Just found your blog. I’m so happy. I love baking but since my husband and I recently did a complete 180 on our bad eating habits, it’s been so hard to find good recipes that I can get my bake on with. There are so many good ones here I don’t know what to try first. Any suggestions/favourites?
hey katie finally got around to making the cashew cream, u had a recipe up a while ago that need it.. and i wanted to make it but needed the cashew cream.. well now i made the cream and cant for the life of me remember what the recipe was that needed it!!!
Do you have a cookbook I can purchase?
love all your recipes- although lots of them have nuts and little things that you have to go out and look specially for it. i’m so glad i found this blog….GO CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER!!!!
I’m so sorry that you couldn’t play nice in the sandbox with Pinterest. I found your site because someone pinned you on Pinterest. I started checking in on your site daily because of Pinterest. I got an email from them today and lost many many recipes I had pinned of yours because I pinned them via someone else. I have a daughter with allergies that I used those recipes for. To have to try to: 1. remember which recipes they are as well as 2. find them again on your site is miserable. I don’t think I will be following your site anymore. I would think that you would love to have your name and great abilities out there. Again, I can’t be the only person that got that email and lost a whole bunch of your recipes today. Thanks, but I’m going to find a new sandbox.

You have no idea how much your email hurt me. I did not send out the emails from Pinterest and have been so upset by them… I don’t know why they were sent out, and I’ve begged their help desk for help.
So to receive your comment just made me even more upset. Nothing makes me happier than when people re-pin my recipes, and I have been crying all day.

OK,what’s going on here!
I don’t know much about Pinterest but I do know about chocolate covered Katie’s website and what the heck! It is not hard to find her recipes at all! by the way I just turned 12 and if its not hard for me it’s not hard for you.
Thanks, Olivia 🙂
Just a little confused… I pinned a recipe from someone and it was later deleted. I came here to follow you on my own and noticed you have PIN IT buttons. What the heck? If you don’t want it pinned, then remove the buttons.
I just saw the post above me. I am sorry. I am going to follow you on my own and pinterest can kiss my fanny. Keep up the good work and I am sorry.

Love your recipes.
I made the pineapple upside down pancakes for breakfast today.
All three of us loved them.
I had to 4x the recipe.
I would love it if you would make your recipes large enough for 4 people.
Thanks for all your work.Lorraine
Where is the recipe for the blue stuff between the chocolate chip cookies?
Katie I was craving Golden Oreos today and I even ate one 😛
But could you make a homemade golden oreo recipe? I can’t decide quite how they make that flavor.
My first attempt was not very good, but I will keep trying.
two questions please 🙂
i just bought garbonzo bean flour because i was told its good for you, well im not a fan of the taste! 🙁 have any recipes that i could use it in to save me! lol
also have you worked on a recipe for “oatmeal creme pies”?
thank you! i love your recipes, u r awsome!
The only one I have is for the gf breakfast pizza. However, I *think* you could successfully exchange the brown rice flour for garbanzo flour in the recipe I posted today (gluten-free cinnamon sugar waffles).
Oh wait, and the zucchini fries! https://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2013/05/28/crispy-healthy-baked-zucchini-fries/
Working on the oatmeal cream pies 🙂

So obsessed with your blog. You inspired me each time I bake/cook anything. I have such a sweet tooth and you have helped me kick it in a healthy way. 😉
You are probably sick of requests…. but I really had to mention it….E.L. Fudge cookies? From the hollow tree? 😉
i love this blog. but i hope there will be a page just for all recipe for easy access. thats all:)
Hi CCK, my sister forwarded me a link to your blog and I’m hooked! I have a question for you that you may or may not be able to answer. I am 45 and my husband is 50, we both are constantly trying to lose weight (me, 10 lbs or so, always! and him, 30 or so). I try and cook really healthy (I have two teens and want them to eat right) but it’s so confusing with all the nutrition data out there. Don’t eat bread, don’t drink wine, don’t eat sugar! My gosh, what CAN I eat?!!! I’m just wondering if you lost weight when you became vegan? It seems to get harder to lose the older we get (you wouldn’t know anything about that yet! 😉 ) I know my poor hubby is so aggrevated that he can’t lose weight. I just wonder if trying to go the vegan route would help. Keep up the great work! I have a stack of your recipes that I’m dying to try this weekend! ***** Cindy
Not Katie, but I did lose some of the extra weight when I went vegan :).
Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes with us. So many tasty things to try! It’s really great that you put them in single servings or small servings, as well. Easy to make bigger if needed, but it’s nice to know how much for ONE serving!
hey love the blog!!!!!!could you please add a section that has lunches for school pleeeaaasseee!!! THANKS BYEEEEEE!
Came browsing for some new dessert ideas, but now I want to pretty much try them all! Baking and eating is productive right?
Anyway, great blog! 🙂
Thanksgiving will be here soon and I would like to practice your no bake chocolate pumpkin pie – do you have a crust recipe to go with it?
GF/DF is new in my household so I’m loving your treats! Thanks so much for sharing with us : )
Try the crust recipe on her Healthy Pumpkin Pie post.

Hey Katie! I love you recipes and ive been making them a lot now because of my fried who recently found out he has an allergy to tree nuts, soy, corn, oats, and wheat! Trying to get desserts without those ingrediants is hard stuff! Thst being said, he loves your bean brownies and im planning on making cookies for him next!
Wow Katie! I’m glad I found your blog!
Just found you website and I love it!!! Thanks for the great recipes 🙂
Your recipes are amazing!! You’re helping me regain a healthy body, and I’m loving oatmeal again!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!!
I’m desperate ! I love mixing gas station cappuccinos with my coffee, usually 3-4 oz of each. I hate all the sugar and chemicals. I have tried making my own coffee creamer but haven’t stumbled onto a good recipe yet. I want natural, low-glycemic sugar options and gluten free. Do you have any suggestions or resources ? ? ? ? Thanks !
I’ve been meaning to play around with my “ice cream recipe” and see if the un-frozen mixture would make a good creamer…
I use the So Delicious brand coconut milk coffee creamer in the 32 oz tetra pak (the original flavor has little sugar). Where I shop, it’s near the powdered coffee creamers, but I’ve also seen it near coffee at different stores. There are also the refrigerated coffee creamers with almond or soy milk at most grocery stores now, though, I think those are higher in sugar. If you want to make your own, I bet a cashew milk or canned coconut milk coffee creamer would work well… add sweetener, extracts or spices to create different flavors.
Someone at work made orange chocolate chip scones the other day that were amazing! I thought of you — perhaps you can make something similar healthy. 🙂
I so much love your desserts!but it would be nice if you could get some more meal ideas
And maybe even some snacks!
Hi it’s Olivia again!
I love your candies! Especially your mounds bars!
