Hi Katie, I linked back to the Vitameta Vita-Mix post on my blog! I am so excited. I am going to make some fudgie babies tomorrow and blog about them. I will let you know when I do. Oh, and by the way, interesting little story. I have been walking most days on my lunch hour at work for the past year. A few weeks ago I had attempted to take up jogging, without much luck. Then 2 weeks ago I was walking my usual route and stopped a jogger to ask her how long she had been running. Long story short, I have a new running buddy. She runs for University of San Diego and has been running for 7? years I think. I went running with her the last 2 weekends. It is so very exciting for me to be pushing myself. You are a great inspiration to me and between the two of you, I believe I can do it.

Although my favorite is the peanut butter flavored babies I would make the chocolate fudge babies first with a little twist which I left on the page. Needless to say I entered:P. Thank you Katie Your blog inspired me to nix junk food and start eating more healthy.

Cashew Cookie Baby, for sure!

I love Lara Bars. L.O.V.E. But, at $1.60/pop they are not particularly cost efficient for a Chocolate-Covered lover on a budget.

The Vita-Mix 5200 would allow me to 1. create my beloved Lara Bar favorites (in particular Cashew Cookie) on the cheap! Here’s some math: Let’s say I eat 6 Lara Bars/week. That’s about $9.60, but we’ll round to $10.00 for the sake of easy multiplication. So $10.00/week, 52 weeks/year = $520.00. For that amount, I could purchase my own Vita-Mix! Or I could donate to my favorite charity, ala Katie. Or I could purchase a plane ticket to visit my family in Arizona (I live in PA).

I’m confused, you aren’t very clear, enter here or the fudge baby page?

I’d say the pb cup or mounds.

I’d love a vitamix. not sure what I’d want to make first. Probably try a green smoothie first or ice cream.

I posted on the Gingerbread Baby post…aka the best baby there is!! I make the gingerbread in my magic bullet and can only imagine how much they’d improve if I had a Vita Mix! And contrary to popular belief…I think these babies are so much more than a holiday treat but winning a Vita Mix would DEFINITELY be like Christmas in January!!

Hi…I’ve entered and would love to win the Vita-mix. I believe it literally prolonged my sister-in-law’s life when she could only eat through a feeding tube since it allowed her to skip the preservative filled hospital preparations and instead blend up her own healthy organic foods. I have been a fan ever since.
