Do you want to be a taste-tester for Chocolate-Covered Katie??

You won’t get to taste this:

banana peanut butter

That is a jar filled with my famous Banana Butter.

I already know it’s good!

banana butter

Food Styling Tip:

You can buy all sorts of cute mason jars at craft stores like Michaels. I found this jar for $1 and have already used it for these photos and for the Pumpkin Peanut Butter.

Glass jars seem to photograph really well, because they reflect light. Plus, they’re not just for decoration—at the moment, my jar is storing chia seeds. *Ends mason-jar sales pitch*

Do you want to be a taste-tester?

There are just not enough hours in the day, and I get tired of trying different variations of the same recipes all the time. I know you all are busy, so instead of asking for a big commitment, how about this:

I’ll ask for testers on a case-by-case basis. You can choose to make just the recipes that sound good to you. Make one, make two, make none, make them all… there are no obligations. Smile

For the first round:

Here are the following recipes for which I need testers:

  • Molten Chocolate Cake for One
  • Vegan Cheesecake
  • Hot Apple Crumble Bars
  • Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread

If you’re interested in being a tester for any of the above, just leave a comment below, saying which recipe/s you’d like. I’ll email you the recipe and further details. (And if you get the recipe and aren’t interested, you can simply delete the email. As I said, there are no obligations. This is all for fun!)

Tomorrow’s agenda: a chocolate version of these treats.

Man, that would be a dream, lol. If only I had more time. Maybe you could send me all the leftovers so I could “taste test” them. 😀

    • Peanut butter lover says

I’ve been playing with a few vegan cheesecake recipies lately, including your secret veggie one, so I’d be very interested to see what your new recipe is going to be like. I’d also love to taste your molten chocolate cake, thankfully for one or I’d eat the all day I’m sure! Or the peanut butter cookie dough bread please!

  2. Katie Kortman says

I would love to taste teste the hot apple crumble bars or the pb cookie dough bread! I make your treats for my family every sunday night and receive rave reviews! Luckily since I made them, I get to eat all the leftovers:)

  3. Kim says

I will test the molten chocolate cake and peanut butter cookie dough bread. and you should come up with a peanut butter version of the chocolate molten cake. Mmmm

  4. Jordan says

If there is a microwave version of any of these, I’d be all for it! I’m in a dorm with no kitchen, so an oven is sort of out of the question, unfortunately.

  5. Val says

I would love to taste test for you!
I’ll do any or all of the following:
    Molten Chocolate Cake for One
    Hot Apple Crumble Bars
    Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread

  6. Whitney says

My roommate and I would LOVE to be the guinea pigs for Chocolate Cake and/or Apple Crumble 🙂 We are always excited to try a new recipe of yours!

  7. Noora says

I’d love to be a taste tester! The only problem is that the recipe would have to be gluten free, so is this the case with any of the recipes? If it is, I’ll be more than happy to test it (all the recipes sound good to me).

  8. Erin says

What a fun (and useful!!) idea! I would love to check out the molten chocolate cake for one! I’ve tried a few different recipes in the past and have not yet fallen in love… I’m feeling like yours could take the cake… bahah.

  9. steph - vegfortworth says

Yes, I’d love to be a taste tester, and I’d love to try to out gluten-free variations of recipes. I’d like to test out the cookie dough cake or cheesecake. But I’m really not picky. They all sound good!

  10. amber says

Hot apple crumble bars, the vegan cheesecake and the molten chocolate …. Yum!! Happy to taste test all three or just one. Can’t wait!!

  11. Ruth says

    YES PLEASE!!

Any of these: Molten Chocolate Cake for One
    Vegan Cheesecake
    Hot Apple Crumble Bars

Unforunately I’m allergic to nuts so will have to skip the last one, although I’m happy to try it with sunflower seed butter which i often use instead of peanut butter.

  12. Daniela says

You had me at the Molten Chocolate Cake for one! If it’s soy-free, I’d love to be a taste tester for this as I have just been wondering how I would put together a soy free single version of your delicious looking Chocolate Bar and Chocolate Fudge Pie!

Oh and as a busy reader but first time commenter of your blog: Thank you for all those gorgeous recipes and for your sweet and beautiful presentation of them. Love your blog!

  13. Emily says

Are you sending the recipes to everyone who ass or only one person per recipe?
Because, while I’m particularly intrigued by the peanut butter cookie dough bread, I’d love to check out all the recipes! You know, to see which I have ingredients for (and which sound like they’ll make my taste buds the happiest!)

    • Chocolate-Covered Katie says

LOL I honestly didn’t think so many people would be interested! So I am now thinking I probably won’t email people (way too time-consuming and confusing to sort through the comments and send different emails to everyone). Maybe I will just make a new page with all the recipes?? I have to think this through better! 😕

  14. Amelia says

Oooh, they all sounds so tasty! Just hook me up with both the “Molten Chocolate Cake for One”, “Hot Apple Crumble Bars” and “Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread” 😉

Uh, I realized too that this is my first time commenting on any of your post (I just couldn’t /not/ do it this time ;D). But I’ve been following you for quite som time now and I must say I really /adore/ your blog. I so admire your creativity and you’ve help me start letting my self enjoy sweet (and healthy) treats. So thank you! Keep up the good work

  15. Dawn says

I’d love to try any of them unless they have soy in them. We are pretty much vegan baking here but I can give them to my husband who can eat anything (lucky him!) if they aren’t vegan. But if they are, I may also try making them vegan style 🙂

      • Dawn says

I actually knew that, I’m not sure why I posted it lol I’ve made several of your recipes and have loved them! I only meant to mention soy! lol 3 weeks ago I made your Agar Agar Pudding/yogurt, 2 weeks ago I made the pancake ice cream sandwiches, I missed last week so maybe I should double up now 🙂 The kids loved them and Hub thought the pancakes tasted real good compared to the usual pancakes! 🙂

        • Dawn says

OMG I did it again! I know why I put vegan, I meant to put Gluten Free, not vegan lol So if any are GF, I would love to try! That will probably make a difference to you, but will try almost anything, like I said, my husband can eat anything, so he can eat the non GF foods and I may attempt make them gf. 🙂

  16. Erin says

I would love to test any and all of those delicious sounding recipes!!!! They all sound good… but of course I am partial to the peanut butter 🙂

  17. Kailey Miller says

    Hey there lady!
I’m from Arizona and have been a longtime drooler over your creations. I make a good deal of these treats for my other Nursing student friends. I would love love love to try any of these but the idea of peanut butter cookie dough bread sings to my heart especially! Love to hear back from you!

    Kailey

  18. Jenna says

I would CERTAINLY love to be a taste-tester for you!! I’ll test the Molten Chocolate Cake For One and/or the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread! Seriously? Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread? That sounds AMAZING! And very creative! I love the way your mind works ;).

  19. Jamie @ CollegeGirlCooking says

Hey Katie! I would love to be the tester for the cheesecake or the molten lava cake depending on what the ingredients are. One of my roommates is allergic to soy and the other is allergic to nuts. If one of those recipes have neither, I’m totally in!

  20. Noora says

I don’t know what I did, but apparently my comment disappeared 😀 But yeah, I’d be really interested in trying some gluten free recipes.

  21. pumpkinpie says

I would love to make the Molten Chocolate Cake and Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread. All my friends are hungry anyway…

  22. Kim says

I’d love to be a taste-tester for the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread! That sounds intriguing, and I’m on a Peanut Butter kick right now.

  23. Leah says

Oh my Chocolate! Would I? If I took the time to tell you how much the molten chocolate cake or anything with peanut butter interest me, I’d have less time to eat them. Oh well, I suppose I could live without recipes that have delicious-sounding titles and perhaps equally delicious tastes. I would absolutely love to test them out. In short: yes. Ok, I’m done.

  24. Jenifer Marshall says

Oh my gosh, I would love to taste test the molten chocolate cake. I’ve been waiting for you to post it so I can make some. 😛 omnomnom

  25. Debby says

    Hi Katie,
I would love to test the all but the cheesecake recipes for you! I’m not a big cheesecake person and I would like to see how your molten lava cake is because I have made one using almond meal that came out really good. I can’t wait!

    Thanks

  26. Alexandra (Veggin' Out in the Kitchen) says

Ahhhh this is PERFECT!!! I’ve been dying to ask you if I could be a tester for you, but you asked me instead 😀 I’d seriously love to test all of them, but number one is the molten cake and number two is the pb cookie dough bread! I’m sooooo, sooooo excited!!!!!!!! 😀

    Loooooove you!!!! <3

  27. Jessie says

I’d love to taste test any of them! The molten cake one sounds especially good!

What sort of time frame would you need your feedback by?

  28. Marissa says

I’d love to be a tester for all of your recipes!! I’m going to be going back to school in November to become a natural foods chef so I can use all the practice I can get!! I try to be gluten free so if you need someone to test out with gluten free flour, I can do that! Love to help!!
    Marissa

  29. Lauren says

Honestly, I would be thrilled to taste test any of those, especially the molten choc. cake!!! I would have to make it Gfree though, hopefully that’s not an issue 🙂

  30. Michaela says

Katie, that is a wonderful idea!!
I would love to participate… if only I know what to choose?? Ok, I will go for the vegan cheesecake, as I soon will be confronted with all my non-vegetarian friends again…

  31. Emma says

Uh…YES!! How could anyone not want to test for you Katie 🙂 All of them sound amazing, vegan cheesecake especially speaks to me though. Thank you for being so awesome.

  32. BA says

Oh my gosh all of those recipes sound so good! I would love to be a taste tester for the Molten Chocolate Cake, the Hot Apple Crumble Bars and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread. 🙂

  33. caroline says

this is such a creative idea!! since i live in minnesota and fall has come to stay..and i just happened to pick up my first apples of the season (I <3 fall apples!!!!) i will have to go with the hot apple crumble bars! 🙂 thanks soo much!!

  34. Ally says

Oh CCK, please-pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top pick ME! I would LOVE to be your tester for either the (1) Hot Apple Crumble Bars, or (2) Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread. I love apples and I love peanut butter, so either one of these sure-to-be-delicious recipes will be right up my alley (no pun intended with my name 🙂 )!

  35. chocolate girl's chocolate mom says

My daughter and I would love to give the molten chocolate cake for one a test drive (or two test drives, ’cause things could get ugly if there’s only one cake and two chocoholics going after it).

  36. Nicky says

Ooooh the peanut butter cookie dough bread sounds like absolute heaven!! I love all of your recipes Katie and have made so many as a fellow vegan UK sweet addict! 🙂

  37. Jill Stinson says

I’m dying to try the apple crumble bars and peanut butter cookie dough bread…plus I have two teenage daughters who are great “bakery”assistants and would love to help sample, too! Hope you’ll consider us…we’ve already tried about a gazillion variations of your blondies and have loved just about all of them!! 🙂

  38. Jess @ Healthy 'n Hungry says

wow this is an awesome idea & opportunity! I would love to try the Hot Apple Crumble Bars or the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread.

  39. Jenny says

Oh dear, Katie… I imagine you’re going to be sending out a lot of emails!

Personally, I would love to be a taste tester for the molten chocolate cake – that is my favourite dessert of all time, and the cake that my mom makes for my birthday, so I am so curious to see your take on it! – and the peanut butter cookie dough bread – because I love my bread!

(Obviously, it’s clear by now from my other comments that I’m not a cheesecake fan, so no vegan cheesecake for me. 😉 )

Have a great weekend! Don’t get bogged down with sending us emails, though. 🙂 I know you love blogging, but enjoy your weekend spending time on YOU, too, please!

  40. Bethany says

OMG sounds awesome. I am a little hesitate because I am so busy, but I would love to try the apple crumble bars. Should be blog about it? Email you with the results?

  41. Judy @ JudyAngel101 says

Hot apple crumble bars sound good to me! I’ll taste test those 🙂 I have plenty of apples at my house & have been craving something with apple that is not pie!! What a brilliant idea to have people taste test, Katie, I admire you, you always come up with something new & different 🙂

  42. Anna says

I love taste testing and having an excuse to make something new 😉 I would love to try your Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread

  43. Ali says

    Hi Katie,
I would love to be a tester! I actually adapted one of your recipes on my site. You can check out the Chick Bar link under recipes, I have it linked to your site. Can I participate in your next round? I am out of town next week because I am getting married! But I would love to help out in the future!
    Alison

  44. Jacqueline says

I’d love to make any of these but my brother is allergic to eggs and dairy and I know he’ll love the hot apple crumble bars! I’d like to test it please 🙂

  45. Cathy Bandy says

Molten Chocotae Cake; Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread; and Hot Apple Crumble Bars… My husband selected these… I do the baking and he’s the ultimate taste tester…

    Cathy

  46. Alex@Spoonful of Sugar Free says

I’d love to be a taste tester….but I would have to eat it sugar-free 😕 Don’t know if any of them are or not??? If so, count me in!

  47. Kplan says

I would be happy to come to EACH and EVERY person’s house and try their version of the above recipes.

Oh, and I’d even try to make the cheesecake and/or apple crumb bars myself as a taste-tester. I made vegan apple cake last holiday season and vegan pumpkin pie. Both were AWESOME. (I have no witnesses to this fact, b/c I ate all of the above thanks to an ill-timed blizzard…Thank goodness for the invention of the “Iron Gym door workout.”)

  48. Lori Z. says

Sounds fun and I’ve loved every recipe of yours I’ve tried! I’d like to try the Molten Chocolate Cake for One (even though I will have to share it with my kids!) and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread.

  49. amber says

Hi Katie, I would love to test some recipes. I’m interested in testing the Vegan Cheesecake, Hot Apple Crumble Bars, and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread. 🙂 I’ve enjoyed every recipe that I have ever made of yours.

  50. Emma (Sweet Tooth Runner) says

I swear you can actually READ MY MIND Katie!! Not even KIDDING I was thinking about begging to be your taster today after eating your brownies this morning! 😛 Anyway, they all sound AMAZING and I’d love to try all of them if that’s ok! 😀

LOVE YOU you are the best!! <3

    • Chocolate-Covered Katie says

Fact: I was *this* close to writing a parenthetical statement in my post that said, after the part where I asked for taste testers: (Emma!!!)
But then I didn’t want you to feel obligated, so I left it out. But I seriously was thinking about writing that in there LOL!

  51. Trish says

Katie, I think I may have been born for this role! I would love to try any recipes for you, especially the cheesecake. Or anything gluten-free/raw/low-sugar/soy-free… I have been trying to incorporate these features into my baking/treat-making 🙂

  52. Aly says

I would absolutely love to be a taste-tester! My top picks are Vegan Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough bread. I love your blog and all the recipes–I just made some of the chocolate fudge pie and my residents and I (I’m an RA at my school) have been devouring it. I also made a double batch of chocolate-chip blondies for our first floor meeting, and everyone loved them! One of my residents can’t have gluten–yay for chickpeas! Thanks so much for all you do.

  53. Taylor says

Apple bars and cookie dough bread, please! I love recipe testing for other people, since there are usually only a few changes to make. Most of the hard work is done!

  54. bitt of raw says

I was just thinking literally 1 second ago how I was missing doing testing for a cookbook (I just finished a project). Then I read this! I can only make gluten-free stuff, or adapt the recipes to gluten-free. But if that’s ok, I’d do any of them! My husband would be so happy. He wants me to make more treats.

  55. Jenny says

ahhh I would love to be a taste tester :)! any chance I can score a recipe for that molten chocolate cake for one? You know me and single serve recipes 😉

  56. Michele says

Hi! I have been reading your blog for a while but haven’t commented until now (sorry for being so creepy)! I would love love LOVE to try the hot apple crumble bars! Or the molten chocolate cake…. ah how can I possibly decide! Okay… the hot apple crumble bars I think!
Thank you for this–it is an amazing idea!

  57. ~Jessica~ says

I would love to try any of the recipes as long as they are gluten-free! From looking at the list I think the only one would be the cheesecake but my preference would be for the molten lava cake 🙂

I would be so privileged to be a taste-tester: I’m having a lot of blood sugar issues at the moment so some healthier dessert ideas would be fantastic. Not that there aren’t already a million ideas on your blog, but I am inherently lazy and the taste test would be a great motivator to me to actually get in the kitchen!

    xxx

  58. Lindsay@LivingLindsay says

I’d LOVE to taste test the apple crumble bars!! Send the recipe on please!! I’ll be the best taste tester ever!
(P.S. Can I add this to my resume?)

  59. Rhonda says

I’d LOVE to help test the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread! I’ve already been experimenting with peanut butter breads this week so this would be right up my alley. 🙂

  60. Danielle says

Hi Katie! I’d love to try any and all recipes you wanted to send my way!! The thought of a healthy chocolate lava cake just makes my toes currrlllll!

  61. Jodi Theisen says

Ooh Vegan cheesecake please Katie? I was just lamenting the loss of my favourite non-chocolate dessert since going dairy/gluten/sugar free.

  62. Amy Warren says

Katie! My friend Olivia and I were JUST discussing last night that there should be some sort of peanut butter loaf/bread, because we both love peanut butter and had never seen one before. We would LOVE to be taste testers for your peanut butter cookie dough bread recipe!

  63. carol says

Hi pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze can I be a taste tester for all the recipes? I reaaaaally love your blog and read it first thing every day!!!!!!!!! Thanks!

  64. Kendra says

Hi Katie, I would love to taste-test the vegan cheesecake and the hot apple crumble bars! I could also share them with my siblings and parents, so they could give their input too:)

  65. Clare says

I would love, love, love taste testing your Molten Chocolate Cake for One! =] Every recipe you do sounds like a dream, ahaha I don’t know how you do it.

  66. Kristin @ STUFT Mama says

Well, shucks, I was away from my computer all morning and now there are so amny other comments. I would LOVE to be the taster for either the molten chocolate cake or the PB cookie dough bread!!!! 🙂 I actually want to be the taster like right this very minute. Is that bad? 🙂 Congrats on 4000 FB likes! You deserve it!

  67. aisha says

    hello there katie!

i would love to try the peanut butter cookie dough bread recipe! i haven’t been in love with a bread recipe in quite a long time so this would be AWESOME.

    thanks and looking forward,

    aisha

  68. Danni (Healthy Kitschy Vegan) says

Hey Katie! I am up for testing any and all of your recipes! So put me down for one of everything ;D May I ask if I could post pics of the results on my blog? (recipes would not be given away, of course!)

  69. Kerryne says

Miss CCK… I would love to taste any of these if anyone wants to make them for me in about a week 😉 Ha ha, I do have a question for you, I am hosting a BUNCO night at my house in a couple of weeks and am obligated to serve dinner and dessert… most of these ladies are not health freaks like myself and probably don’t really care if it is “vegan” or “healthy” they just want it to be GOOD, so I turn to you. Can you recommend one of your desserts that would be easy on the health freaks and tasty for the non health freaks??? I love everything and can’t pick one! Thanks girl!

    • Crystal says

I would so rec the chocolate pie (with basically just tofu and chocolate)…so rich and delicious and no one olever knows it even had tofu…promise! I made it twice in the last 2weeks and served to many unsuspecting people 🙂

      • Chocolate-Covered Katie says

Agreed about the ultimate-chocolate pie. Either that or the deep-dish cookie pie. Both always get rave reviews from “normal” eaters. And let me know how it goes if you do make one!!

Just don’t make the spinach ice cream ;).

  70. Tara says

I’m willing to try ALL of them… or whatever gets the least amount of taste testers if that helps. Though if I had my pick, it would come down to the apple crumble bars!

  71. Crickett Brown says

(My first time posting to your blog! 😀 )

As a mom to 5 children I am always looking for healthy snacks and desserts. I was so glad when I found your blog!! So, sure thing, I’d love to be a taste tester as would my children.

  72. Elise says

If you still need testers (I’m looking at the 222 comments above mine!!) I’m happy to try the cheesecake and the hot apple crumble bars. What are you looking for in terms of feedback??

  73. Lisa says

I would LOVE to try any of them, I am celiac so i would make it gluten free but many of your things are which is why I LOVE cck!

  74. Kim says

I’d be a tester for any of those except the peanut butter one – I have a son with severe peanut allergies. I usually just sub in WOW butter or almond butter!

I thought of you today as I was baking with my 3.5 year old daughter. As she popped a chocolate chip into her mouth and licked the baking bowl clean she said “mom, I love chocolate!” Too cute!

  75. Meredith says

I’d definitely be interested in the vegan cheesecake! yumyumyum 🙂 I’ve been on a kick lately making your agar puddings, which are so delicious and the flavor variations are endless!

  76. Michelle says

YUM – molten lava cake for one and/or PB cookie dough bread… I don’t remember how I discovered your site earlier this week but OH MY GOODNESS!!! I’m not vegan and told someone recently that I could “never be vegan” because I love baking & desserts too much… (and when I hear “V” I instantly think carob chips – gross! No chocolate?!?!) I made your big bowl of cookie dough dip (but with a little ww flour to make it thicker) and grabbed a spoon and was in absolute heaven. My quest toward a more natural, healthy lifestyle (without the scale and the word “diet”) been switching my focus to locally-grown/organic/veggie-based meals but I can’t fathom life without dessert (I too am a self-proclaimed SERIOUS chocoholic)! I can’t tell you how excited I was to find your blog and drool over your recipes. Also (and this is a long comment!) I appreciate your “About me” section – I struggle with my weight (I know sugar and desserts take a huge part of that blame) and had never heard from anyone “on the other side.” It was incredibly affirming to read your story. I’m glad I found your blog and I’m super excited to make more recipes!! Have you thought about turning it into a book? (Pretty please?)

  77. Sandra says

Molten Chocolate Cake for One please! 🙂 I love to give it a try! But I live in sweden and dont know if you only whant people who live more close? I mean you will never find my brand in your store (i think) and i wont be able to find yours!

But I think its a creativ and very good idea! 🙂

  78. Becca says

Is it sad that one of my dreams in this world is to be a recipe tester? I love to cook, but I don’t really have a reason to make anything other than dinner or cookies. Testing will give me a reason and an excuse to spend the night in the kitchen. 🙂
The hot apple crumble bars and the motlen cake sound the most intriguing.

  79. Erica says

I’d love to test the hot apple crumble bars, assuming modifications are okay (primarily making it sugar-free to make it diabetic-friendly)

  80. Ashley says

Ooooohh I would love to test for you, particularly the apple crumble bars!
I’d be willing to test everything! With exams things are a little crazy, but I’ll definitely make the Hot Apple Crumble Bars and Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread a priority 😉

  81. Katie says

Hi Katie! I’d love to try the:
    Molten Chocolate Cake for One
    Hot Apple Crumble Bars
    Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread

    Thank you!

  82. Danielle says

Will happily taste test anything, but especially the molten chocolate cake and the peanut butter dough bread! The apple one I can do as well; just went to an orchard and came home with a huge bag of apples.

  83. Carly says

So i pretty much neeeeed the recipe for the Molten Chocolate Cake for One (= That, and/or the Apple Crumble Bars!!
    Thanks katie; you’re incredible!

  84. Carly says

  85. Alyson says

    Hey lovely,
I would simply adore to be a taste tester for any of those recipes that could happen in a college kitchen. (; Let me know if any of that is doable and hook me up, sistah! I’d love to help you out!
Also, I’m still a devoted reader of your blog, I just haven’t blogged or commented in a loooonnnggg time! (:

    Love,
    Aly

  86. A says

  87. Katie @Nutrition In A Peanut Shell says

Maybe the Chocolate Molten Cake for One also 🙂 Can’t wait!

  89. Danielle says

Wow! It looks like you have more than enough tasters but just in case, I’ll throw my hat in the ring too. I’d like to try either the apple bars or the cookie bread! They all sound great though!!

  90. Carissa says

I might be too late as I’m just catching up on blog reading. I’m interested in the pb cookie dough bread or the hot apple crumble bars if you’re still looking for more tasters! Everything I’ve made of yours had been delicious!

  91. Natalie says

Hi Katie! I love reading all your innovative recipes, but haven’t actually tried any yet, so I’d love to participated in the taste-testing, if you still need volunteers. I’d be up for the Apple Crumble or the PB Cookie Dough Bread. What a great way to force me to try them out (I’ve been meaning to!).

  92. amber says

oh no, my comment didn’t go through that I posted the other day. 🙁

I’m itching to test out the Vegan Cheesecake, Hot Apple Crumble Bars, and Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bread.

Hey! I would love to be a taste tester for anything besides the cheesecake (I’ve just never liked cheesecake), so long as the recipe is gluten-free. I love your blog!

    Hi Katie,

Did you think of a way to submit your awesome recipes to willing testers? I’ve tested recipes for a vegan cookbook author before and she had created a free forum to post recipes in. The testers commented their modifications etc. right below the recipe. It was fun!

Wow you got alot of responses! That’s wonderful! If you are still willing to accept more taste testers I would love to try the molten chocolate cake for one, vegan cheesecake and apple crumble bars. Thanks for the opportunity. I recently found your site and keep returning to it. I’m dairy and soy free and trying to reduce yeast, sugar and eggs. I have only tried the apple cinnamon boatmeal so far, but really liked it and am looking forward to trying more recipes very soon. Thanks and have a lovely day

I’m actually getting ready to ask for real testers for a cookbook… but I do have a sugar-free deep-dish cookie pie recipe that needs testing at the moment!

If you try it, I would absolutely LOVE to know your thoughts (good or bad… seriously, don’t be shy about telling me the truth if you hate it lol).

Use the basic recipe for the deep-dish cookie pie, but just leave out all sugar. Add 2 cups pitted dates (300g), three stevia packets, and 1/2 cup almond milk. Process in 2 or 3 batches, because the food processor will have a hard time doing it all at once. Then add in the chocolate chips (or sugar-free chocolate chips if you wish).

No worries if you never get around to making this one (or if it’s not up your alley)!

      • Sünne says

Oh, I SO would love to try the recipe but don’t have access to stevia (not sold in Germany).

Do you think I might be a tester for your cookbook? I’ve been a huge fan of your blog and recipes for years now. I’d be very happy to help (and eat delicious food, naturally)!

I would love to make the vegan cheese cake! I am going to a meditation/yoga get together on the 6th of June. After the meditation we are going to have a vegan/raw food gathering. I would love to make this to take and I will let you know what everyone thinks!

  108. Samantha Regis says

Hey Katie! I was wondering if you still look for taste-testers on new recipes, or if that was more of just something you needed when the post went up… I’d totally love to help if i can;) haha:)

I definitely am going to need testers… But I’m still not sure how to ask or set it up. 😕
When I asked in this post, I got hundreds of people who volunteered, and my blog reached a much smaller audience back then. I’m not sure how to choose… and I hate being the one to exclude people. Still brainstorming…
