Very Quick Post
I had good intentions to post earlier today, I really did! But life got in the way of blogging; what can ya do? My friends and I went out for a great rainy-day activity that I haven’t done in soooo long: bowling! I didn’t win, but did come in second a few times (stupid ex-boyfriend who always scored over 200!). At least I can say that I’m more talented in the sport than a certain world leader
.
.
The rain’s not putting a damper on my mood. I also got in a nice drizzly run this morning. Does anyone else like running/exercising/being outdoors in the rain? As long as it’s not cold, and definitely as long as it’s not lightning (no masochistic tendencies here), I think drizzly runs can be quite exciting! They take me back to when I was little and liked to run through the sprinklers. Oh okay, fine. I’ll admit it; I stillenjoy running through the sprinklers
. What’s everyone else’s favorite rainy-day activity? Scrapbooking (some examples in this post) is one of mine.
Because I haven’t been online all day, I’ve also not read any other blogs (Google Reader is feelin’ neglected) nor responded to any emails. But I did receive some great ones, especially emails about new foods y’all have tried!! You’re giving me so many great ideas… it’ll be hard to decide what to try for the next week of the New Foods’ Challenge!
Thanks for all your comments; I loved reading them. And my next post–the post I promised–will be much more interesting than this one.
Off to bed…

I don’t mind running in the rain too much, as long as it’s not freezing!
i love running in the rain! it cools off my sweat haha.. i actually don’t mind rainy days – i spent the summer abroad in ireland and it reminds me of the good time i had there lol.. can’t wait to find out some juicy details soon
Yucks, it was cold and rainy today in my town too! Too much rain for me, I stayed in instead of going on the 4 miler I had planned. It was a new route, too, I was really looking forward to it.
So…by the way…
Where’s the, uh, photo of WF boy? Hmmmm?!
I’m lucky if I score over 100 in bowling. Not to mention, I cannot bowl one handed to save my life. I actually player with the fun league team at one of our port offices, and they won against the team we were playing, because my handicap was so bad! HA!
Favourite rainy day thing? Curling up under a blanket with the cat and a good book. Or baking
I ran in the rain today too! It was just slightly misting, so it was kinda nice–not too hot, for a change!
I love running in the drizzle, too!! (And the sprinklers.) Sorry my commenting has been absent for a while. It’s law school exam time, so I’ve been neglecting my google reader. Hopefully, I won’t have to be away for too long again! Glad to hear you had such a great night.
It was sprinkling today, which almost deterred me from getting out in it, but I wound up cycling almost 7 miles in the drizzly rain! It was actually kind of refreshing!
I haven’t done that in years (ok now I sound old)! I think next time it drizzles I’ll go for a bike ride in the rain. I find it so much fun =)
glad you had fun bowling! I like running in light rain, too. It just makes me feel free!
I don’t mind the rain as long as it’s not cold!!
Katie,
Can’t wait to meet ur boy!
Happy Tuesday love.
With Love,
Emily
I like running in the rain too! It’s great because you don’t notice the sweat, and for some reason I always feel more energized
