CCV in a Box!

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens… These are a few of my favorite things.

It’s the “CCV in a Box” Giveaway!box

What does this entail?  It entails everything you see below (and none of the creepiness you see above!).  I’ve been blessed with so much in life, and I want to share it with you.  (If I were Paris Hilton, I’d share with ALL of you, but sadly—or maybe not so sadly!—I am not Paris Hilton.)

In principle, the box should include a butternut squash, lotsa kale, and a stalk of broccoli… but these were left out, for obvious reasons ;) .  Running shoes, Adobe Photoshop, and an immersion blender should also be part of the loot—you know, for those blended grains.  But they’re not included either. (Please refer to above Paris-Hilton comment.)

What is in the box, and why?

     1. My favorite bars:

  • A chocolate Jocalat bar (reviewed here)
  • A chocolate brownie Z bar (reviewed here)
  • A chocolate-walnut Nectar bar (reviewed here)
  • A cinnamon-raisin Gnu bar (not chocolate?!  Shocking, I know.)
  • A Coconut Larabar

     2. Artisana Cacao Bliss Butter (reviewed here)

     3. Dark Chocolate Dreams PB&Co Peanut Butter (reviewed here)

     4. Williams Farm Peach Salsa (My favorite “sauce” for salad. It’s also a main ingredient in my Somewhere over the Rainbow sandwich)

     5. The best-tasting cinnamon (I am a Cinna-Monster and shake this stuff like there’s no tomorrow—Banana Spice Pudding, Butter(nut) Me Up Squash Fries, Snickerdoodle Oatmeal… you get the picture.)

     6. Chopsticks (because I eat almost everything with chopsticks!  I forgot them in the photo, but they’ll still be in the box.)

     7. Plum green tea (to wash down second breakfast!)

     8. My favorite Irish oats (for all those oatmeal recipes)

     9. Agar Agar flakes, so that you can make Three-Ingredient Alfredo Sauce, Choco-licious Chocolate Pudding, or any other pudding flavor your mind can invent (Carrot Cake Pudding, anyone?)

    10. An Africard (because even though they have nothing to do with food, Africards are a big part of my life)

Phew!  I think that’s enough for one giveaway.  Gotta save some stuff for the next giveaway.  Plus, I’m not made of money.

.

Oh wait, yes I am made of $$$$—literally.

I’m still working on the rules, so please check my next post to find out how to enter the giveaway!!

Question of the Day: What would be the contents of YOU-in-a-Box?

Oh my good, peach salsa?!!! Is that better than those generic brand tomato salsa – I don’t like those ones :/ BUT OH MY GOD … i tried some pumpkin relish on my sandwich the other day >> it was heavenly …. I just need to get the recipe the nxt time I go there (its labelled vegan too!)…. it is soooo good!

This is the best giveaway ever! I think the only thing that would beat it out would be the actual CCV in a box! Maybe you should consider getting a CCV doll patented. Or like one of those chocolate bunnies, only scratch the bunny and make it a milk chocolate Katie. It’d be perfect, just in time for easter!

  43. March 31, 2009 4:00 pm

Me in a box: peanut butter, bananas (if possible), coffee beans, oats, a box of cereal, granola bars, and small packs of dried fruit and nuts. If it were possible to include veggies there would be lots of those in there too.
