Yesterday, I went for an especially enjoyable run– the weather was warm and sunny, with a cool breeze. After the run, though, I was hot and hungry… now, what could I eat that would cool me off AND replenish my fuel storage??????
Vegan ice cream Sundae to the rescue!
Now, since I was double-tagged, I’d better fill out this little survey:
1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
- I was 11, so I guess I was finishing 5th grade and getting ready for scary middle school.
2. Five favorite snacks?
- chocolate pudding or pie
- roasted butternut squash
- oatmeal
- Clif Z bars
- peanut butter
3. Favorite things to do?
- Moving– power yoga, playing tennis, running, walking with my dog, etc.
- Scrapbooking/being creative/decorating (such as decorating cupcakes!)
- Reading– literature, newspapers, blogs, etc.
- Hanging out with my friends/family
- Writing– letters, poetry, fiction, journal-writing
4. What would you do if you were a millionaire?
- Make huge donations to all my favorite charities
- Start a vegan fast-food franchise that would put Mc Donalds out of business (a girl can dream, can’t she?)
- Move to a mansion on the beach!

You are so young!…
.. and you have warm weather..
great little survey here. I think a vegan mcdonalds would be amazing.. and I believe we’ll see something like it in the next 10 years!

First off, I love your blog!
I’m a Texan girl who was recently transferred to Colorado, and if you ever come my way…there is an awesome vegan fast food place you should check out called VG Burgers. http://www.vgburgers.com They are located in Boulder, and you would love them. Their hemp milkshakes rock!!!!
Vegans in TX could sure use a place like that. 😀

that sundae looks too cool for school. i love berries with ice kream. i also love that you would start a vegan fast food chain. we had a place in Tampa called Evos that had vegan fast food items (and a lot OF VEGETARIAN ITEMS like corndogs)and also air fries that were baked vs. fried. i miss that place.

Sundae on a Tuesday. Wow. That’s a genius post title, right there!
Since you’re such a great cupcake decorator, I bet you’re fabulous at scrapbooking too! 🙂
I LOVE your answer about buying lots of vegan food and giving out samples! You have excellent taste buds, judging by your recipes that I’ve tried, so I’m sure you could win a million people over if you gave out yummy samples.
I want a vegan ice cream sundae now! (Except I’d want a chocolate-covered one!)

That sunday looks PERFECT. I want one!
Also – someone should make you a millionaire.

That sundae looks so good. I’m very into berries right now (weird since it’s not berry season). I am now craving ice…on pancakes….with berries. Yum…

Sounds like a nice way to culminate physical activity, sundaes after running might just convince me to run! 🙂
Those quizzes are a lot of fun!

MUCH better than a superhero. Oh yes. It looks like a lovely way to simultaneously wind down and get revved up!

Perfect way to finish off a workout 🙂
Okay, so you need to start buying lottery tickets (I will too) so you can open up that vegan fast food place! You have such a good heart….

Haha Nothing says ‘pick me up’ after a jog like a Sundae.
Hey, I’ll go in on the vegan franchise with ya! Anything to put that evil fast food joint out of business!

If I’m ever in trouble, I hope Vegan Ice Cream Sundae comes to my aide.
…and now I want ice cream. The good/bad thing about working in a supermarket is that I tend to just bring things home after work. Looks like tonight is an ice cream sort of night.

I think you dream of putting McDonalds out of business is awesome. I won’t even drive in the parking lot by them. I certainly don’t want anyone to think I support them. Their commercials directed to children are so bad. Ok, off my soap box. I think you sundae sounds great! Gee where was I 10 years ago? Hmmm.. Now I feel old. hehe
I hope you try the roast. It really is so verstile and has great taste!

It’s always so much fun to learn about other bloggers. Loved the snacks list (how you sneaked a veggie in there!). And of course that sundae is nothing to sneeze at! (I’m drooling a little).

I love love love the google searches that lead to your blog… rolling on the floor laughing…

MMMmmmm…soy cream. I think I’m a food addict because I stuffed myself with fried tofu at an Asian buffet at lunch. And now three hours later, I’m drooling over your ice cream. Maybe I should start going to those Food Addicts Anonymous meetings…
BTW, the fast food idea is great! I’m so jealous of all you other commenters with veg-friendly fast food in your towns…
Bonnie says
Thanks for your comment! Mmm, I’m still drooling over that sundae.
You could totally come over for a high tea, but you know… that’s a long flight :o) I will make sure to get some pictures, though! I just hope the weather won’t be too gloomy. Also, I haven’t started baking anything yet, so I should probably get to that!

Mmm… looks yummy! I was in the mood for ice cream recently, and made a homemade batch in my new ice cream maker… came out great. Will be blogging about it soon! 🙂
