolatey treat or some new type of nut butter!
I am curious, what are the foodbuzz ads on your blog, do they sponser it? Is that how you are getting these yummy free samples to give away? Sorry for all the questions!!
I need to go to oatmeal rehab. Need a serious carb detox.
I am going to guess that you tried Amazing Meal protein powders. Just a guess!
Mmmm, oats. I’ll take one of each. Or at least some S’mores oatmeal.
And girl, I have no clue what you tried. I’m no good at guessing games that have nothing to narrow them down. I’ll just have to wait in suspense until then!
I’m now convinced–Oatmeal rocks! Thanks, CCV(K)
Thank you so much for linking all of those. That must have taken a lot of time.
I have no idea what it is but I’m excited to find out! Yay!
I will never, ever, ever get sick of oatmeals. If I hd my way, I’d eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, AND snacks.
product review…would that be lara bars?
I never get tired of your great oatmeal ideas!!
I’m curious about the review. I can’t even hazard a guess!
I am guessing Sweet-n-Sara S’mores?
So what is this oatmeal of which you speak? Its just porridge right? It doesn’t look much like my porridge though. Hmm! I feel inspired to try some of these exciting-looking creations, but I’m guessing my normal rolled oats aren’t going to cut the biscuit, so to speak. Could throw ‘em in a coffee grinder? Rolled oat powder??!
Katie,
Just so you know, I NEVER get sick of your oatmeal posts. Looking forward to some product reviews. The best thing you ever put in your mouth? Whatever it was, I hope it was covered in chocolate.
