It’s a Chocoholic Giveaway!

Love Shmove.

Everyone knows the real reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day: it’s a great excuse to unapologetically consume exorbitant amounts of chocolate. So whether or not you buy into the manufactured holiday, don’t miss out on the chance to stuff your face with chocolate treats.

Most likely, you can already think of about a million ways to celebrate. Or ten million, if you’re as in love with chocolate as I am.

(But I don’t think that’s possible!!)

v day 10

Here are some ideas: Healthy Chocolate Recipes.

The above recipes are healthy ideas to treat yourself, so you can be good to your heart while still treating your tastebuds. Most of them are also pretty easy and quick to make! However, just in case you feel like doing absolutely no work today, I still gotcha covered…

sweet riot chocolate

Every day, I get quite a few email offers for product reviews, and I have to turn most of them down. But when the Sweet Riot company offered to send samples of their new chocolate bars, I certainly couldn’t turn those down!

First and foremost, their chocolate is awesome because it’s fair-trade. It’s also vegan and gluten-free. I really enjoyed the 85% bars—the taste reminds me somewhat of Magic Shell. (My roommie gobbled up all of the little 70% squares. She appreciated the fact that they’re only 20 calories per square.)

sweet riot chocolate bars

It’s been awhile since my last giveaway, so how about a quick chocolate giveaway in honor of Valentine’s Day Chocolate Appreciation Day? (Every day should be Chocolate Appreciation Day.)

This giveaway is now closed.

Congratulations to Madi.

I’ve emailed you!

This chocolate looks AMAZING!!! I love a good quality dark chocolate bar, there’s truly nothing like it in the world. Chocolate Appreciation Day is more like it…I spent all last night making chocolate-covered strawberries for my friends and family. One of my friends texted me and said “don’t eat all the strawberries before you have a chance to give them to anyone!” And I said “oh, that’s not a problem…the real problem is this big bowl of melted chocolate!!!” 😀

  13. allison says

YUMMO!!! Chocolate is one of my most favorite words! I would be so excited to win some chocolate and experience this companies goodies!

  14. Erin West says

I’m a big fan of chocolate, especially trying new things/recipes with chocolate. I bought a bar in Switzerland a few years ago that was 97%. Yes, it was as insane as it sounds. Being taught the proper way to each chocolate that rich was fun. I think it took a year to fully eat that bar, as one bite at a time was enough.

  15. Sarah says

I love your blog–I’ve been recommending it to all my friends! So far I’ve made 3 variations of the cookie dough dip and the fudgy brownies.

  16. Melissa says

I would love to try these bars. I have a very tricky stomach and I have to stick to a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, corn-free just to name a few. But the one thing that gets me through it all is good quality chocolate. Please choose me!

My daughter just turned 5 on Friday and she and I share our love for the dark chocolates. If being vegan meant giving up my chocolate it would have been an issue. Great chocolate recipes Katie! Sara and I have tried several that you have shared. We always look forward to your posts on FB.

  20. Kelly says

  59. dara says

    Hi Katie,
So your German chocolate balls morphed into another concoction yesterday…
My good friend wanted to make her own chocolate covered strawberries for V-day. She thought up the idea to make Smores Strawberries (not sure if there is a recipe like this online but as far as I know she came up with these on her own). She stuffed strawberries with a marshmallow/graham cracker mixture and then covered them in dark chocolate. Yum! Picture here: https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=3374498966257&set=a.1552211210202.2071451.1382798185&type=1&theater&notif_t=photo_comment_tagged

ANYWAYS, she likes to multi-cook/bake when in the kitchen. I saw her put walnuts and dates in her food processor (assuming she was making your German balls because she is an avid follower as well) so I asked her what she was making and to my surprise she said, “I dunno.” Then I said. you could make a similar version of Katie’s GCCBs if you add a little salt and vanilla with some cocoa powder (I forgot to say “coconut” too but read on…)! She ran to her pantry, grabbed all of that and blended it all. Also to my surprise, she wasn’t too thrilled with the taste ( I think she doesnt like dates) but I was in heaven and had stop myself from eating it all. My dear friend saw how much I enjoyed these she she rolled and surprised me with bliss… she added coconut flakes on her own without knowing the recipe calls for coconut and then dipped them in the melted chocolate and then rolled them in coconut.. all for me for Valentine’s day! They are aWeSoMe! and thank you for the recipe!

One more thing, I saw the endangered spices chocolate bar on here one day and though how I would like to try it. Then I just happened to find a few bars at our local Sprouts (similar to WholeFoods)! I was super excited!

    Ok, enough for now.

I hope you are having a wonder Love day! Remember, friends and family count as Valentines too!
    Love you,
    D

  60. Kendra says

Wow, these look delicious! I would love to win them; I could definitely use them to bake with, since vegan chocolate can be so expensive:)

  61. Katherine says

Chocolate! Woohoo! Oh (and slightly more coherently), I made your deep dish cookie pie the other day for my omnivore dad and he loved it. He couldn’t believe how healthy it was compared to most desserts. And it was so quick to make!

  62. Kelly J. R. says

I was at a restaurant over the weekend and they had their tables decorated with cutesy stuffed animals for Valentine’s Day. My elderly friend said, “Now what would you do if someone gave you one of these for Valentine’s Day.” and I said, “I would tell them to take it back and buy me some chocolate!” LOL.

  63. Renee Loy says

I just got back from Whole Foods and I am going to be making your Chocolate-Pumpkin Pizookie for my mom’s Valentine’s dinner tonight….it will just be the two of us but what the heck…it’s Valentine’s Day…splurge a little 🙂

  67. Lily says

Hi Katie, I made your Chocolate Bar Pie for my beloved this Valentine’s Day. I came across this recipe and wanted to pass it along to you.

    Serves 4
    http://shine.yahoo.com/shine-food/genius-recipe-two-ingredient-chocolate-mousse-173200947.html
8 ounces chocolate (we used 70% bittersweet – choose a high quality chocolate you love)
    3/4 cup (6 ounces) water
    ice cubes
freshly whipped cream for topping (optional)

    1. Simply pour water into a saucepan. Then, over medium heat, whisk in the chocolate. The result is a homogenous sauce.

    2. Pour the chocolate mixture into a bowl set over an ice bath, then whisk the chocolate sauce, either manually with a whisk or with an electric mixer (if using an electric mixer, watch closely — it will thicken faster). It will thicken and strands of chocolate will form inside the loops of the whisk. Pour or spoon immediately into ramekins, small bowls or jars and let set.

    3. Note: Three things can go wrong. Here’s how to fix them. If your chocolate doesn’t contain enough fat, melt the mixture again, add some chocolate, and then whisk it again. If the mousse is not light enough, melt the mixture again, add some water, and whisk it once more. If you whisk it too much, so that it becomes grainy, this means that the foam has turned into an emulsion. In that case simply melt the mixture and whisk it again, adding nothing.

    4. Serve immediately, or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Save and print this recipe (and see what others are saying about it) on FOOD52.
    )

  68. Mariah says

You’ve definitely changed my opinion towards healthier desserts. Thanks!

When I subscribed to other recipe blogs in the past I basically just looked at the recipes. Thanks again!

I am vegan and I live in an area that is definitely not vegan-friendly; we only got our first Trader Joe’s three months ago (it has been amazing) and searching for vegan chocolate is even more difficult! Whether I get those bars or not, I think I will check the company out as I am always looking for new vegan options where I live!

  97. Agne says

Aaaahhh!!! Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!!! Yuuum! It is such a shame that we do not have this brand in my country, because it sounds sooo good – vegan, gf and fair-trade. Oh I wish I could taste them at least once (dreaming) :))

Thank you, Kate, for showing such a tastiness, but my taste buds are now quite mad on me, because I do not have any chocolate nor cacao in my dorm, oh no! :((

Anyways, happy Chocolate Appreciation Day! :))

  98. Jacqueline Fisch says

Chocolate. They say men think about sex every 3 minutes, for me it’s chocolate. I put it in my morning green smoothies, have some dark chocolate after lunch and end my day with a few dark squares and a glass (or 2) of red wine. I don’t remember the last day of my life that I did not consume any chocolate! I would LOVE to win some and taste these babies!

  99. Melissa says

  107. KellyO says

I absolutely love Sweet Riot. Especially the little squares. Somehow eating a bunch of the little ones is not the same as eating a whole big bar. Oh logic… Great giveaway, as per usual. 🙂

  108. Rhonda says

I love chocolate! Now it’s even harder to love, since I’m battling food allergies. Could this chocolate really be good for me?!?! I’d be willing to try. 😉

  109. Cara Johnson says

College student budget+healthy eating=lovessss free CCK things:) you are wonderful and appreciated!

  110. Emily says

It is not hard to want to comment on this post! Katie. You should pick me. I’m 9 months pregnant and wouldn’t pass up free fair-trade, vegan chocolate if my unborn child’s life depended on it! Okay… maybe that’s not entirely true. But my little hitchhiker and I would be delighted to enjoy those bars. Thanks for doing a giveaway and keep up the great work. <3

  111. Alex@Spoonful of Sugar Free says

    Happy Valentine’s Day, Katie!

Too bad they are not unsweetened 😛 But I love the packaging, and I’d really like to give these to my dark-chocolate loving momma!

  112. Debbie says

Your chocolate recipes are the best!! Whenever I go to Whole foods I buy a little tin of the sweetriot nibs. They don’t last long.

  113. Karlee says

Yumm I would love to try these! I always look like a crazy lady in the candy aisle because I read every single chocolate label to make sure they are vegan.

  114. natalie @ southern fit foodie says

I am happily celebrating chocolate appreciation day! I think we should all eat a little something chocolate every hour, don’t you? 🙂

I would LOVE to win those sweetriot bars!

  115. Cara says

    KATIE! 🙂
I am officially addicted to your blog. My husband, friends. neighbors, relatives and soccer team can all attest. At least I admit it…Anyway I LOVE your creativity and shared love for guiltless decadent desserts that my tummy and my body can fully enjoy! Nutrition is a huge part of my life and you make recipes that I can share with my husband that he can love and have no idea the secret goodness I am giving him ( he couldn’t believe the beans I sneak into desserts!). You are so appreciated and I hope I can encourage you in your life! With that sad, college students+eating healthy+a passionate love for desserts=a deep and great love for free gifts and giveaways! SO GREAT.

  116. Anna @ The Guiltless Life says

Ooh I’d love to enter – those bars look yum! I love 85% cocoa chocolate, that’s always what I eat – and when you said Magic Shell it was like magic to my ears. I once heard it’s easy to make a ‘vegan’ Magic Shell as it is coconut oil that hardens as soon as it hits the ice cream – is that true (maybe it was you that I read that from haha!)? If so I have got to get on that because Magic Shell is that special something from my childhood that I really miss now I am mostly sugar-free!

  117. Sapphire says

I would SO love to win! 🙂 My eldest son loves chocolate, and I’d love to get him newer bars to try, but living in rural West Virginia, the only plain chocolate bars we can get are Hershey’s, and I don’t really like buying those for him for a myriad of reasons.

  118. Katelyn says

Chocolate Appreciation day… What a PERFECT way to think of today! Much more optimistic (and delicious) than singles awareness day! =)

I would L-O-V-E to win some chocolate any day, but today would be especially nice 😉

  119. Frida says

Screw Valentines day, I’m forever alone, and I love the idea of a Chocolate Appreciation Day! *munches chocolate and shakes fist victoriously* Count me in ;D I follow you on Facebook too! Hope this sweet contest is for non-US citizens as well 🙂

I love chocolate but RARELY eat it. When I say rare I mean a handful of times a year! This is one treat I don’t think I could turn down however….They would be wonderful in your chocolate bar pie!

  121. cateline says

  123. Brian M says

I have always liked 70%+ chocolates since I can’t really eat a lot of sweet stuffs all at once or I would get nauseous, so I would love to try some of those new chocolates! 😀 I also like the packaging too, quite unique. Hehe

  124. Erin says

I completely agree! Valentine’s Day is all about the chocolate, an excellent excuse to indulge a bit.. especially vegan giveaway chocolate;)

  126. Lena says

Oh boy oh boy! I would love to try these, they sound amazing. I’d be torn between using them for your chocolate bar pie I’ve been planning on making and between just eating them straight out of the package… thanks so much for doing this giveaway, Katie!

  127. Lane says

Chocolate give-a-way? YES PLEASE! Yummy yummy yummy! I have only had a couple of types of vegan chocolate, so trying these would be AWESOME!

But this will do too. 🙂

  134. Margaret says

    Hi Katie!
I love your blog….I have dates and cashews in the pantry just waiting to become fudge bites. Keep up the great work and thanks for all things chocolate!

  136. Elizabeth says

Chocolate! Also, must thank you many times over for two of your recipes in particular: your chocolate bar pie (well, just the filling in my case), and your mint chip shake. My life has suddenly improved drastically due to the presence of those two things. Even better when combined… Thank you, and happy Chocolate Appreciation Day!

  137. Emily says

Wow-I love how low calorie that chocolate is and it looks YUMMY!!! Hope you had a good Valentine’s Day! I know that I enjoyed some chocolate dessert today and I hope you did too!

  138. Megan says

Those bars look amazing. I am definitely for celebrating Chocolate appreciation day (however, that is usually everyday for me!)

  139. kt says

    Hi Katie,

I love your blog, and I love chocolate- so if you are including canucks in the giveaway please count me in. I made your german chocolate fudge bites to give to family for valentine’s day, and they have gone over very well!

    Cheers,
    another Katie

  140. Maryam says

I have to say, I might be right up there with you with my love for chocolate 😀 I’m totally going to try some of your recipes! And winning this yummy giveaway doesn’t sound half bad either, especially since the closest thing I have to a valentine right now are my college textbooks!

  141. chocolate girl's chocolate mom says

Oh, my. I just checked out their web site. Too many choices!
I’d love to try a sample before I commit to filling my shopping cart.

And thanks so much for the boatmeal recipes. I’ve always made a family-sized recipe of baked oatmeal, but it’s nice to have your options for single servings.

  142. Chrisia says

Happy Valentíne’s to all the chocolate lovers!!! Thank you Katie for the amazing recipes and thanks to Sweet Riot for the giveaway. These chocolate bars sound and look so good! I’m just imaging how they taste! Sweet day everybody! =)

  143. Roni Yager says

This is my first time seeing your site! I’m so excited to try some of your recipes!! I am a choco-holic and hate that it always seems to come with unhealthy effects! Thanks!!

    Happy Valentine’s!

    xxx

  145. Karen Hanes says

I recently discovered your awesome blog and have shared it with all my momma friends. I’m not vegan but have adopted non-processed healthy food habits to be a good example to my 18 month old daughter and I really appreciate these ideas so we can truly enjoy our food. She LOVED the chocolate mousse I fed her before bed tonight and I felt great knowing she was getting a healthy dose of protein and loving her treat with mommy. Keep up the great work spreading food joy (and our mutual LOVE for chocolate)!!

  146. Jessica says

I’m making your deep dish chocolate chip pie as I type! I’d love to get my hands on that chocolate too! Yum, looks good! 🙂

  147. Cheri says

I’ve been gluten free for two years. Now I’m dairy free and egg free. I guess soon I will be vegan too!
Making big changes in your 50’s in a BIG deal! I’m a cook too and you are a delight sweetie!
I first saw you on the news and now I follow you on Pintrest, FB and your Blog. It’s nice to see that living well and healthy can be fun. The way you share yourself with everyone is inspiring and refreshing! You Go Girl!

  148. Aileen says

MmmMMmmMMm Dark Chocolate!!! We’d all love to win some free chocolate, definitely can’t turn that down if given the option. =) This would be a yummy treat from the Nestle and Cadbury chocolate I eat.

  149. Julia Scott says

I think you have some competition when it comes to loving chocolate. I definitely cannot live without! I love your healthy recipes. Thank you!!!!

  150. Hannah says

Those bars look so yummy! 🙂 Happy Chocolate Appreciation day! To be honest, I forgot about the Valentine part…. 🙂

  151. Jenn says

LOVE your recipes and will definitely try this chocolate whether I win or not. Always looking for good, vegan foods! Thanks for all you do!

  152. Kerri says

I tasted Sweet Riot for the first time a few months ago. WOW.
I enjoy your recipes in many ways, but a recent favorite is- I make a batch of fudge babies but do not form the balls. I keep the “batter” or fudge baby crumbs, as I refer to them, in a glass jar. I find I have better self control if they’re not all rolled up and cutie on a platter for me. Well, I took a generous spoonful of fudge baby crumbs and placed it on a serving of vanilla ice cream. WAY better than any fudge topping I’ve ever had. I’m hooked!

Thank you for your blog. I’m really enjoying it.

  153. Marla says

Huge fan here! That means I automatically win, right? 😉 Thank you for your lovely blog and for hosting this wonderful giveaway.

  154. C V says

Kt! Top o’ the evenin’ to ya from Phoenix, Arizona. I’d really appreciate these bars because I go to a sweet-obsessed school, and eating these would allow me to fit in with my friends without the stockpile of calories. Thank you!

  155. Alicia L says

    Happy Chocolate Appreciation Day Katie!

  157. collyn says

  158. Brielle says

  161. Albizia says

Happy chocolate appreciation day! That’s the day when I can say hello to chocolate as many times as I want without guilt. Someone else can take the love, I’m fine with the chocolate 😉 .

  162. Jackie says

I’ve never heard of these before. I’d love to try them, especially the little squares (even though I’d probably eat like 10)!!

  163. Mary Legare Whaley says

I do love me some chocolate…but on Valentine’s Day, I choose to wear my sweatpants and fluffy moccasins, and I eat sushi and drink champagne. Tonight is no different! Chocolate would be a nice touch, but all I have on hand right now is dark cocoa powder. Have a good one! =)

  164. Meghan Bucher says

Oh my goodness. My boyfriend definitely did not get me enough chocolate for Valentine’s day 😉 I would love it!

  165. Édith says

Mmm… Chocolate..! Never tried these 🙂

Just to say: I’m lactose and egg intolerant and I thought I had to give up dessert and pancakes forever (cause I discovered it not so long ago). Then your blog changed everything, I didn’t even thought of cooking vegan recipies before, but since i can’t eat lactose and eggs, it really makes sense!

Just want to thank you for making me able to eat things I thought I could never eat again (and without being sick!!)

  166. Emily Lombardo says

I’ve been following your blog here and on facebook for a while now, and I love reframing Valentine’s Day as Chocolate Appreciation Day! A day where I can appreciate myself by appreciating chocolate! =)

  170. Callie Roper says

Im all about chocolate, most especially fair trade!! So important that we support that. Could always use some yummy chocolate to get me through a busy day on campus! 🙂

  171. Bette Jane says

Just as we should celebrate chocolate everyday, we should celebrate love that often, too! Whether the calendar commemorates St. Valentine or not. I love love and I love love chocolate (chuckle).
Thank you so much for your passion and support for wholesome desserts. It’s really helped me transition towards veganism after three years of being a vegetarian! Not to mention your single-serving recipes that satisfy me daily need for chocolate!
    Thanks again!
    Bette Jane

  172. Natalie Anderson says

I have a secret… I know, you will probably think I’m crazy but up until last month I hadn’t ate chocolate in 10 years 🙁 I know, CRAZY RIGHT! As of last month I’ve fallen in love with Dark chocolate so winning this chocolate would help me make up for all those lost chocolate-less years of my life.

    Thanks for you post!!

  173. Matilda says

Happy valentine’s day Katie! I hope you had an awesome day and thank you always for your beautiful recipes. They have inspired me in the kitchen and have been instrumental in convincing my dad (high cholesterol eek) that healthy food can taste amazing and naughty!

  174. Heidi says

Ooooh! Yum! These sound fantastic! My daughter and I are addicted to the yummy treats you post. We love trying new and healthy recipes.

  175. Wendy says

Ooh, those look yummy! I love that they’re gluten free too. I currently have a stomach ache after my sweetie accidently “glutened” me when he made dinner last night. 🙁

  183. suzanne says

I would love to win!!! Doing lots of gluten free recently and would share with my niece who was just diagnosed with Celiac

  184. suzanne says

By the way – I made your cinnamon roll pie (minus the frosting) in a heart shaped pan for my boyz for Valentine’s Day breakfast – they loved it! Have made others of your desserts and all have been great – thanks for sharing your deliciousness!

  185. Sarah says

I LOVE that the chocolate is fair trade.
I have to admit, thinking about the amount of slave-made chocolate being sold in the name of love had me at least a little upset over this holiday.
I would be thrilled to try a new (to me) fair trade brand. Even if I don’t win, I think I’m going to *have* to check them out! Thanks for introducing me:-).

  186. Lucy Lu says

I have resently become vegan, but I cant find any half cecent chococlate bars in Scotland that don’t contain dairy 🙁 These could very well save my life…..Plz xx

oooh….chocolate bars. I live in the most podunk town – it’s rare to find vegan chocolate bars. I have to travel three hours to Chicago to get my good vegan groceries and goodies. These sound decadent!!

  191. Jenna says

My husband is unappologetically unromantic, so I did not get any chocolate for Valentine’s Day (or flowers, or jewelry). This would be a nice win. He doesn’t get credit for it, but it would be a welcomed Valentine’s surprise!

  192. Danyiel Johnson says

Thrilled to have found your blog. I’ve already made some of your recipes and only found our blog about 3 weeks ago. Also now following you on Twitter and FB.

  194. GIna says

You had me at magic shell! I cannot handle dairy, so I’m happy to find a brand that is vegan and safe for me. Most chocolate at the store has some sort of milk fat or whey, yucky. I’m excited to try this brand someday! (hopefully soon;)

  195. Laurie says

I love Dark Chocolate and those sound so yummy! If I win I will have to find a good hiding place so my kids don’t eat them all up.

  196. Jerica says

Those chocolate bars look fantastic! I am recently gluten-free (and try to stay added sugar-free as well!) so it would be great to sample a new product that won’t leave my belly aching. 🙂

  197. Christina Grant says

My daughter and I have had to go gluten and dairy free, I thought we were going to have to go chocolate free until I stumbled on your blog. We have been truly blessed by your recipes and my diasterous attempts of trying to create my own recipes….I love to bake as well as cook, but I do better at following recipes than creating them.
By the way….love your choclate frosting in a shot glass….totally reminds me of chocolate mousse!

  198. Kristie says

Oooh my roommates and I would love these! I would take the 88 and give the more sugary ones to them o:) love your blog girlie!

  199. Tiffany C says

  200. STACIE says

Yes please to some yummy chocolates!
I recently found your blog and made three cookie pie. My fiance was hesitant to try it but the next day he did and got mad at me for eating so much without him lol. He couldn’t believe it was made with chickpeas like when I make hummus. Looking forward to trying other recipes:-)

I absolutely LOVE to bake, but haven’t been able to enjoy it in quite a long time because I’ve chosen to maintain a pretty strict diet (even more recently, I’ve decided to go gluten free). I was bound and determined to find HEALTHY desserts because I knew they existed somewhere! With that said, I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when I found your blog!!! So all I can say is thank you so so SO much for these recipes!

P.S. I would absolutely love to try these chocolate bars!!! 🙂

    Katie,
I made your chocolate pecan pie for my husband for Valentine’s day. It was delicious. I have the most wonderful husband so of course I’m biased, but I certainly enjoyed my single days and believe everyone should be out on their own prior to getting married. Thanks for your fantastic blog. I love Sweet Riot products too and would love to try those new bars.

  216. Ari says

Hope you had a wonderful holiday Katie! I’m not single but neither I nor my boyfriend had any desire to celebrate V-Day – why bother with the stress and the hype? He did end up buying me a book that he happened to see, but only because it is SO me: a picture book of adorable kittens! 😀

  218. Selina says

I already follow you on twitter and facebook, AND I get your posts via e-mail which is how I see this post! I love chocolate like you do and I think your sugar free cookie dough dip is AMAZING. Thanks for all the awesome recipes!
    Selina

  219. Deanne says

I love dark chocolate, especially if it is vegan and from a sustainable source. That makes it ever sweeter and more satisfying. I would love to try these!

  220. Jeanette says

Hi Katie, I am new to your blog, newsletter and facebookpage (Love them all). I am not vegan, but I love to try new receipts. I am a chocoholic but since everything I love has about a million and one calorie and is quiet unhealthy, I am very curious about your receipts. I already bought everything for the Naughty Girl Fudge and I will definitely try the Chocolate Frosting Shot. I have recently started to follow a low-sugar (no-sugar….if I can manage it) lifestyle change. Thank goodness I stumbled upon your website. Yumminess abounds! However, I crave chocolate….I’d like to try these bars at 70%…..I will have to check and see if my grocery store carries them…..

    Hey ms. Katie! 🙂
I just found your blog this week; I’m already following you on twitter now, too. 🙂 My friend made your vegan cornbread recipe and it was phenomenally good. She started describing your blog and I was practically drooling just imagining it. It’s even BETTER than I imagined!!
Winning chocolate wouldn’t hurt, but either way I know I’ll be crafting up some of these amazing desserts very shortly. 🙂

Thank you for all of the wonderful information on your site. I am new to the clean eating/vegan cooking style and your site has been a wonderful resource. I have even slowly been incorporating your recipes for my super picky husband and chocoholic 5 year old, i feel better knowing exactly what is in his treats. Thanks again!

CHOCOLATE! I’ve been buying a lot of bars at the grocery store register lately…those little bitty fair trade squares at whole foods are pretty darn good!

Is it too late to enter? I’d love to win these!!! I didn’t get any chocolate on Valentine’s day (which should be against the law!)

And to answer your question about being single or relationship, i’d have to choose relationship. Being single has many many perks, but i just get so lonely!

I made the deep dish chocolate cookie cake 2 days ago (and just ate a slice) my husband who is a super picky and opiniated eater, gobbled down TWO slices before I told him what it was made from! He was shocked and so were my guests! I’m looking forward to making some fudge babies tomorrow for my lil man and hubby! Hope you had a wonderful Valentines day!

I have just fallen in love with your website! You have an amazing gift and I’m so glad you share it with us. I can’t wait to try some of your tasty creations. How cool that you can share chocolate too.

  243. Jessica says

Chocolate is my favorite. Honestly it is. All kinds but mostly dark chocolate. My husband and I keep chocolate in the house at all times. Usually high quality, incredibly tasty stuff where you can have a bite or two and it will satisfy the craving for something chocolate. When it doubt, we always have chocolate chips as a backup.

  244. Sharon says

I really would love to have the Chocolate Bars. I love Chocolate too, but I am trying to lose weight and I do not get to eat it very much!!! PLEASE!!!

  245. peanutbutterprincess says

My husband would have to start a chocolate bank in our house and dole them out to me tiny piece by tiny piece. Who knows, I might even find it on myself to share them….but I wouldn’t trust the odds if that happening. Would LOVE to win these!

  246. Emily says

Sounds like a lot of chocolate! I don’t know if that’s a really good thing or a really bad one. Oh well, I’d love to try them!

  247. Emi says

Katie! Your blog is awesome and I need chocolate!!! (I know you probably pick randomly, but sucking up can’t hurt, right? It is awesome, though.)
Will it help if I tell you I made *Chocolate* Snickerdoodles from your recipe? With pictures? (And we’re on to bribing, now…) 😀

  248. Tricia Y says

I am so glad I found your blog through a pin on pinterest! My original hotmail email address was chocoholic 🙂 I would love to try this chocolate- the darker the better, yum! I now want a food processor so I can try all of your awesome recipes. I just love how simple they are compared to other healthy recipe sites that are complicated and use a bunch of weird and expensive ingredients you’ll never use again.

  249. Anna says
