Protein Hot Chocolate

This high protein hot chocolate recipe is just as rich and creamy as classic hot chocolate, and it's packed with over 35 grams of protein!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (30g)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice

Instructions

  • Stir the chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, milk of choice, and sweetener in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over low medium heat. Once boiling, turn the heat to low and whisk constantly to dissolve all of the chocolate mix into the milk. Serve your protein hot chocolate recipe hot, topped with whipped cream or mini marshmallows if desired.
    Alternatively, you can combine all ingredients in a blender or shaker cup, blend until smooth, and serve cold.
