When I first started out posting recipes, it was my intention to never list nutrition info in my posts. I believe that foods are so much more than a label of numbers.

For more on this subject, see My Thoughts on Calorie-Counting.

However, many people have asked begged for calorie counts. One commenter, in particular, made such a good argument that she convinced me to at least add them to my recipes sometimes. So while I still don’t believe it’s wise to view foods as good or bad based on numbers, I realize some of my readers feel differently. As a compromise, I’ll list the numbers on occasion.

Also: Because of differences in brands, variations, and optional ingredients, your numbers might vary a little. Just another reason not to put too much stock in the numbers! 😉
