You may or may not have noticed that I didn’t publish a blog post yesterday. (Normally I publish every day at around 10am EST.) I just had no desire to blog yesterday, feeling way too sad to write a fun post about chocolate or cookies or breakfast.
I know people don’t read my usually-uplifting (and light-in-tone) posts to feel sad or depressed. Therefore, I’ve written a separate post to talk about why I’m so sad at the moment. Please feel free to skip it if you’d rather not read about sad things.
I’ll be back to the happy posts soon, with recipes for chocolate cupcakes, healthy blondies, and peanut butter cookie oatmeal.
For now, if you’re interested, here’s why I’m so sad.

I’m so sorry for not answering any recent emails, tweets, comments, etc… as I said, I just don’t feel like blogging right now. If it’s a question to which you really need an answer, please feel free to ask me again tomorrow. Hopefully by then I’ll have pulled myself together somewhat.
