Welcome To Your Healthy Breakfast Month!
Start off the new year right, with a nutritious and exciting breakfast!
Healthy Breakfast Month was so popular in 2014 that I’ve decided to host it again! This month on Chocolate-Covered Katie, you’re going to get ONLY breakfast recipes!
If you want to see the recipes as soon as they are posted, you can choose (for free) to get the recipes delivered straight to your inbox:

All recipes will be posted on the blog as well, and the “menu” for healthy breakfast month is not yet set in stone. So if you have any suggestions for breakfast recipes you’d love to see, please feel free to leave them in the comments of this post. 🙂
Danielle {Styelleish } says
Yay! Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, so I am looking forward to this month! I’d love to see oatmeal recipes!
Joy says
Do you have any waffle recipies planned for this month?
Abby says
My mouth is watering just looking at these! I’m so excited about this whole month! 😀
Do you have any biscuit recipes? A biscuit recipe this month would be wonderful if you have one! 🙂 I can’t take the large amount of fat my mom makes in her recipe for biscuits. I would love to have one that’s healthier if that’s possible! 😀
Claire Elizabeth says
Please, please, PLEASE provide single serving options! 😀 This’ll be great! Can’t wait to see the recipes! God bless! 🙂
Jan says
There are some great ideas here! In our house we often eat baked sweet potatoes for breakfast. We bake them the night before and leave them in the warm oven. Accompany with caramelized onions, broccoli – whatever your imagination and palette come up with! BTW – there is lots of credible research that says that onions are excellent for bone health!! Thank you for this wonderful resource, Katie!
Mia (Mia in Germany) says
Sounds like a great month to come 🙂
Lia says
Thanks soooooooooo much Katie! Your breakfast recipes are the best; can’t wait for your cookbook!
Marg says
Wonderful. I am getting so tired of my ‘usual’ breakfast. the pictures of your breakfast recipes look so good. I made your “Reese’s Peanut butter Cup Baked Oatmeal” yesterday and it was excellent. So looking forward to this months breakfasts.

Ooooh! Yes very excited! I used to skip breakfast in my teens and early twenties, but now it’s my favorite meal of the day! Always love your breakfast ideas, Katie! Intrigued by the yummy-looking filled coconut shell bowl pic. Can’t wait!
Hailey says
These all look AMAZING and I’m excited for this!! Would love if you could do an oatmeal recipe and also some muffins!
Liv says
Hi!
I have a request. For breakfast Ive found that only protein (eggs f.ex.) keep me going for more than an hour. Is there any chance you can design something tasty, simple and protein rich for breakfast (yet healthy and sugarfree)?
Id be in your debt 😀
EVA says
I’m kind of burnt out on granola bar recipes (I’ve personally seen TOO many on blogs a’many!), but that biscuit/english muffin-looking picture at the bottom if the collage is what I’m all for!
I know you have a TON of on-the-go breakfast recipes, but that is truly what I am needing. Extremely easy, little and cheap ingredients, and super filling as I need it to last me through a 6 hour no-breaks shift at work. It’s a task that a slab of almond butter can usually fix, but I need some low fat options for my poor gallbladder!
But I’m so glad you’re bringing Breakfast Month back as that is mainly what I use your site for (yes….I’ve known to eat the crustless pumpkin pie and blondies for breakfast….SO WHAT?!). Let’s do this!
Molly says
I love breakfast! All those pictures look amazing. I would love to see single serve pancake recipes.
Lillian Hughes says
One thing I have been looking for is a healthy version of the old iced Hostess honey buns. I figure some type of a donut dough twirled and iced?
Leslie says
I can’t wait! These all look delicious.
Lucy says
These all look scrumptious! The 3rd picture is especially intriguing. I would love to see a chocolate covered granola recipe- granola is one of my favourite things to make, so versatile and delicious. Can’t wait for the recipes!
Sherry S. says
Happy New Year!
And thanks for the breakfast inspiration. I was just thinking to myself yesterday that I’m getting bored with the same breakfast every morning (steel cut oats). Just looking at all the photos in your post, all I can think is… YUM. Can’t wait to try some of these recipes. Thanks, Katie!
Linda @ TheFitty says
OooooOOOhhHH la la! I love this new series. 🙂
Lisa @bitesforbabies says
These all look delicious!! I’m a BIG fan of eating sweets in the morning…I think I get rid of all my cravings for the day that way, although that is not the actual reason why I prefer sweets in the morning! I’m definitely going to add some of these recipes into my repertoire! I usually alternate between these for breakfast:

so many yummy breakfast treats! yay!

I love your posts and recipes. My only concern from the pics of breakfast ideas is that they all seem to have some type of sweetener in them. I gave up any kind of sweetener( artificial and natural) about 4 months ago and I would love to see some breakfast recipes that don’t have a sweetener in them
Marg says
Just wanted to let you know that I just received your cookbook from Amazon. Everything looks so delicious that the hard part is to choose what I will make first.
Tara says
Yum! Savory oatmeals would be great… using nutritional yeast, tahini, etc.
Looking forward to your cookbook so much and the convenience of having your recipes in one physical place!

SO excited for this! Is a vegan + healthy croissant recipe too good to be true? 😉
Emily says
All these look delicious! I would be interested in a few easy savory breakfast recipes. Maybe even savory oatmeal.
sara says
could you do no yeast cinnamon rolls?
Julia says
I would love to see a chocolate brownie recipe! Like who wouldn’t want to eat a fudgey brownie in the morning? Also, it would be cool if you could make some type of no bake recipe or a really quick recipe for people with busy schedules!
Thanks!
Kristina says
Suggestion: Chocolate Chip Cappuccino Cupcakes?
