Healthy Chocolate Brownie Blizzard

5 from 2 votes

This healthy thick and fudgy soft serve chocolate blizzard treat is a brownie lover’s dream come true!

Vegan Chocolate Blizzard

Growing up, I used to absolutely love Dairy Queen chocolate blizzards.

Rich brownie batter and fudgy brownie bites are blended into a creamy chocolate soft serve so deliciously thick that if you hold it upside down, it stays in the serving cup.

But even a small DQ chocolate blizzard packs in a shocking 770 calories, over 100 grams of carbs, and close to 80 grams of sugar – and that’s just for a small.

Not to mention the corn syrup, white flour, artificial colors, and preservatives.

Do your health a favor and make your own healthy chocolate blizzard at home!

The chocolate treat can be dairy free, egg free, raw, vegan, gluten free, paleo, and added sugar free.

It can be nut free if you use something like coconut butter, sunbutter, or your favorite peanut butter substitute.

There’s also a banana free option in the recipe for those who prefer their chocolate frozen dessert to not have any banana flavor at all.

Katie, in the redesigned version of the recipes sent by email (redesigned sometime in late June or early July?), there is no longer a link to the post from the email. Are you aware of this? Is this intentional or an accident in the process (I hope) of being fixed?

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi! Sorry for the confusion! We didn’t realize that until someone pointed it out to us, so the past two emails (this one included) should have a link to the blog post where it says “Here’s a printable version” right before the ingredients. Maybe we should also make the first photo a link?

      • Avra says

Okay, I see that. I had assumed that was a link to the print page rather than the actual blog post. Wouldn’t it be clearer to just have the title of the recipe at the top of the email and have that be a link, like it used to be?

We are with a different company now, so their options are different. The recipes should be much easier to read than they were before, especially on mobile 🙂
