Hello chocolate pretzels!

henry 15

Today is the last day to enter the Best Giveaway Ever.

(Edit: There was an issue with people accessing the page yesterday, so I’m leaving it up another day.)

Sadly for you, Henry won’t be in there. He is too cute, and I’m going to keep him. But if the box really were to have all of my favorite things, Henry’d definitely be included.

I’d also include: a kabocha squash, my dSLR camera, scrapbooking supplies, and many of these:

my blog future

Why hello there, Ultimate Fudge Brownies.

Sound good?

Well then, I regret to inform you that my “favorite things” box wouldn’t be complete without: a pair of dirty running shoes, a bowl of mushy oatmeal, and some smelly steamed broccoli.

Oh, and a container of garlic-y Crazy-Good Ranch Dressing.

Question of the Day:

What would be in the contents of your “favorite things” box?

Peanut butter? Chocolate cheesecake? Your old retainer? Wait, maybe I don’t wanna know…

Katie is the baker, photographer, and author of the popular blog Chocolate-Covered Katie. Her favorite food is chocolate, and she believes in eating a balanced diet that includes dessert every single day. More about Katie—>

I couldn’t go a day without those things that’s for sure

    1. Awwww!!
I’ve never tried those Vibram things, but they intrigue me so much!

      1. Andrew Smith says:

Vibrams are awesome, although I must warn you that if you invest in a pair they will be involved in your next magical giveaway. You will be hooked :) They are so weird at first but once you get use to them normal shoes just can’t cut it :) Thanks for the amazing content by the way, your blog is seemingly more amazing with each post :)

      2. I’m afraid to make the expensive investment in case I don’t like them… also, I have weird feet! I’m an underpronator, and I don’t want to mess with anything and end up injured. But I really would love to try the Vibrams out!
And your comment put a huge smile on my face :).

      3. Andrew Smith says:

I must say I am so happy that I put a smile on your face, it is literally the least I could do for someone who puts countless smiles on countless faces each day, myself included :) Also, I got my vibrams to fix a postural issue, I was slouching badly and by wearing them I was forced to correct my spinal alignment and my pain went away after about a week, great investment for me but I was probably a lucky one :)
P.S Sorry to consistently block up your server with my comments, I know how busy you are :)

      4. Are you kidding me?! I love comments. One of my favorite parts of blogging is connecting with like-minded people!

Haha, this is fun! Mine would have a big tub of plain Greek yogurt, raw honey, a jar of Dark Chocolate Dreams, fresh spinach, tabbouleh and falafel, my to-go blender (you can detach the jar and use it as a to-go cup! it’s fantastic), my super-fluffy down comforter, my hiking shoes, Mrs. Dalloway, River of Gods (a great sci-fi novel, for those who like that sort of thing), crazy holiday-themed socks, my purple workout clothes, and maybe my boyfriend, though he’d probably eat all of the falafel. 😉

  32. Lyza says:

No way in heck!!! I am not entering your giveaway!! LOL I’d gain 30 pounds in a week! (plus I already won one…and that would just feel extremely greedy for me O.O)

The only way I’d enter another one of your giveaways is if you offered Henry to me, and that ain’t happening!!!!

I love broccoli :) My box would have baked sweet potatoes (heaven!), a mixture of blueberry jam and spicy brown mustard that makes something that tastes exactly like heinz (in my opinion), which is yep, totally inspired by your healthy ketchup recipe (I’m just lazy and it happened to work out for me 😛 ), my ballet shoes, the book “The Mists of Avalon,”, the book, “The Pillowbook of Cordelia Kenn,” green tea, lavender essential oil, roses, pressed flowers, prosetry, pre-rafaelite paintings, a fabulous swimming suit and cruelty free sunblock, my reuseable shopping bags made of recycled billboard along with my reuseable produce bags, my environmentally friendly house cleaner, eco friendly detergent ingredients, ribbons, bows, a lavender colored silk scarf, the film, “White Oleander,” and quite possibly the book too, mirado black warrior pencils with any kind of paper, a lilac candle that i never use because i love it so much and don’t want it to burn out, and absolutely tea tree oil bar soap!!

My puppy, peanut butter, pretzels, my camera, and my running shoes would be in my box!

    1. Yeah ugh. I can’t actually get to it right now either! But some people are still leaving comments, so apparently some people can! Weird! I called Bluehost and they said it’s probably a traffic thing, and we’re working on fixing it. And by “we,” I mean “they.” 😉

      1. Ooooooo I think it’s fixed!!!! Wheeeee! :)

  37. A box of fresh farmers’ market produce!

What can I say, I’m easy to please :)

    And brownies.
Man, that would be one big box!!!!!

  40. PBnJ Fam says:

Well, I will have to assume it is a regular box… not the refrigerator size… otherwise the list would go on forever (and I would have to stuff my husband and daughter in it)… So, on the top of the list… thanks to you… would be a jar of coconut butter :0) I can’t believe I went my whole life without it! A few more things: a silk blanket my 3-year-old gave me… yes I am an adult attached to a silk blankie like a child :) One of my triple chocolate cheesecakes and my ipod!!

  43. Jenny$1983 says:

Aw, that’s so cute! I’d love to see Henry, I’d give him a good home 😉 A small-ish favourite things box … my nicest LuluLemon outfit and my trainers; Twinings teabags; peanut butter, coconut oil and chocolate (since these can be consumed in ecstasy separately or combined to make a kickass Dark Chocolate Dreams imitation); porridge oats; “The God Delusion” by Richard Dawkins and “Night Watch” by Terry Pratchett; my contact lenses as I *loathe* wearing glasses with a vengeance and *love* how my lenses make me able to see as if I had perfect vision; strawberries, bananas and avocados; and do you think I could fit your blog in there? Hm, maybe it’d have to be just a piece of paper with the link written on it then 😀

I don’t have a “Henry” so my box would be Red Velvet Cupcakes, running shoes, and a smoothie maker with all necessary ingredients.

  49. Aja says:

    Cute puppy!

My box would include my cat, peanut butter, my computer, my ipod, my yoga mat, running shoes, and if he would fit, my boyfriend. Although, I might want to keep him out of the box. My cat doesn’t really like him, though she does love to eat his hair when he comes over.

My box would have…oatmeal, dark chocolate covered cranberries from TJ’s, my boyfriend, my camera, and too many other food items to name!!!

    1. If you add in some milk bones, Henry might just find his way into your box on his own 😉
