Hi Katie,
I made the boatmeal for the first time tonight and it was fabulous! I poured half the batter into a ramekin, spread a bit of natural crunchy peanut butter and a little flax seed then topped with the remaining batter. Oh so delish! Thanks for your great recipes and ideas! 😀

Hey Heidi! I actually just dreamed that one up, so I haven’t gotten to make it yet. But when I do it, I’m going to use the “Cinnamon Roll” recipe listed above, but I’ll sub chopped apple for some of the applesauce, and I might use 1-2 T coconut butter as the optional oil part :). If you make it before me, let me know what you think!

I just wanted to say that my whole family and I LOVE LOVE LOVE boatmeal! It has become a morning favorite. I have added smashed banana, blueberries, chocolate chips, coconut, peanut butter, etc etc (not all at once, of course!) and even my most picky of all picky eaters 4 year old gobbles them up. I make them in the mini muffin tin for the little fingers in my house. Thank you!!!

Hi Katie! I just stumbled across your blog the other day and am super excited to try your recipes! Your pizzerts, single lady cupcakes and cookies, and boatmeals all especially caught my eye! I have a question…Do you think cooking a boatmeal in the microwave would work? Thanks!
I think it would! I’ve never tried it, but I bet it would work… it wouldn’t get the “crust” on the top from broiling, but it should still taste good. If you make it, let me know how it works! 🙂

Hi there. I made these yesterday with cinnamon and freshly-picked blackberries. YUM! They’re such a great grab-and-go breakfast! This morning I made the recipe x 4 and used a mini muffin pan to make 12 little blackberry oaties. Thanks so much for the great idea!

Hello,
So thankful I found your site. looks like good healthy recipes and I love to bake. Needless to say with my 3 boys grown up, don’t need to be eating all I bake. So glad I can make healthy good food and still be baking and sampling…and be in the dropping some pounds mode. Thanks a bunch!
