Circle Of Friends

Remember how I mentioned I was going to a party on Tuesday and I’d write more about it later? Welcome to later!

The party was for a group, called Circle of Friends, that pairs children with special needs with a buddy and plans fun events. This past Tuesday’s event was a karaoke and dance party. Since I didn’t ask permission to post most of the kids’ pictures, you don’t get to see the huge smiles on their faces… but believe me, everyone had a terrific time.

I didn’t show up empty-handed. (Do I ever go to a party empty-handed?) The yellow sheet cake I baked and decorated was gone almost before I set it down on the table!

Here’s a pic of me, with my favorite friend 🙂

That is so sweet of you to bake for them. I LOVE the groups name, “circle of friends.”

That’s great that you’re getting involved with special needs kids. They tend to be neglected by many.
Kids in general need good role models and someone OUTSIDE of their normal lives to mingle with.

They must have been really happy and appreciative. I sort of already am. LOL.

    weirdo—>me 😀

You are so adorable! You just seem like such a kind person and that cake is great! Also, it’s nice to see someone my age who looks really young – I’m 22 and I’m always mistaken for a 16 year old!! Do you ever get that?
