Sugar-Free Peach Breakfast Crisp

I like to eat the same things as my friends, especially because it helps people to see that veganism isn’t some weird diet that ostracizes one from society.

As I wrote in my post on Special Diet Parties, nothing screams “weirdo” as loudly as the girl hiding in the corner with her “special” food that no one else can sample.

But we all have different taste buds, so I’ll often make similar versions of recipes, with just a few substitutions to cater to our different preferences. For example, with this recipe I actually made a double batch and kept half of it completely sugar-free. For me, the sweetness from the peaches, as well as the yogurt, was enough. But I knew my friends would want it sweeter, so I added the sugar to their half. If you do have a sweet tooth, but don’t want to add sugar, perhaps you can try just using 3 packets of stevia. As it says in the recipe, I used a mixture of sugar and stevia for my friends, and they all loved it. They didn’t notice the stevia at all.
