Katie – this single-serving page is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for doing that!!! I think single-serving breakfasts would be great!

  2. Liz says

Thank you for doing these photo pages. I know it must be a boring and long task to make photo pages of all the recipes, but its so much easier to navigate for people like me who prefer a visual.

This is without a doubt my favorite website on the entire internet :).

  3. Jacquie K. says

Breakfast, please! I’m always looking for new and different offerings! Cereal, hot or cold, gets real boring. Can’t eat too many eggs, either. So, let’s see what you can do for breakfast. I have every faith in you that it will be delish!

  4. Therese says

Yeah! Thanks Katie, for the single serving category! It is perfect for my weight control program! Keep up the GREAT work!:D I love your recipes!:D

  5. Alayna says

Thanks for the new page! I love your single serving desserts. 🙂 To answer your question, I’d like to see breakfasts next!

  6. Simone says

gurreat! thanks so much, i’m not a single lady but I am in a relationship with a man that does not like desserts or sweets!!! I know, as if there is such a thing… so this is perfect for me 🙂

  7. Kerry says

I love your single serving desserts! Thanks for the new page. It looks great! Breakfast is my favorite meal, so I would love to see some new breakfast recipes.

  8. Lauren says

Your photos are the BEST! I’d love to see more photography tutorial posts, because I struggle with making food look pretty in photos, and you have some of the prettiest food photos of all the blogs I read.

Oh and to answer your question, it really doesn’t matter to me. Just keep posting beautiful photos and I will be a happy reader!

  9. Andie says

Wow, these all look so delicious! I love single serving recipes because my family is the LEAST healthy-desert-eating family you will ever meet, and I don’t want to make something that’ll serve 6 for just me! (However, I recently made your Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Pie and your sugar cookies, both of which had success with my mom and brother!) Also: I say bring on the breakfast recipes!! Both pages would be great though. 😀

  11. Amber with Slim Pickin's Kitchen says

That’s so friggin’ funny! I was totally thinking about your single serve carrot cake today and how I was going to finally try out the recipe soon! Thanks for this!

  12. Mandy says

Though it appears unanimous, a breakfast would be great, especially one that can be made in a hurry because mornings are a frantic rush out the door. I need something tasty, filling, and easy enough to whip up in the midst of my daily hassles to get from one place to another.

  13. Am says

Wait! You mean that not all of your recipes are breakfast recipes?! 😀
… I use a lot of the recipes for breakfast — I have had Reeses for breakfast (my favorite, so much energy when I am at work early in morn), cookies for brekkie (love to bake), and milkshakes (CCK’s new recipe! + I had tofu to use up = whip up new Chocolate Protein Milkshake 10 minutes before I need to leave), too. …

I’d love to see a breakfast page. 😀

  14. Michelle says

I have been trying to do a visual recipe index like the one you now have for such a long time! Do you have any tips to point me to where I can find out how to have the photos with the link underneath?

  15. Kris says

Of the two, I would say Breakfast. I would also make an argument for a list of your recipes that under X number of calories – I think this would drive a lot of traffic to your site

  16. Jan says

    Uuum, chocolate candy breakfasts please?

Really though, I’m in love with your breakfasts. Yesterday I made the tofu scramble dealie, and today I made banana bread boatmeal (in a mini-cupcake pan!) so I’d love more breakfast options from you.

  17. Lacey @ Life Hands You Limes says

Yay! This makes it so much easier:) I made your single serving funfetti cupcake for my friend on her 16th birthday, she basically said it was AH-MAZING!!!! (and she isn’t even vegan!) Your awesome 😀

How about a candy-inspired breakfast?? That sounds tasty:)

  18. Kat says

Chocolate and candy!!! I love having healthy candy recipes on hand so I can squash any cravings I may get for the unhealthy junk I see at the checkout line.

  19. Megan says

Breakfast!!! Breakfast is hands-down my favorite meal of the day. And you have so many delicious recipes! If I wake up too late to have breakfast, I’ll have it for lunch. I need to have breakfast food at least once a day 🙂

  20. Seja_LiveLaughLove says

Every time I visit your blog my mouth instantly begins to water! And chocolate always wins in my book 🙂 Maybe a chocolate for breakfast with candy on top – or is that a totally irresponsible suggestion?

  21. Julia says

I just thought you should know that your “One Minute Chocolate Cake” link actually leads to your “Single-Serving Mocha Chocolate Cake”

    • Chocolate-Covered Katie says

The recipes are so similar that I felt too badly to list them both on the page. I thought about which one to list, and decided on the mocha one because if you just leave out the coffee it’s the same as the other recipe. But I liked the first picture better ;).

  22. Nina says

    Hi Katie!
I just want to ask you if you could do a few healthy desserts with white chocolate, because I really love white chocolate (I think I love it so much as you love the dark one) but it’s unhealthy, isn’t it? Can you please give me some examples that aren’t unhealthy?
    Love you,
    Nina xx

  23. Lisa says

I realize this is not one of the two options, but can I put in a vote for a page for the future, once you’ve covered both breakfast and chocolates/candy? I would really like to eventually see a page for food that are good to take to parties, as in all the food that is good for a crowd but also is easily made ahead. As for the two given options, I’ll vote for breakfast. Thanks for your awesome site!

  24. erin says

katie, when i click on the recipe tab at the top of the page, i only get “snackity-snacks, special diet recipes, and non-dessert recipes.” where’s the single ladies category? am i doing something wrong???

    • Alanna says

Hi Erin — the categories you are seeing are the ones that drop-down when you hover over the recipe tab, but if you actually just click where it says recipes, it should take you to this page:

      https://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/chocolate-covered-recipes/

where there’s a picture of the strawberry shortcake cupcake with “single serving desserts” underneath it. If you click on that caption, you should get to the page that looks like Katie’s post above. It might work a little differently on a mobile browser, but hope that helps!

  25. Jessica says

HI there, I repinned your single-serving microwave cakes….exactly what I was looking for tonight! Do I qualify for the Cuisinart? Thanks, I love your recipes!

    • cck says

Only the single-serving chocolate peanut butter cake. Maybe you could omit the chocolate and just add that much more of the pb2 for a plain pb one?

  26. Annie says

Breakfast! I hate eggs and it seems as though every restaurant, recipe, and breakfast platter involves them. Do you have any awesome ideas for a good, wholesome breakfast that doesn’t involve them? I’m getting sick of cereal lol. Keep up the good work 🙂

  27. Jen N says

Ok, so I am putting this page on my bookmarks bar. I am here so often! I make the chocolate cake, german chocolate cake, coffee cake, and banana bread all the time. Tonight I am trying the cupcake. Love this page! Anytime I am in the mood to make something for dessert at night (or when I wake up and want something quick) I go straight to your site and browse around. Such a lifesaver. And now you join the company of pin it, google translate, and Riley’s favorite Elmo videos on my bookmark bar.

  28. Holly says

Idk how I found this website but I love it, and all of these single desserts! I have changed to a much healthier lifestyle focusing on whole foods and clean eating. But, I still have a sweet tooth. Now I realize I cant necessarily go crazy on all of your recipes, but they are awesome alternatives. And while there are other sites with”swaps” (ahem, hungrygirl, ahem) a lot of those other sites use artificial junk to make the swaps. Who wants to really use non-dairy powder coffee creamer or cool whip? That’s not real food. Anyway, thanks for sharing all of these great recipes I know I don’t have to use chemicals to make & enjoy them with!

  29. Mary says

I’m a single girl recovering from spinal surgery, which has left me dormant and I’ve put on some unwanted LB’s unfortunately 🙁 I was looking for some healthy treats to help me through this time period and that’s when I discovered your blog! Just wanted to let you know that trying out your recipes cheers up my day!

  30. Annie says

I did not know where else to post this, so please excuse the fact that I’m slightly off topic here, but I have two things to say:
First of all, I am not a vegan, but I love your blog. What got me hooked were all those single- serving treats perfect for when you’re craving something sweet but still relatively healthy. I am just eating a one- minute brownie, but a slightly different version, which brings me to my second point- have you ever tried subbing tahini for nut butter/ margarine? I think it’s amazing and it saved the day for me, because that’s all I had left in my fridge. It is slightly bitter, but I think you can get away with using the same amount of sweetener. Of course it doesn’t suit every recipe, but I think a hint of sesame is quite nice, so I just thought I’d through that out there for you and your readers to try.
    Keep up the good work!
