Hug a… Banana Split Sundae!

by Chocolate-Covered Katie on July 24, 2010

Saturday posts are always quick posts for me!

.

Chocolate-Covered Reminders:

1. There’s just one week left for Hug a Fruit Month! :)

Go find you a nectarine! Or honeydew, cantaloupe, apple…

honeydew

2. The Magic Bullet Giveaway ends next week.

So far, there are only 18 entries, which means your chances of winning are looking pretty good (compared to other giveaways).

.

Chocolate-Covered Shout-Out of the Day:

rachelsundae2

Going all out: chocolate, almonds, vegan “Whipped Cream” and all!

rachelsundae

Rachel’s big ole Banana Split Breakfast Sundae

Does it not look like something straight from Baskin-Robbins???

.

Tentative upcoming schedule:

1. More NYC posts, including Wicked!

2. Recipe for Oatmeal milk :)

2. And expect a deep, philosophical-type post tomorrow. Don’t say I didn’t warn you: it’s super-long!

Woah that banana breakfast looks amazing. I’m off to check out Rachel’s site! I think it’s the sweetest thing that you highlight other, little bloggers on your site! :) It’s great for us readers, too, because it helps us find great sites we might not otherwise know about!

I can’t wait to hear about Wicked! I’ve never seen it but I love the sound track.
I have always wondered how to make oat-milk. I really like the pre-made kind, but it would be nifty to have that little trick up my sleeve. :)

You always have the most decadent breakfasts!! I heard Wicked was supposed to be good. Never saw it though. I was going to enter your Magic Bullet giveaway, but alas, I just bought a Vita-Mix and thought I should allow someone else to win :)

Maybe I should hug my farmer’s market fruits this afternoon…
