There are thousands of recipes on this website – recipes for every type of healthy dessert you could possibly imagine, from chocolate chip cookies to Mint Chocolate Chip Nice Cream.
And there are thousands of people searching this website each day for recipes that fit their specific dietary requirements, whether they be gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, paleo, high-calorie, or low-calorie. Since I’ve already done a post focusing on some of my higher-calorie recipes, today’s post is a response to all of the reader emails and comments I’ve gotten asking what recipes would be the best options for those on a lower-calorie diet. For all of the calorie counters who read this blog, or for anyone in search of a low-calorie recipe to make for themselves or for others, below are ten healthy recipes that can have just around 100 calories each:
1. Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bars – 103 calories each

2. Unbaked Cookie Dough Bars – 104 calories each
3. 100 Calorie Chocolate Cake
4. Cream Cheese Swirl Pumpkin Bread – 98 calories per slice

8. The Best Vegan Brownies – 90 calories with frosting
9. Healthy Banana Bread – 92 calories per slice

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your 100-calorie recipes! No shame, I would have some chocolate cake and zucchini brownies for breakfast one day. I definitely would need to try your healthy banana bread though! It’s one of my family’s favorites!
I noticed a lot of you recipes contain chocolate chips. Is there a brand of sugar free choc chips you recommend?
Have you tried Lily’s? http://lilyssweets.com/

The thing that impressed me the most is oatmeal chocolate fudge bars.
You are really awesome, Katie.
I have the download of Hello Breakfast, but I can’t seem to find the Cream Cheese Swirl Pumpkin Bread recipe. Am I missing it somewhere? Looks great!
I am so sorry for the trouble. Going to look into this immediately, as the bonus pack should have sent out automatically to you. What email address did you use to purchase, or what is the last name, so I can look up if the bonus pack didn’t send out?
(I can delete your comment after you write it, but if you don’t want to put that info here at all, just email it to chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail)

Hi,
I love many of the 100 cal desert recipes. Before making some I was wondering whether the portion size is the same as an equivalent higher calorie item? Or are they 100 calories because the portions are small?
Thanks!
From my experience with some of them, they are comparable in size, or you can eat double or sometimes even triple the amount for the same calories 🙂
