*The bars may seem high in fat, but their fat comes almost exclusively from the almond butter, meaning it is heart-healthy fat, with less than a gram of saturated fat and NO trans fat. It also means the bars are lower in carbs – if you use oat flour, almond meal, or oat bran, they can be completely flourless.
Nutrition information is based on each of 16 bars and includes the chocolate chips on top (not in the batter). Gram measurements were used for calculations when given for an ingredient. Brown sugar, spelt flour, and almond butter were used for calculations.
