Harry Potter, Coconut Crème Pie, Life on the Farm…

by Chocolate-Covered Katie on December 12, 2009

Let’s see what other random things we can throw into this post.

.

Remember the Too Much Food post?

So going along with that, I’m taking a break from the food today.  It’ll be back tomorrow.  Today you’re stuck with more scrapbook pages.

.

Starting with…

Harry Potter, because apparently there are a lot of other fans out there

My friend and I made shirts to go see the fifth movie.  (I swear we’re not nerds!  Ok, so maybe we are.)

.

Next page:

A summer trip to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary

(Sorry for the annoying flash marks.)

.

Aaaand:

Below, at Quintessence, a raw restaurant in NYC

(and the cake that’s been making quite a few appearances on my blog… I keep posting it in the hopes that someone’ll be inspired to tackle recreating it and then will share the recipe with me ;) .)

.

.

Reminders:

1. Check back later tonight for the winners of the Artisana Nut Butter Giveaway

.

2. This coupon code is still good ‘til the end of the month, so order now :) :)

Haha, nice shirt Katie. :]
Last weekend I actually made Harry Potter Puppet Pals for a presentation I was doing in my psychology of personal adjustment class. My partner and I decided to make our presentation Harry Potter themed. =P
I spent the rest of the day waving with them and “bother”ing people on campus. Too much fun? Perhaps.

Oh, and that cake does look good. :x
Maybe the recreating of it is somewhere in the near future… (we can dream)

I love your scrapbook posts! If I were creative I would love to make some.. but I lack in that department. :P Although.. seeing all your pretty pages is getting me inspired to at least attempt.

When I really looked at how much I love Harry Potter, I had to come to the terms that I am a nerd too. It’s ok.

When I was little, I always loved the idea of scrapbooking. I bought scrapbook kits and everything, but I never actually made a scrapbook. :/ Yours are cute enough to make up for the ones I never made, though! ;) Can I say how much I love the last one?!

Oh, and no worries about the wrong comment—I for one am intrinsically scatterbrained. :P

Ok, apparently, I’ve missed your mild obsession with HP?! I just began my love affair this summer (I. Had. Never. Read. The. Books.) Tragedy. But they changed my lifeee after I was done. Amazed.

But on a side note, I love your scrapbook pages! I’m a fellow scrapbooker, so I completely know what it feels like. (non-scrapbookers have no idea the pain/frustration/joy in completing a page, or twoo.) hehe :)

I love the scrapbook page! If you think making shirts is nerdy, trying dressing up in full-on Gryffindor gear for midnight movie premieres/book releases… hehehe.

Love the scrapbook pages! I made some X-Mas cards, but I’ve been lazy about crafting in general lately…
