I think that will be our annual tradition. This morning, we left the house determined to get a Charlie Brown tree and spend less than $30. We arrived at our local farm and discovered most trees tagged $50+. Luckily, my sister stumbled across the now aptly nicknamed 'giant scruffy tree' for the bargain price of twenty bucks. We're assuming the price was indicative of its desirability. This thing is what the tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas would've been if it had grown up. Into an scruffy 7 foot monster - currently living in our kitchen : ) My mom, sister and I broke out the ornaments and light already. I like all the pretty Christmas lights along the trails - makes my morning run so happy. Our Christmas tree went up this morning and our lights went up in early October when the weather was warmer. (We haven't turned on our lights yet - not until 01 December.) Looks like you have a great list of upcoming posts - I cannot wait! Running in the cold will be an interesting one. I quite enjoy my morning runs in the mild winter (-10C/14F) so far. I saw some houses fully decorated as early as 01 November!
