Question of the Day:
If you had to choose, what is your favorite type of Halloween candy?
Mia (Mia in Germany) says
Oh, my, those rice krispies ghosts are so cute! I think I have to make some, to give to the kids who might show up here.
Thanks for this splendid idea!
Halloween is a young phenomenon in Germany, so I don’t have a favourite halloween candy 🙂
Hollie says
A lot of these look pretty simple to make as well. Thank you for sharing!
Carrie (This Fit Chick) says

My favorite candy has to be m&m’s! There are so many different kinds you couldn’t possibly get tired.

All of these look so delicious!! I love the healthy options because I can’t go this time of year without eating candy 🙂 Thanks for the recipes!

I’ve never liked fruity candy. It’d be one Laffy Taffy and I’d be done. Then it’d be time to move onto the good stuff: the mini Crunch bars, the Krackels, and the Mr. Goodbars! MMF. Really any of the chocolates I was down for, though I’d always give aways my Almond Joys and Whoppers.
And for some reason, I always loved those little white candy sticks that come in the small Marvel character boxes. My parents always called them candy cigarettes, but I don’t think they were. Anywho, so plain, so DELICIOUS.
Linda @ The Fitty says
My favourite type of candy to get period is Hershey’s cookies n cream white chocolate! I mean, who can beat that?!
Christina @ The Beautiful Balance says
Sign me up for the peanut butter buckeye bars! They look so fudge and rich!
Medeja says
I would like to make all of them! 🙂
Jules @ WolfItDown says
You always dish up such great recipe collections, and those treats like the bomb! Especially the buckeyes (love the name!) and the inside out Reeses! 😀 x
Aisling says
Okay that peanut butter fudge WILL be mine. Yum. I love peanut butter flavoured candies, but they’re not very popular in England!
Rachel D. says
I’d have to say, as a kid, it was always a toss up between those black-or-orange-wrapped peanut butter chewy things and peanut butter eye balls!
These days, though, I usually just stick a ghost peep on top of my hot chocolate. 🙂
Love this list, as always!
Jennifer @ Show Me the Yummy says
Thank you, thank you, thank you! My favorite thing in the world is candy, so these healthy twists are amazing to see. If I had to choose just ONE candy bar? I’d have to say Reeses. But I love anything peanut buttery, minty, sour, fruity…see. I have a problem!
Monique says
We don’t celebrate Halloween over here in the Netherlands unfortunately, so I have no favorite Halloween candy!
But oh, I love these Snickers and Twix bars! I made them myself some time before but the problem I come across often is the chocolate “sauce” is too thick. How do you deal with that?
Unofficial CCK Helper says
That particular recipe is a guest post, so it is best to ask Leanne (link in the post) for advice and troubleshooting. Good luck!
Kathryn says
It’s nice of you to be CCK’s unofficial helper. 😀

Your healthy butterfinger recipes are the bomb.com! So sorry I haven’t been around as much as I used to be BTW. I now have a 13 month old who keeps me insanely busy! I barely have time to breathe, but I love him fiercely!
