This pumpkin dip, when made with the full amount of brown sugar, will have just 25 calories per tablespoon.
(Other pumpkin dip recipes I saw had up to 100!)
If you want a completely sugar-free dip: omit the brown sugar and use 1 and 1/4 cup pitted dates, such as SunMaid. (In a bowl, cover the dates with 1/2 cup water. Let this sit for at least 4 hours. Then drain the dates and blend them with the other ingredients until very smooth.
