When I received an email from the Vivapura Company (vivapura.net), saying that they wanted to send me free chocolate, of course I was excited.

Hi, I am new to your blog and just wanted to say hello. I am just a reader (for now?) I found you on Averie’s blog. So I was reading yesturdays post late last night and I just couldn’t stop thinking about you all day. And I just had to say something. I felt so sorry for you. I am really shocked that people take the time to even leave such crap. And just to let the stupid people know. I am not a vegan I am a paloe follower (sorry) poeple are so stupid! I eat meat every day and a lot of it and I only have 8% body fat. It has nothing to do with weather or not you eat meat or not. If your body is working right and you have found the types of food for your body you will be SKINNY may be even super thin! I get so angry at people for judging others by the way they look or what they eat or wear. It takes alot of dedication to follow a heathy eating plan. I give you credit for make a decission and sticking with it. Its not easy. Even as a paleo eater I have to deal with stupid comments so I know what it is like. My husband and I have even lost friends because of our diet life style change. I just find that crazy.
Anyway I wanted to say hello and let you know (and I see by all the comments you have recieved that you probably already know now) but it seems to me that alot of people have enjoyed your blog. I hope to have the time to continue reading your journey.

hello, i just wanted to write even though this isn’t the current posting.. i just can’t go to bed because i am reading your blog and all the comments… i wanted to say this: i am a vegan. and i am over 100 lbs overweight! imagine the remarks/comments/looks/thoughts i get! people can be sweet and they can be jerks… but the words they use are a direct reflection of their hearts, and if someone has such a heart that they do not care about the heart of others, then we just gotta let it ‘roll off our backs’ right? because we know better- my hubby always says that they do not even deserve any thought or time or our energy- they have to look in the mirror every day (and by that i mean not the physical they see, but the reflection of their soul). we are responsible for what we say, and what we do, and how we take care of our bodies. i am losing wt. slowly, but i am so much more healthier than my thinner meat eating friends- and more compassionate toward the living world by my choices… so, that’s my two cents, even though no one asked!! be happy you are loved by loving people; the rest- well, feel pity if anything. and let it go. hugs to you. christine
