Hop on Pop(sicle)

A few Easters ago, while we were living in China, we came across bunny popsicle molds.  Of course we had to buy them.

This year, I rediscovered the popsicle molds hiding in one of our boxes of Easter decorations. It’s been non-stop popsicle making ever since!

There are so many choices!
Juice pops
Homemade yogurt pops
Pumpkin Pie pops
Chocolate Mousse pops
Chocolate Pudding pops

Below, an Apple-sicle (apple juice pop)

And an Acai-sicle(acai juice).

I’m having entirely too much fun with this.

Aw man, this reminds me of this phase I went through in high school. I became obsessed with my popsicle maker and would freeze just about anything. I made some pretty killer choco-nana pudding pops!

Oh man, I remember making popsicles all the time when I was a kid. I loved busting out that popsicle mold and making all sorts of juicy flavoured pops. Alas, I don’t think my mom has it anymore 🙁 I should buy a new one. HA!

I think we actually tried making margarita-sicles once, but the tequila kept them from freezing (I think my dad might have been a bit heavy-handed with it). Oh well, the slush was good.

I loved the ones we made last year with strawberry puree and coconut milk.

    Love your nails xD!
They compliment your colorful variety-filled meals (hahha that sounded weird but true!)
My ideal popsicle would have to be a custardy creme brulee with frozen raspberries in it *pardon my drooling

I love homemade pops!! What in the world is the song at the beginning of this post? I’ve never heard it before?

I can’t believe you didn’t feature a photo of a Chocolate Mousse pop!! That sounds amazingly delicious!!!
    Your nails = awesome

Those popsicles are taking me back to the old days…my mom used to make em all the time when I was a kid! I think I’d like a strawberry coconut version 🙂

I mix almond or coconut milk into my homemade pops to make them creamier. The almond milk (or even sesame milk) also adds protein and calcium which is a total bonus.

I love the coconut milk pop idea! I can’t wait to start making fun seasonal foods like popsicles and homemade ice cream. Our temps will FINALLY hit the 80s by this weekend and I CANNOT WAIT!

Mmm, those acai-sicles look totally yummy! What cute pops–and such potential. It’s about 90 degrees in my apartment right now; I could totally go for one of those pops!

Oooh, that reminds me of searching our popsicle-molds!
I’d like to try a Pina Colada-popsycle (minus the alcohol) because I like coconut-flavoured stuff!

What a hoppy little friend! Thanks for the punkin’ recipe. I always have cans of pumpkin lurking in my cabinets that need using.
