Substitution Notes: I haven’t tried this recipe with steel-cut or quick oats, so I don’t know if they can be subbed. Any nut butter can be subbed for the peanut butter. Or use Sunbutter or Pea Butter to keep it allergy-friendly. I would guess carob powder can be subbed for the cocoa powder, but I’ve never tried it.
