I don’t have a long post scheduled for today, but I just wanted to thank you all so much for supporting Operation Chocolate-Covered Kindness this past month.
There are still three days left in November, so please keep up the support!!
Click around, link back, whatever… At the end of the month, I want to be able to turn over as much money as possible to The Enough Project.
This Thanksgiving, I thought about how much I have to be thankful for. But there are so many people who will never get to experience the lifestyle we often take for granted. I’ll spare y’all the long speech, because I try to keep the blog cheery… and the subject of genocide is definitely not cheery. But turning a blind eye does NOT make things magically disappear, no matter how much we wish that were the case.

Question of the Day:
When do you start putting up your Christmas decorations? Out running yesterday morning, I saw quite a few houses already decked out in Christmas style. But then there’s this one house that still had Halloween decorations up!
.

i have been clicker happy =) My family put up some Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving (crazy, eh?), but we are waiting to put up our tree because our new puppy chews on everything! hah
p.s. I can’t wait for all your posts =)
I think if we had Christmas stuff I would put it up the day after Thanksgiving… but all we have is a candle with a little wreath around it so there was really nothing to put out. Maybe next year though
My decorations are up! I started about 2 weeks, just because the next few weekend are super busy!
Keep up with the clicking!
we have some decorations up outside our house. We just need some lights. It is all very tasteful though…not overdone like some. I also took it upon myself to decorate inside. I put some garland up the railings…some sparkly snowflake ortaments all around…A gingerbread man in the kitchen…and a nutcracker man in the family room
can’t wait to read upcoming posts! <3
Were starting to put out our christmas decorations today – i cant wait! Ive been clicking on your blog like crazy
We always put ours up before Thanksgiving – this year it was the day before. He likes the house to look festive for Thanksgiving.
I’ll probably start decorating this weekend. I absolutely love the Christmas season. I’m one of those annoying people that goes around singing X-Mas songs starting in October, lol.
Me and my boy plan on decorating our apartment this year, pretty soon. So we can have a bit of a christmas spirit here as well, not only few days when we arrive to our houses.

Just clicking through to say I love you!!!!
We’ll probably start to put up decoration the first full week of december.
Stopping by to get my daily fix of chocolate covered goodness! My family is getting our tree today, but I’m not sure if we are decorating the outside yet. Have a great day!
we started looking at christmas trees last night… hard to believe it is that time of year again. though one of my favorite times!!!
true story: we still have christmas decorations up from last year. We are PB&Crazy up in hurr!
I just started putting up all my Christmas decorations! Even my christmas tree is up. The cats love it. They’ve already made a little cat nest in the middle of the tree=)
We don’t actually put up decorations because my family (well, immediate family, as in parents) are atheists and as a result we don’t celebrate Christmas. It would be a bit hypocritical to
I haven’t seen any around where I run…I like the idea of all of these perfect, cheery little xmas houses and then one black, gothic construction with trailing ivy and a tonne of halloween decorations still up. Tis a very Tim Burton-esque image, like the contrast between the ‘real’ world and the house Edward Scissorhands is found in.
I am eagerly anticipating all of your posts, especially the one about running in the cold. It’s getting towards sub-zero in the North East of England right now :/
Glad you had such a great Thanksgiving

OOH Im stoked for the magic soup recipe (and, of course, your Thanksgiving photos!!).
As for decorating.. ehh, I actually dont. My husband and I travel back up north the week before Christmas and are there until the day before New Year’s eve. My parents make up for my lack of festiveness. lol
I do, however, decorate my classroom and plan to do so on Monday!
If thanksgiving has come, so has the time for xmas decorations!! I cheated this year and put them up wednesday since we weren’t having anything at our place. I also didn’t want to study, it’s a handy excuse

You’re so generous to host this operation!
I can’t wait for the coconut butter giveaway and the Wild Bars giveaway!
Coconut crack recipe…I wonder what this could be! Sounds addicting, maybe put a warning sign or something?

We actually put our lights outside last weekend because it was warm out, but we have no real decorations inside yet. I’m thinking next weekend will be the time
The tree went up T-Day!
Enjoy!
P.S. can’t wait for some of your upcoming post!
Banana Hammocks? I’m intrigued.
Christmas decorations started going up yesterday. Hoping to get our tree tonight or tomorrow. Love Christmas!!!!
I saw some houses fully decorated as early as 01 November! I like all the pretty Christmas lights along the trails – makes my morning run so happy. Our Christmas tree went up this morning and our lights went up in early October when the weather was warmer. (We haven’t turned on our lights yet – not until 01 December.)
Looks like you have a great list of upcoming posts – I cannot wait! Running in the cold will be an interesting one. I quite enjoy my morning runs in the mild winter (-10C/14F) so far.
Love those cards!
We usually put our Christmas decorations up the day after thanksgiving, but this year we are doing it the first weekend of december because we were out of town and we are keeping the decorations up longer!!

My mom, sister and I broke out the ornaments and light already. This morning, we left the house determined to get a Charlie Brown tree and spend less than $30. We arrived at our local farm and discovered most trees tagged $50+. Luckily, my sister stumbled across the now aptly nicknamed ‘giant scruffy tree’ for the bargain price of twenty bucks. We’re assuming the price was indicative of its desirability. This thing is what the tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas would’ve been if it had grown up. Into an scruffy 7 foot monster – currently living in our kitchen : )
That “see the wonder” card is adorable! Christmas decorations are up for almost all the businesses and little congregating areas. It’s beautiful.
In our apartment complex we don’t really put lights up outside but we did put up our tree and some decorations inside on Black Friday. I think that will be our annual tradition. Stay in and don’t go out with the crazy shoppers!!!
