My New Cookbook Is Finally Here!

**For the month of December (2023), I’m donating all proceeds from sales of my book to the World Central Kitchen Ukraine relief fund.

hello breakfast recipes

It’s finally available!

A Chocolate Covered Katie breakfast ebook, filled with over 50 healthy new breakfast recipes – both sweet & savory.

I’ve gotten so many messages and comments these past few months from readers asking when the new ebook would be coming out, and it was really hard not to say anything… I think I’m more excited about this breakfast ebook than I’ve ever been about anything else on the blog.

Hi! Is this book ebook only, or will there be a physical copy available at some point? I would love to have a paper copy!

      • Chocolate Covered Katie says

Hi! This one is available exclusively online (the biggest advantage being that you receive it instantly without having to wait). Unfortunately there’s only one format available, but I can send you a print-out copy if that works better. I also completely understand if that isn’t what you’re looking for.

        • Kirsty Derrins says

Hello Katie would you be able to send me a print out copy aswell. The screen on my phone is too small. Thankyou xx

          • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The closest thing we have is a PDF printable version that some readers are getting so they can print it out and have a “hard” copy to hold in their hands. Would that work at all?

            Jason (media relations)

          • Jason Sanford says

Hi Yvette! Do you mean a printable pdf copy that you can print out to make it a hard copy? (We do have those, if so :))
            Jason (media relations)

        • Hannah says

I just mistakingly purchased the book, thinking I was getting a physical copy… are you still able to send out a printed copy? Thank you for your assistance. Our family has so enjoyed your first cookbook.

        • Sonja Louw says

          Hi Katie

I ordered and paid for the recipe book weeks ago and never received anything. I emailed you, only to discover it was a no-reply address. Apologies for posting here as I love your recipes, but could you please let me know who to contact in this regard? Thank you

        • Carolyn Dorr says

Paper copy for me too please ! Sincerely Carolyn ( I also emailed you!) thank you for the wonderful recipes !

        • Beverley Kensler says

Hello I purchased your cookbook and can not find your homemade english muffin recipe. Can you help me please? Thank you

          Beverley Kensler

          • Jason Sanford says

Hi! It’s in the bonus pack 🙂
I am going to re-send it to you now, to ensure you still have it and don’t have to look for it. If you don’t see an email within the next few minutes, definitely let me know!
            -Jason (media relations)

      • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The closest thing we have is a PDF printable version that some readers are getting so they can print it out and have a “hard” copy to hold in their hands. If that works, just get the book and I will look out for your email address and send you the printable copy ASAP (it’s no extra charge).
Or if that wasn’t what you meant, then no worries either way, and thank you for wanting the book in the first place!
        Jason (media relations)

  2. Whitney says

    So happy for you, Katie!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, can you do a physical copy, too? I’d buy the physical copy in half a heartbeat! But I don’t really like e-reader books, because my computer can be funky with downloads, sometimes, I don’t always trust it. Besides, I LOVE having your pretty, pretty books sitting on my shelf, ready to be flipped through. It makes my shelf sparkle!

    • Chocolate Covered Katie says

I completely understand, and trust me, I wish there were another format too. The best I can do with this book is send anyone who wants one a print-out copy. I wish there were a different format too, but when all publishers insisted on another dessert book and I had my heart set on offering breakfast recipes… I had to find a way to make this book happen no matter what 🙂

      • Whitney says

Katie, you’re so sweet. If I want a printout copy, how do I go about getting one from you?
Thanks for the reply! You make my day!

      • Amina says

Good for you Katie! An eBook is a great way to get your work out there without dealing with Publishers. I’m enjoying my copy – I find putting it on a tablet or phone makes the eBook more accessible. Congratulatons!

      • Maureen Schmidt says

        Katie,
Love your work, love your name (my daughters) love your photographs, love your food. I gave my daughter (who, by the way, also loves chocolate) and my daughter-in-law copies of yr book and they love making healthy food for their children.
I also love hard copy books (even their smell) so I think you should find a publisher who respects your wishes, and since you’re paying, YOU ARE THE BOSS! Good luck finding the right publishing company for YOU!
All the very best on your culinary journey.

        • Jason Sanford says

Thank you so much for such a sweet comment (and for getting the book!). It means more than you will ever know.
          -Jason (and Katie)

      • Carol says

Katie, please make your next book, one that is Heart Healthy, (no, or little cholesterol, and no sat fat?). It would be a very much needed one! Thanks in advance! You do great work, and I have found much!!

        • Jason Sanford says

Hi, they are definitely still available! It’s a pdf version that people are getting so that they can print it out at home and have a copy to hold in their hands. If you do end up getting the book and want a printable copy as well as the e version, just reply here or email us and I can send it to you right away (it’s no extra charge) 🙂

          Jason (media relations)

      • Lila says

You are amazing. I also purchased thinking I was getting a physical copy ( I have your first one—it’s fabulous!) and a printable copy would make it so much easier. Can you send me the pdf version as well? I’ve already downloaded the ebook & looked through it and can’t wait to try some of the savory recipes especially. Sorry publishers aren’t helping you get this one out there in print—if you ever do get a print copy of this published, I would buy it again just to have a beautiful & convenient hard copy to read & use, and will likely buy a couple extra to give as gifts.

        • Jason Sanford says

Hi Lila, I am emailing you right now so let me know if you don’t see it within the half hour
          Jason (media relations)

          • Ashley says

Hi! I’m wondering if it is still possible to purchase the ebook and have a PDF file emailed to me. If so, will you please let me know? Thank you! Ashley

  3. Melanie says

I can’t believe you’ve kept the second book a secret! I thought we would hear a heads up about pre-orders or something. Nevertheless I am excited! As Sondra and Kathryn expressed, is this an e-book only or will there be physical copies available? I am very interested in all of the healthy breakfast recipes you’ve come up with but for $20 I would really like to hold the book in my hands.

      • codettta says

I really wish you could print it out and send it here in Australia. Just printed it out but black and white hold no candle to colour. now to look for a binder

      • sonia says

I really LOVED almost all of the breakfast recipes that I made from your website, and i would really love to get this book in a printed copy! How could i get that? Also that nutella bread looks AMAZING! I cant wait to try it! Thanks so much Katie!

  4. Ashley says

How exciting! I remember you mentioning that you were working on another cookbook (I still want the first one) and now it is here! I have been wanting some new breakfast ideas, so this would be perfect. Congrats on the new book!

  5. Heidi says

Congrats on your new book Katie!
I do prefer actual books but I’ll still buy this one. I would like a paper copy to give my mom though as she doesn’t do tech stuff.

  6. Tiffany says

I purchased a copy and absolutely love the cookbook! Thank you, Katie!

However, I would love to know more about a printable copy.

    Thank you!

  7. Awdur says

    I am SO convinced!!!

P.S. I made your pumpkin blondie recipe TWICE last weekend (and ate over half of them myself, heh). Aaannnd I’m planning to make it again this weekend. 🙂

  8. Maran Blair says

I have never commented before but I check your blog all the time and tell lots of people about it. I love your recipes. I would love a print out version if that’s possible. Thank you.

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, you can definitely buy without paypal! If you click on paypal (on the purchase screen for the book) and are not logged into a paypal account, it will transfer you to a page that gives you the option to pay with a card.
And if you want, after that, I can send you a copy that you can print out 🙂

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, if you mean other sellers besides paypal, as long as you are not logged into any Paypal account, if you click the Paypal link when it asks you to pay, it will take you to a place where you can pay with any credit card even if you don’t have a Paypal account. (The book isn’t on amazon.)

  9. Tonia says

I bought this straight away, but I’m having trouble locating a recipe.

Page 71 under casseroles is an amazing looking photo. I want to make it but I didn’t see a corresponding recipe. Can you tell me the name of the dish and where to find it?

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, the photos on the “chapter” pages are just stock photography that the designer who put the ebook together added. Sorry for the confusion!

  10. Marguerite Longtin says

Oh, I wish this was a real book instead of an downloaded version. It is difficult to have fond memories of an ebook- no smutz on the pages from making that memorable birthday breakfast, etc.

    • Chocolate Covered Katie says

I really wish it too. I’m still trying to get publishers to see that a non-dessert book is what people really wants to see. So far, they’re only offering a book deal for another dessert book, but I refuse to abandon my dream. Had to find a way to at least get one book out in the meantime 🙂

  11. Cath Campbell says

Hello Katie, I just downloaded your new cookbook! I am so excited to add it to your other one in my collection. Can’t wait to try out some of the recipes… Thank You, thank you, thank you!

  12. Alpine Pedestrian says

I personally am glad it’s an ebook. It helps cut down on the physical clutter of my small place, and I find ebooks just as usable as hard copies. Thanks for the ebook version!

    • Julie Dove says

This book will only be available in the one format. At least it means you can get it immediately! (Silver lining.) We really wish there were a hard copy, but unfortunately publishers right now are only interested in having Katie do dessert books even though she knows her audience would prefer a book that encompasses more than just dessert.

  13. Suzanne Meier says

I just bought the online cookbook but would love a printable copy as well if you don’t mind sending. Thanks!! Love your recipes

  14. Sherry says

I don’t know what planet I’ve been living on (or maybe it was just a really well-kept secret) but I didn’t even know you had a new cookbook coming out this soon!

I’m so excited! Literally just yesterday I tried out your pumpkin breakfast pudding (for breakfast, naturally, LOL), and it was tasty and very filling. And I am a HUGE fan of the chocolate donuts from your first cookbook (and any family members who have visited me have loved them too). And during the summer I fell in love with your one-minute cinnamon coffee cake microwave mug recipe (it became a bit of an addictive snack).

So I adore the idea of even more breakfast recipes! I can’t wait to check it out, Katie. Congratulations on the publication of this new book. That’s really fantastic.

  15. Sherry says

P.S. I don’t care that it’s an ebook – I’ll definitely get it, especially if it helps show your publishers that these kinds of recipes are just as awesome as dessert recipes and a physical book is something we would love.

Besides, haven’t they heard of yummy brunch and breakfast-related cookbooks like Vegan Brunch by Isa Chandra Moskowitz of Post Punk Kitchen? What’s not to love about breakfast foods (savory or sweet)? It’s awesome any time of the day!

  16. Sherry says

P.S. again. 😀 Since I’m a meddlesome web designer (*GRIN*)… now that you’ve got two books, you should have a Books page in your main navigation menu, to highlight both your physical book and your new ebook, with links to where they can be purchased. That way even as this blog entry gets older and moves down the page while new blog posts take center stage at the top, your books will always be easily findable via the main nav menu, in case people want to buy a copy (or buy another copy!), or check out your offerings if they’re totally new to the site. Just my unasked-for 2 cents! 😉 <3

    • Julie Dove says

I think this is a great idea. It looks like Katie has the book on her sidebar now, so it sounds like she has been listening too!

    • Julie Dove says

This one is only in ebook format, which means you can get it instantly and without paying shipping :). But sadly it will not be in Costco like the last one was.

  17. Mia says

Congrats on getting your own way 🙂 Don’t do what publishers expect – do what people like about you, that’s why we’re here, right? I got a copy but really also would love to have a printable version.
Thanks for your good work! Love that you’ll put a part of the earings into charities.

  18. Mary Manteuffel says

    Julie,
Does Katie use soy in her recipes? They look delicious. Does she have a substitute for oats? Have an intolerance to them. Thanks so much, Mary

    • Julie Dove says

All of the recipes in the book will have a soy-free option 🙂

Some do use oats – You can try substituting rolled quinoa flakes or kamut flakes or even spelt or rye flakes (check out Eden brand). Let us know if you experiment!

  19. Mellie says

The recipes look yummy! I’m interested in a hard copy as well. I like to plan digitally but then prefer the hard copy when I’m actually cooking.

  20. Thalia says

I just bought the e-book version of Hello Breakfast. Can you please email me a version that I can print out?
    Thank you!

  21. Kassie O'Brien says

Hey, I love your recipes here! I have your first cookbook too, and I am on the same page as the many others who wish it was available in print. When you say that you can send a copy to us, what would that look like? Just printed out pages or would it be bound, or something else? Thanks!

  22. Kate says

Did anyone else have the page freeze and time out as they were completing their purchase? I want to make sure I don’t accidentally buy the book twice before I try to go back. Thanks!

    • Julie Dove says

I just checked and it doesn’t show anything for your email address, meaning it somehow didn’t go through. (If, for whatever reason, it shows up twice later, just email me!)

  23. Sara S. says

Congratulations!! I love your blog and your first book and hope to try some recipes from this book in the future! I was wondering, are the chocolate Squarbar protein bars a copycat version of the official Squarebar? I love them and would love a diy version!
    Thank you!

  24. Michelle says

I also made my purchase, but could I pretty please get it emailed to me as well. The recipes look amazing. I can’t wait to try them ALL!

  25. kaytee says

Hi Katie, I for one think you made the right decision. I make your dessert recipes occasionally, but I eat your breakfasts everyday!

  26. Alanna says

Katie, quick question — is there any time limit for how long the book will be available? I was thinking of saving this for a Christmas wish list idea for family members who will want to do something but are not well-off at present. But if the book will no longer be available by mid-December or so, I’ll just buy it for myself. 🙂

      • Heather says

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed not only your website, but also your Chocolate-covered Katie cookbook. You have a unique talent to provide mouth-watering, & most importantly recognizably titled recipes that are made with easy to find ingredients. I’ve been anxiously awaiting for your second cookbook Hello breakfast in print format at Amazon.com. Although I would much rather have recipes that I’d like to keep in one book, I don’t want to miss out on any recipe in Hello Breakfast. I am not a morning person but looking at the titles of these recipes just might change that! Count me in-please also include me in the print version as well. Your recipes are fantastic! They are well worth what I will pay, even including a high-quality binder to exclusively keep them in. I don’t care what recipe you come up with, if it can be made healthy, I’m interested in looking at it. Please don’t get discouraged, Ms. Katie. If there are enough recipes that interest me I’ll buy it-in whatever format is available!

        • Julie Dove says

Thank you so much for such kindness. Katie is really, really hopeful that her next book will be available in hard copy. This particular book unfortunately isn’t going to be available on amazon or in hard copy, but we are so hopeful for the next one!

  27. Mary says

I’m glad you guys say these recipes look good and whatnot, and I agree that they do look yummy, but Healthy? Nope. They’re NOT healthy. Low fat? Anything with those words tacked on is NOT good for you. Not only do you NEED fat, you need MORE fat than carbs! So if you replace the fat in a recipe with a carb source like applesauce, you’re not only not making it healthy, your making it UNHEALTHY!
Also worth mentioning-The cholesterol found in egg yolks and butter is the GOOD kind of cholesterol, and in egg yolks, you also get LOADS of vitamins and minerals.
Also vegans worry about getting enough calcium. Well guess what: No matter how many of those non-whole food calcium pills they stuff themselves with, they still won’t be getting hardly any of it! Why? Because all the vegan protein sources like beans and grains or nuts are coated with antinutrients. In the wild, animals can run away really fast or spray you to scare you away from eating them, and plants have their own defense mechanism. They don’t want their seeds to get eaten because then they can’t grow into new plants. So the seeds are coated with something called phytic acid so if you swallow them whole, they will leave your body whole too, so they can get planted in the ground. If you grind them up or slice them up into oats, they still have phytic acid in them, but now it’s not coating a whole seed, still it does it’s job of blocking digestion the way it does in a whole grain or seed: by grabbing onto calcium or iron molecules eaten in the same meal. When you eat a bean, nut, grain or seed, you’re losing any calcium or iron you eat in that meal.
So eating meat or eggs with veggies for breakfast not only provides you with WAY more protein than any vegan meal could, it also gives you more fat than carbs. Also meat and eggs have more vitamins and minerals than any grains, and with no antinutrients in the meal, your body can actually ABSORB all of them. There are no vegan breakfasts that will keep you full longer than and are healthier than meat or eggs. And you know it.

  28. Sandy says

I agree with what Mary said:
“I’m glad you guys say these recipes look good and whatnot, and I agree that they do look yummy, but Healthy? Nope. They’re NOT healthy. Low fat? No vegan argument can hold a CANDLE to that!

  29. Marisa says

Oh no! I accidentally bought two before realizing it was an ebook only, thinking I would be able to give one as a christmas gift! Any way I can be refunded for the second one??

  30. Brenda Walker says

Hi Katie! I bought and LOVE your new breakfast cookbook. In fact, I’m making the Peanut Butter and Jelly Quinoa as I type this. 🙂 I have a quick question. I made the Homemade Chocolate Coconut Butter Spread yesterday but it doesn’t say how much “sweetener of choice” to use. I played around with it to try and get the right amount, but couldn’t quite get it right. Do you have an approximate measurement on that? Also, I noticed that you are only releasing this as an e-book and that you offered to send out a printed copy. If possible, I would love a printed copy as well. As much as I love e-books, I prefer printed cookbooks. 🙂 Thanks so much!! You are SUCH a blessing to me!! Have a super day!

  31. Kassie O'Brien says

Is there a way that I can get contacted by email like other people have been getting emailed? I’d like to inquire about the copy that you could send to me — thanks.

  32. Liz says

Just bought a copy! But BOO to the publishers for making you stick to desserts.

I honestly didn’t buy your first cookbook because as much as I love looking at your recipes, it’s not the dessert ones I actually make so I couldn’t justify buying a book just for desserts.

But I would buy a non dessert book from you in a SECOND! Your green noodles are my family’s favorite, and the sweet potato chili is something I fall back on anytime I need a meal to bring to a potluck. People appreciate that there’s a healthy option among all the sweets people always bring to parties.

  33. Desi says

    Dear Katie!
I really Love what you so! Normally i Love “real books”. But today i bought your eBook and i also Love it! Is there any opportunity to get a print out version? So i can print out the things i like to cook!?
    Wish you all the best!
    Greetings from germany
    Desi

    • Julie Dove says

Thank you so much for getting the book. And let me know if you didn’t receive an email just now or if you have any issue opening the printable version! 🙂

  34. Sarah says

Hi CCK team! I’m super excited about the new cookbook as well but definitely just made the same oversight as other commenters. It would be lovely if I could be emailed a print out version as well! Sorry for the trouble!

  35. Tonia says

I ordered this book last week. Can I still get the mozzarella cheese recipe you mentioned on Instagram?

    Thank you!

    Ps Love the book!

  36. Jennifer Munson says

A little disappointed that there weren’t more savory breakfast recipes…too many sweets and not enough in the savory & casserole realm for me. Also, what is it & where is the recipe for the casserole featured on the Chapter 6 intro page (p. 71)? I was at a loss on that one. Last question – I got in on the last day of the supposed ‘bonus vegan cheese recipe’ offer and am just wondering how I get that as I am very much looking forward to trying it. Will the Creamy Cheesy Broccoli Rice recipe be included with that as well? I didn’t see it in the cookbook although the instagram post says it is. Many thanks!

  37. Dana says

I am ordering the ebook. But could you please send me a print out version too? I am old school. I like to physically hold the recipe in my hand.

  38. Christine says

I bought a copy of the e-book too, but would much prefer to have a hard copy. Is there any way that you could send me one?

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, I can send you a copy that is printable if that would work? We really really wish this one could have been hard copy, but unfortunately publishers only seem to be interested in signing on for another dessert book. There were a lot of rejection letters, and finally Katie decided to just go ahead with an ebook. Hopefully the next book will be able to be a hard copy. We really are sorry about this and wish it weren’t the case 🙁

      • Christina says

Hi Julie: Thanks for your message and for the offer. I can print a copy of the PDF, so no need to send another copy. I’m sorry to hear about the rejection letter. I would have thought that publishers would jump at the opportunity for a breakfast cookbook. Desserts are desserts, but you can do something for everyone with breakfast.

  39. Linda says

I have prepared so many of your recipes and all are fabulous! I also prefer cookbooks in hard copy as I make notes in mine, as well. When I find a recipe online, I end up saving & printing it so I can follow it easier & keep it with other recipes. Could I please get a copy via email? Thank so much!

  40. Teresa says

I’ll have to save up so I can get the new book!

I love the original, I’ve made so many great recipes from it and I always get compliments on the desserts. People can’t seem to believe there aren’t any dairy or eggs! Vegan baking was really challenging for me before I learned your recipes, and it’s made my transition to veganism so much more fun.

Thank you for everything you do! I’m happy to buy your books to support the hard work you put into this site.

  41. Tina says

Hello. I just purchased the book and would like a PDF version that I can print as well. Its such a beautiful book. I really wish that there was a printed version. Thank you

  42. Adriana says

I am also wondering about a print-version of this cookbook. How do I get one? I love your recipes! Thank you for your hard work!

  43. Sherri says

    Hi, Katie
Breakfast is my favorite but, really don’t like e-books. All of your recipes look wonderful and would love to see what your breakfast recipes are like as well. Is there any possible way I could be sent a paper copy instead. I would greatly appreciate that.

  44. Monica says

Katie, shoot!! I do not know how the quantity became “2” when I checked out, but I just paid twice somehow…….Is there any way to fix this?? Thank you and I’m sorry! But I am excited for the recipes, lol!

  45. Janis Carlson says

I just bought the copy knowing it was not a hard copy – but I assumed I would get a PDF. I don’t mind the brook format, but I’d like a PDF to read through The Kindle app and possibly print out (at least selected recipes)….so can I also receive a printable copy? Thanks! ?

  46. Sharm says

Hello Katie, I am thrilled to start trying your new recipes but I need to have a hard copy please? IMy favorite pastime is reading my cookbooks while watching Tv! Many Thanks. Sharm

  47. Polly says

    HI Katie,

I was just about to buy your book but I can’t figure out if it’s an ebook or a paperback. I’ll definitely purchase if it’s the latter. Please let me know!

    Polly

  48. Theresa says

Congratulations! Perfect timing too as I find unique breakfast ideas to be a challenge. Could I have information on the printable copy?
    Thanks so much!
    Theresa

  49. Amanda O says

    Hello:

I am hoping to please receive a printable version. I did not receive an email from you. Do I purchase the Ebook first, and then you email me printable version, or how does it work? Please advise.

    Many thanks!’
    Amanda

  50. Tiffany says

Oh no, I did the same thing. My niece in N.C. wanted your new cookbook so I just purchased it for her for Christmas. I live in Wisconsin. Now I realize it is only available online. Is there any way to send it to her? Although I am sure it is a great download I simply don’t cook. I have not downloaded it yet. Can I either get a refund or instructions on how to send it to her. So sorry I did not realize is was not an actual hard copy. Thank you

  51. Shellie schaul says

Hi I purchased this book November 26 I didn’t know it was a ecopy ! This was a Christmas gift and I never received it on my email can you please check to see if why I didn’t get it?

  52. Shellie says

    Katie,
my daughter wanted “hello breakfast” for Christmas so I went online and ordered it, didn’t know it was ebook and
I never received on my email, can you email me a hard copy, along with the ebook? She is going to love this.
    Thank you,

  53. Sally P says

I would love to purchase this book. I don’t see it available anywhere but on your website. I don’t do paypal.
    Any suggestions?

    • Julie Dove says

Hi! If you click the “paypal” link, it actually gives you an option to use a credit card as well. (Or it should… if you don’t see that option after clicking Paypal, definitely let me know, as the option should be there.)

  54. Cassie says

    Hello,
Id love to buy a hard copy (or print out) of this book.i am located in Melbourne, Australia. How do i go about getting a printed version?

    Cheers!
    Cassie

  55. R says

    Hi Katie,
I’d like to purchase your newest breakfast cookbook, but I don’t want to go through PayPal. Even if I don’t create an account, I cannot continue on without leaving my phone number, and yet the fine print states that when I leave my phone number, I am giving permission to PayPal to send automated calls and texts to my phone. I DO NOT want that! I just want your book; period.

I purchased your 1st cookbook through Amazon. Can you make this E-Book available on Amazon as well?

  56. R says

    Hello again,
I noticed you deleted my comment regarding PayPal. I very much want to purchase your cookbook (you have an amazing talent for creating the most delicious healthy desserts!), but I don’t want to go through PayPal. As I mentioned, I am not able to proceed after entering my credit card, unless I leave my phone number. (* leaving a phone number gives permission for PayPal to make automated calls and send texts to your phone). Maybe your readers don’t mind if that happens, but I find it to be a huge nuisance. I checked my email to see if maybe you had left me a message after deleting my comment, but nothing yet.

    • Julie Dove says

Hi definitely didn’t delete it! There are two pages of comments, and also we have a caching plugin so you might not see it right away but it is there and we are so grateful when someone wants to get the book! If you just click to order and then click paypal, it should send you to a screen that offers the option of using a credit card instead. Do you get that screen when you click “paypal” after clicking the link to order on katie’s blog?

      • R says

        Thanks for your reply!

Yes, I clicked on PayPal, and started entering my info. I entered credit card #, my address, and email. When I click “continue”, it is highlighted in red that I must enter my phone number. There is a paragraph stating that providing a phone number gives permission to PayPal to make and send automated calls and texts to my phone. (I googled PayPal and automated calls and apparently there has been a big controversy regarding their robocalls). Even PayPal users are finding it difficult to opt out of receiving these annoying calls and texts!

We clearly love Katie and her cookbooks, and we all seem to prefer them in paperback form. (They really are a treasure to own, and should be displayed as such!)

I hope there is a way around this PayPal glitch. Until then, I will just continue to use the currently available recipes on this site. I JUST made the Flourless Banana Blender Muffins for the first time and they are INCREDIBLE! I will be making these regularly for sure! Thank you Katie for all you do!!

        • Julie Dove says

Hmmm sorry about that! Unfortunately I don’t know how to sell this one through amazon or any other format, so the only other thing I can think that might work is a check by mail if you think that would work? Or if you have any other ideas, please feel free to email me! chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail.

  57. Jessica says

Love this book! It comes so fast too, so instant gratification is a plus. The book is worth buying JUST for the smoothie recipes alone, not to mention the cookies and the muffins! Holy batman, they are good! I just love looking at the pictures and browsing on my breaks at work.

  58. Julia Van Voorhies says

    Hi Katie,

Is there another way to pay for the book besides Paypal? I’m morally opposed to supporting Pay Pal given Peter Thiel’s political views. I love your other book and would love to get this one as well. Thanks!

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, thanks for wanting to get the book! And we completely understand about the PayPal issue. A few different options I can think of: The easiest one is probably if you don’t buy the book through the site but go straight into paypal and choose the “send money to friends” option, they don’t take a cut of the profits (so PayPal makes ZERO money from that). (Also just to mention in general, we looked into it because we were concerned about the issue as well, and thankfully at least now he apparently does not have any ties to the company, which he sold a few years ago. Neither Katie nor I would want to support his political views.)

  59. Karen says

I just purchased the HELLO BREAKFAST cookbook. Could you please send me a print-out hard copy as I prefer to have something to hold in my hands and turn pages. Thank you.

  60. Erin Carlson says

If I purchase the ebook, could I also get a PDF copy? I, too, like to have a physical copy when following recipes.

  61. Eline says

    Hi Katie,
I like your online recipes and I’m thinking of buying one of your cookbooks. But I have a question. 
Are the ingredients in this cookbook and in your previous one (The Chocolate Covered Katie Cookbook) only written in cups? Or also in grams?
I’m from Belgium, so it’s difficult to cook and bake with cups.

    • Chocolate Covered Katie says

I think most of them are cups (I fought for grams in the first book, but the publisher said no because it was a US-based book). So maybe not a good fit for you. If it helps, 1 cup spelt or white flour is around 125g, and most foods will have grams listed on the nutrition label. (Example, a jar of peanut butter will say a serving is 1 tbsp or 15g on the nutrition label.)

  62. Christina Woodbury says

    Hi,
I want to buy this and I wanted to know how you can get a printed copy. My other question is when you are telling people you can get them a printed copy are we not able to print it ourselves?

    Sincerely,

    Christina Woodbury

    • Julie Dove says

Thank you so much for getting the book! While you can technically print out the copy it gives you automatically, it would use more ink because it’s higher quality resolution. So I just sent you a link to the printable PDF that is better suited for printing. Let me know if you didn’t receive it or if there is anything else I can help with. And thank you again!

  63. Sherry Lee says

    Hi Katie,
I loved your first coookboook so much that I bought a copy for my daughter’s teacher for Christmas. I would love a print out as well. Please let me know how to get one. THank you, Sherry

  64. Rachel Schnitz says

I just discovered your blog and I am super excited for healthier recipes, especially BREAKFAST. I have been reading about others getting a printed version, and I am curious about that, very interested. My question is, does the ebook include pictures? In addition, if I get the colored version from you, would it include colored pictures?

    • Chocolate Covered Katie says

Aw thank you! 🙂 All of the recipes have colored pictures except maybe 4 or 5 and you can technically print the version it comes with, but it’s a higher resolution, so we can also send a “print quality” PDF version that uses less ink when it’s printed.

    • Julie Dove says

I think every single one in the cookbook is or can be gluten-free! If you do get the cookbook and find one that doesn’t seem to have a gf option, just email us or leave a comment here and I’m sure Katie can work on a gf option for it 🙂

  65. Susan Moore says

I ordered your new breakfast cookbook…and thought it would be a physical book. Could you send me a physical copy? Thanks very much.

  66. Anna-Lisa says

    Hey,
I would love to get a print, too.
Is that possible sending it to Germany?
Please mail me for further questions, thanks so much!

  67. Mary Kaeding says

I cant get past the paypal screen to let me purchase hello breakfast. I put my info in as a guest and then it goes nowhere. I was really looking forward to a copy of this book since I have your other book. Please help

  68. Mary Kaeding says

I wanted to purchase your book hello breakfast, but the paypal wont get past my information as a guest. I don’t want a paypal acct. but was trying to check out as a guest. Once I put in my information, it doesn’t go past that screen. Please help.

    • Julie Dove says

Hmm, that is so strange! I haven’t heard anyone else say that so don’t know what could be happening. I’m trying to look into it but haven’t found anything yet, but I will keep researching. Is it possible to try from another computer? If a check could work, we could also do that if it’s easier for you!

  69. Courtney Ajamian says

How can I purchase a hard copy of this book? I find it definitely easier to cook using a hard cookbook rather and ebook.

    Thanks!

    • Julie Dove says

Hi, we wish it could be in hard copy! The closest option we have is that some people are getting the PDF version and then printing it for a “hard” copy they can hold in their hands. I know it’s not exactly the same thing, but it’s the best option we have for this one. In any case, thank you so much for even wanting to get the book if there were a hard copy!
      Julie (media director)

  70. Christine says

Hello Katie, I have already bought your first book and I love nearly all the recipes. I would be very happy, if I could get your new one two, but there are two things I want to ask you on forehand: Is there a printed version of it available, because I do not own an e-Reader? I live in Germany, how can I get a copy ? I did not find it on Amazon.com
I am looking forward to your answer and hope there is a possibility 🙂
    Greatings from Kiel, Christine

  71. Claire says

Good Morning! I just wanted to say that I made your Healthy Apple Pie yesterday and I loved it! I wanted this breakfast book so much as I am trying to stop eating cereal. Is there a way to request a printout copy? I would much appreciate it.
    Thanks Katie!

  72. Ava says

From all of the comments I assume this is not a pdf that can be printed out? Please let me know as I would only be interested if I could print it out. Thanks!

  73. Patricia Berman says

I absolutely love you and have been following you for quite some time. I just received your dessert book, and am ordering your breakfast e-book. Can I still get a copy of the print-out version? Thank you for all the amazing recipes you’ve created. I too am a chocolate lover <3

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I tried to send an email but it bounced back. If you email chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail, we can absolutely get that to you.

  74. Lorraina says

Do you think there will be a physical copy one day? Unfortunately my laptop went to the great beyond so I would have to print it out from somewhere.

    • Jason Sanford says

Unfortunately this one just wasn’t able to turn into a physical copy. The closest we can offer is a printable version that some people are getting so that they can print it out and have a “hard copy” that they can hold in their hands.

  75. Tina in Texas says

Thanks so much Katy for all of your wonderful, healthier recipes, I have been following you for years, cooking and yes sharing some of your recipes. I ordered the book and congratulations. Thanks again love your dedication to cooking healthier.
    Keep up the Yum!

  76. Jaclyn Anglis says

Hi there! Potentially silly question. I bought this on my iPhone and I got the reciept in my email inbox. However, I cannot for the life of me find the actual book! Am I supposed to receive it through email, or is there a link I can click to find it? Or is this not accessible on my phone?

Please let me know, as I’m eager to read these recipes 🙂

  77. Christy Patterson says

How can I get a printable copy of the book. I ordered the e-book, but I want to easily be able to print out my favorites. Thanks!

    • Jason Sanford says

Thank you so much for getting the book. If you email chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail with the email address you used to order the book, I can send over a link to the print-friendly version. I can also send all the bonus recipes in case you didn’t receive them (as some readers are saying they didn’t receive the bonus recipes). Thank you again!

      Jason (media relations)

  78. Jamie Pummill says

    Katie,
I live in the D.C. area too and have been a fan of our for years. You inspired me to go vegan!
I LOVE your first book and just ordered this one as well, but I didn’t realize it was an e-book. I love having a cookbook to actually look through. Is there anyway to get a physical copy of your book? Thank you so much and keep doing what you are doing!

  79. Lisa Langer says

Hi Katie! Such a huge fan of both you and your website. In today’s blog post (May 2,2017), you are sharing what you ate in a day, and your homemade breakfast English muffin is mentioned. I remembered that I bought your 50-recipe “Breakfast Book” and paged through it looking for a homemade English muffin recipe because the photo in the post looked so delicious and tempting. I am confused because I cannot seem to find an English muffin recipe. The only muffin recipes I see have a chapter devoted to them. Is the English muffin recipe part of a recipe in another chapter? Thanks in advance for your time, and please keep doing what you do…made your homemade spaghetti-os recipe this weekend for lunch and even my BF scarfed it up and said it tasted just like the real thing…:-)

    • Jason Sanford says

I just emailed you! Let me know if you didn’t receive it (from chocolatecoveredmedia), and thank you for getting the book!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Karla, thanks so much for your comment – it really makes us happy just knowing there is so much interest in a hard copy. The closest thing we have to a hard copy for this one is a printable version that many readers are getting so that they can print it off and have a “hard copy” they can hold in their hands. If that could work, I can send it over along with all the bonus recipes. If not, I completely understand, and just know that we really wish this one could be available in a hard copy format!
      Jason (media relations)

  80. Joan J says

Oh yeah……the english muffins was another recipe I really wanted but it isn’t in the ebook? Was there a goof in the post or a mistake in the ebook? Just wondering because of the money I spent….don’t have what I thought I was getting. 🙁
Love what I have tried though!

  81. Wendy Laswell says

I don’t know what I did wrong, but I could not find some of the recipes after purchasing the e-book: the English muffin recipe, the melty vegan mozzarella, or the cheesy broccoli rice recipe. I was hoping that Jason could send me the recipes too….Pretty please! Thank you very much for the help.

  82. Aleta says

I just bought your awesome cookbook. There seems to be some recipes missing. I was wondering if I could get them emailed to me. They are the same ones as the previous posters. Thank you!

  83. Sarah says

Hi, Katie – just bought the cookbook and have a couple of questions –
    1) I didn’t find the recipe for the “melty vegan mozzarella”. Your web page advertising the book says that recipe is in the book. What page is it on?
    2) There is a wonderful picture on page 71 of the book (the section heading page for breakfast casseroles) but I didn’t see the recipe that goes with the picture. It looks amazing! What page is that recipe on?

    thanks so much!

  84. Sarah says

Hi, Katie (and Jason) – I entered the wrong email on the above comment… I ordered the cookbook via my other email address. Would also LOVE to have access to the print friendly version – the e book is beautiful! but would take a ton of ink to print. Thank you so much for ALL you do.

  85. Sarah says

HI, Katie! Thank you so much – I had the same issue with missing recipes and wanting to be able to print the book, and your helper, Jason, is VERY prompt and efficient! Just wanted to let you know that he is doing a very good job – when one attempt to get me the printable file didn’t work, he tried something else, and all that before 8 am!
The recipes look wonderful – I can’t wait to make them!
Thank you so much for all your work in developing recipes – I recommend your site to any friends of mine who discover they have food allergies or sensitivities… “If you want to make food that tastes wonderful but is on your diet, check out her site!” It is so encouraging to know that we can still eat yummy food that won’t set off the allergies!

    • Chocolate Covered Katie says

Aw thanks for such a sweet comment. And thank you for your understanding even more! We feel so awful about all the technological issues that have gone on… and are so grateful to everyone who has gotten the book. THANK YOU 🙂

  86. Janelle says

Can you please send me the English muffin, melty vegan mozzarella and cheesy broccoli rice recipe too.

  87. Caroline Heinle says

Hi Katie! Are you ever going to make a hard copy edition? I thought that was what I was buying, and although I’m still excited about my purchase, I would have loved to have a hard copy to keep in my kitchen 🙂 Love your recipes and blog, regardless! I feature your blender muffins a lot on my blog (www.fightingformyimmunity.com and blog’s instagram account’s Insta Stories: @realignednbalanced ) Such a great on the go breakfast! Thanks for all the yumminess xo

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Caroline, thanks for the kind words about her blog, and we will both check out the post. Thanks for featuring her! Frustratingly, this one wasn’t able to be a hardcover book. We really tried hard for that, but it just didn’t happen. Publishers only wanted another dessert book. We are still hopeful for the third book she wants to write (encompassing all meals) that it can be hardcover. Katie doesn’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they don’t want, and we’d be happy to give you a refund. Or I can also send a printable version of the book that readers have been printing out so they can have a “hard” copy.

  88. Leja says

OMG I always have to translate measurements to metric ones and that would be so much easier with actual book. Where can I buy this? I’m from Europe

    • Jason Sanford says

This is actually an ebook, meaning you get it instantly and without having to pay for any shipping costs 🙂

  89. Sherry S. says

    Question about the cookbook! 😀

I don’t see the Cream Cheese Swirl Pumpkin Bread or Melty Vegan Mozzarella in my Hello Breakfast ebook. Were those recipes not included? Also, in my ebook there’s a picture of a really yummy-looking casserole on the “cover” page of the casseroles & breakfast pastries chapter (in a yellow pot with a green and white checked towel or cloth napkin and purple-handled utensils), but I don’t see a recipe for it? Am I missing it or is that picture just decoration for the chapter?

    Thanks!

  90. Ria says

Can’t possibly think why publishers wouldn’t want to publish anything from you that doesn’t involve pudding. That’s just silly! Half of the reason I visit your site and make your recipes is for the great inspiring ideas to do quick and amazingly tasty vegan savoury meals.
We can’t eat pudding for all three meals if the day, surely!

  91. Kori says

Hi! like others, I seem to be missing some recipes! I got the Hello Breakfast book and in the blog post it said it included the melty cheese! I can’t find it! I would love an emailed copy if possible to save the whole thing! Let me know if that recipe was supposed to be in there 🙂

  92. Karen says

I just purchased your cookbook looking for the oatmeal chocolate chip breakfast cookies which I made once before and they were amazing. I can’t find the recipe…please help!

  93. Karen says

Looking for the oatmeal chocolate chip breakfast cookies in book but can not find can you please help me locate it?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I emailed you this morning – did you get it? Thanks for getting the book!

      Jason (media relations)

  94. zahra says

    hi
i love your recipe and cookbooks but it would be a really great thing if you would include about your diet and eating in a part of your books and also include more of it in your blog including your activity ratio i’ll be so thankfull
    please do it.
    love you katie.

  95. Alyson says

Hi! I just purchased the cookbook, and I couldn’t find the English muffin, broccoli cheese and the pizza recipe in the book? One reason I purchased it was for the English muffin recipe. 🙁

  96. Heather Tourville says

Hi – I just bought your breakfast recipe book for the melty vegan mozzerella but couldn’t find it in there? That was my main reason for purchasing the recipe book. Could you please send it to me?

  97. Kelli says

Hello! I am interested in purchasing a printable copy of this cookbook. Is there a certain email I should contact?

    • Jason Sanford says

The closest thing we have is a PDF printable version that many people are getting so they can print it out and have a “hard” copy to hold in their hands. Would that possibly work?
Sorry we weren’t able to do this one in hardcover, but hopefully the next one can be!

      Jason (media relations)

  98. Alana says

Hi Katie, I emailed you but wanted to comment just in case. I purchased for the Vegan Melty Mozzarella cheese recipe, but it’s not in the Hello Breakfast PDF e-book I purchased. I’ve been searching the internet for a really great vegan mozzarella recipe (one that melts and browns like yours seems to based on the photo), so it’s the sole reason I purchased the book. Could you please send me a copy of your recipe please? Thank you so much!

  99. Juanima says

Hello! I purchased the cookbook but didn’t receive any bonus recipes. I especially MUST have the melty mozzarella recipe! I tried emailing but haven’t heard back. Can you help? Thanks so much!

    • Jason Sanford says

I think people would consider Katie a vegan, however I think it would be impossible to be 100% vegan because of animal products in so many things we use, such as leather in cars or glue in binding of books. She also does list honey as an option in some recipes, but those recipes will always have a vegan option as well. All of the recipes in her books and on her blog are vegan as long as you use the vegan options listed. 🙂

  100. Lisa Stroud says

Hello! I just purchased your e book. I got all the recipes except for the mozzarella and the cream cheese pumpkin bread.

  101. PANORAIA HARMANTZI says

    Dear Katie hello,

I purchased your ebook Hello Breakfast but there aren’t the following recipes inside:

    Cream Cheese Swirl Pumpkin Bread
    Melty Vegan Mozzarella
    Homemade Whole Wheat English Muffins
    Cheesy broccoli rice

Could you please send them to me in some way?

    Thank you in advance,

    Panorea

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! I am so sorry for the trouble. It shows the bonus pack having sent out to you a few days ago – can you check your spam folder and see if it’s there? If it isn’t, I can try to send it from a different email and hopefully that will work!

      Jason (media relations)

    • Jason Sanford says

Just sent! Please let me know if you have any issues opening it at all, and thank you for getting the book.

      Jason (media relations)

  102. Alicia W says

Sorry to post this in comments, but can’t find another way to contact you. I ordered the ebook today, and got a confirmation from paypal that I was charged the $19.99. But I have received no link or email to tell me how to access the e-book. Can you help?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I am so sorry and just resent everything over to you. If it still doesn’t get to you, please absolutely let me know and I will try to send it a different way. Thank you for getting the book!

      Jason (media relations)

  103. Sarah says

    Hi Katie,

So excited to start making some of these recipes! Out of curiosity, are the donuts in this book based on normal size donuts or mini-donuts?

    Thanks!
    Sarah

    • Jason Sanford says

All of the donut recipes are regular sized donuts, except the banana donuts that are mini but can also be made regular sized instead. So short answer is that all are regular sized.

  104. Ann says

I just bought the e-book, and I’m definitely missing the vegan melty mozzarella recipe. I’m not sure what other recipes may be missing, but I also didn’t see an English muffin recipe (which I’ve seen others mention.)

    Can you help?

    Thanks,
    Ann

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, the closest thing we have is a PDF printable copy if you want one – it uses up much less ink than the ebook version, and a lot of people are getting that and printing it because then they can have a hard copy to hold in their hands.
No worries either way! We really do wish we could have offered this one in hardcover.

  105. Carrie says

    Hi Katie!

I just bought the book. How long until I should expect the additional recipes (Mozarella, Pumpkin Bread, etc)?

Love your Dessert cookbook and can’t wait for the next one!

  106. Mandy Ramirez says

I just purchased the cook “book” and am So disappointed that its just a download. I thought it was a book! I’m super bummed about it. It was an assumption and I bought it too quickly. Sad.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Mandy, thank you so much for getting the book, and I am so sorry for the confusion.

And please do not worry. The closest thing we have to a hard cover is a printable PDF copy that many people are getting so that they can print the book and have a “hard” copy to hold in their hands. Would that work at all? (If so, I will send it over along with all the additional bonus recipes.)

But Katie feels awful about the confusion and absolutely doesn’t want you stuck with something you don’t want. While paypal and the ebook designer both take a cut, she said she would pay their portions out of pocket if you need a refund instead. She is so appreciative that you wanted the book in the first place and wants to make this right.

I have to admit that I’m a little bummed it’s an e-book. I paid $20 for a cookbook that I don’t get to store in my kitchen. I missed that it was an e-book before I purchased it. Just a suggestion, but maybe make it a bit clearer somewhere that it’s an e-book. Now I’m wondering whether I spend the extra money to print the whole thing out? I hate using my laptop in the kitchen and don’t enjoy reading e-books at all.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Sarah, I’m the media director for Chocolate Covered Katie. She absolutely doesn’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they don’t want and said to give you a refund immediately if you want one. She is so appreciative and honored you were interested in the book if it were a hard copy (which we so wish it could have been).

Or, if you want the printable PDF version, which many readers are asking for so they can have a hard copy to hold in their hands, I can send you that copy and the Bonus recipe pack instead. Either way, we want you to be happy and so appreciate you even wanting the book in the first place, so thank you! 🙂

The article is very nicely written and the content is very good keep on sharing the articles like this Very good write-up. I certainly love this website. Thanks!

  109. kate says

    Hi there,

I’m trying to purchase the book and when I click on the link to take me to Paypal, it says it can’t process payment. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, that’s so strange… Is it possible to try on a different computer? The other option–if you are in the US and have a paypal account–is to just go to Paypal’s website and choose “send & request” at the very top. Then click on “send to friends and family” and put in Katie’s paypal email address, which is veggieprincess at msn dot com (spelled out like a real email address with an @ sign and an actual dot). If you just send the book amount there, I can then send the bonus pack and book to you manually. So sorry again for the trouble. Computers can be so frustrating.

      Jason (media director)

  110. Stan says

It’s been 10 years since I bought an e-book, and that one left a really bad taste. Due to the Adobe DRM, I couldn’t use the book while on vacation (what I’d bought it for). I don’t mind protecting the rights of the author(s), but I *do* mind losing access to something I’ve paid for. After upgrading to newer computers a couple of times, DRM-protected books won’t work any longer. That makes them utterly worthless to me.

Before ordering, I wanted to make sure I’d be able to view this (epub? azw3?) 10 years from now. If it has DRM, then never mind; I’ll wait for a paper book. Paper books don’t get pissy about upgrading your computer. 😉

    • Jason Sanford says

Sorry for the trouble! I just emailed you with a few different options that should open anywhere and never expire. We definitely don’t want the book to not be accessible everywhere. Let me know if you didn’t receive the email. I want to make sure you are happy with the book, because Katie is so appreciative that you got it!

      Jason (media relations)

  111. Celange Murphy says

I bought this today and I am missing some of the recipes in my download is there anyway that you all can send them to me? Thank you. I love your recipes ?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, sorry about that, the bonus pack goes to spam for some people. I emailed you as soon as I saw this, and let me know if you didn’t get the extra recipes. Sorry again for the trouble!

  112. Patricia Fleetwood says

Can you send me a print copy? It’s hard for me to store on my older pc.

I, too, wish for a hard copy. Tell your possible publisher how many folks are asking!!

    • Jason Sanford says

Absolutely! If you get the book, it will send out an automatic email with the ebook but I will watch out for it and can also then manually send the printable version and the Bonus Recipe pack, if that works!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! This one is actually available all over the world, because it is an ebook so there are NO shipping costs at all 🙂
      Jason (media relations)

  113. Wayne schrunk says

    Katie,
Does your new cookbook include the recipes from your first book or are they entirely new recipes meaning I need to order both?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The first cookbook is only desserts, so the two are definitely different. If you only want to get one, I’d recommend getting her second book, which is an ebook but we also have a printable version available that a lot of people are getting so they can print it and have a hard copy to hold in their hands. The second book has all of the recipes shown on this page, as well as others.

      Jason (media relations)

  114. dee says

Where is the recipe for the cheesy broccoli rice? I don’t eat breakfast so that book wont do me much good but I love your savoury recipes, are they in another book I can purchase/

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The cheesy broccoli rice recipe is actually in the Hello Breakfast ebook as well. There are some savory recipes in there, such as the breakfast scramble, melty vegan mozzarella, and sweet potato hashbrowns. Katie’s other book is desserts only, so if it’s a choice between the two, I would definitely recommend this one. Maybe in the future she will come out with a dinner book!

  115. Muriel Modder says

    Hi there,
I really want this book and like many others would like a print out as well. However, I live in Canada. Can you please send the print out to me when I purchase? Thanks so much

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The printable version is definitely available to send to Canada! It’s actually a pdf that you can print at home so it can be sent anywhere! This version is much more printer-friendly than the ebook version because it’s much cheaper to print.

      Jason (media relations)

  116. Heather says

I am quite disappointed. My high school daughter who has thyroid issues loves this web-site for all her foods-she-cannot-have-in-public. I just ordered it for Christmas, only to get an email copy of it… no internet at home. I wish that the web-designer had made the words E-BOOK larger so that I did not just spend $20 for something that I will have to print at home off of a saved flash-drive, to wrap up a computer-paper, black and white copy. Love your ideas, just sad about her face when she opens it… maybe she will find it funny?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I’m the media director for Chocolate Covered Katie, and please do not worry – Katie said to absolutely give you a full refund and to please keep the ebook and enjoy it as a thank-you for your kindness in wanting the book in the first place. Or we also have a printable PDF copy if you’d prefer, as many readers are getting that so they can print it and have a hard copy to hold in their hands. But I completely understand if that won’t work, and as mentioned can definitely give you a refund.
      Sorry again for the confusion!

  117. Tami says

Hello – I am SO interested in the “Melty Vegan Mozzarrela” that it took me here to your book… which looks fabulous! I too love the printed word, and collect cookbooks, so a physical copy in the form of a book I would love! Since it has been over a year since this came out, and there are so many comments on this, I was wondering if one is now available? And what are these ‘extra bonus recipes’ I read about? “Extra” and “bonus” perked my ears up!! Recipes look fabulous. Thank you.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! Just the fact that you’d want the book in the first place means so much to Katie. We really wish this one were available in hard copy, but the closest thing we have is a version I’ve been sending anyone who gets the book and wants it that they can print and have a “hard copy” to hold in their hands. I completely understand where you’re coming from though – Katie and I wish so much that there were an actual hardcover version of this one!

Oh, just in case, the bonus recipes include the Melty Vegan Cheese, Cream Cheese Swirl Pumpkin Bread, Homemade English Muffins, Cheesy Rice And Broccoli, PB Tagalong Donuts, and Katie will throw in new recipes to the bonus pack every now and then, as well.

      Jason (media relations)

        • Jason Sanford says

It’s a PDF version of the book, and it uses much less ink to print than the ebook version, meaning it’s much cheaper to print and also doesn’t waste much ink 🙂

  118. Robb says

Hello. I just purchased the book hoping after the original comments of the mozzarella recipe missing, it would have been added. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be in the version I purchased. Is there a way to get that?

    Thank you
    Robb

    • Jason Sanford says

So sorry for the trouble – I’m sending it out ASAP! Let me know if you don’t see an email from chocolatecoveredmedia within the hour!

I also just purchased the book but did not get any of the bonuses. They were a big reason I bought the book in the first place, so I’d really like to get my hands on them…

Sent! So sorry for the trouble – let me know if you don’t see it in your inbox within the next few minutes.

Katie if I paid for postage would you be able to send a printed copy to Australia. I much prefer to hold something in my hands .

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! We could absolutely do that, but would it be better/easier for you if I just sent you the printable pdf copy and then you could print it, saving postage altogether? It would probably be much cheaper!
      Jason (media relations)

  121. Julie Anderson says

I am about to buy your e book. Can you please email me a pdf version I can then print out ? With thanks Julie

  122. Amanda says

Just purchased I get your emails and love your recipes don’t know how I missed this. I’d love a printable one as well. It’s a shame they gave you a hard time about a breakfast book it’s just what I needed right now!

    • Jason Sanford says

Absolutely! Do you remember what email address you used to get the book so I can send it out? (If you don’t want to write it here, please feel free to email me at chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail.)

Hi Katie, I bought your breakfast book when I saw the oreo recipe. But I’m having trouble downloading it to my kindle. Can you send me the pdf version as well. I’m going to keep trying so I can take my cookbook with me when I travel.

I recently made the creamy quinoa and loved it. Your recipe for chocolate banana bread muffins and the chocolate breakfast bowl are some of my favorites and in regular rotation.

  126. Heidi says

Hi Katie, Love your first cookbook and website and just purchased the breakfast cookbook. I wanted to know some alternatives to bananas (I’m allergic) for some of the recipes. Any ideas/alternatives would be appreciated. Thanks!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! The closest thing we have to a printed copy is a pdf printable version that many people are getting so that they can easily print it and have a hard copy to hold in their hands. If that can possibly work, I can send it over in addition to the ebook at any time to anyone who wants it. It’s no extra charge 🙂
      Jason (media relations)

  127. Mia says

Hi Jason, I ordered the book in 2016, but never received the bonus recipes (mozzarella, pumpkin bread. “kraft” mac and cheese). It’s possible the bonus pack got lost in my spam folder but if so, it’s not there anymore. Would it be possible to get these recipes emailed? Thanks so much

    • Jason Sanford says

Honestly we would have preferred that too! Unfortunately the closest thing we have for this one is pdf printable version that many readers are asking for so they can print it and have a hard copy to hold in their hands. Publishers wanted another dessert book, so this breakfast book had to be the ebook only, but hopefully Katie’s next book will be a hardcover as well.

Hi, Katie! I just purchased this e-book solely for the recipe for “melty vegan mozzarella” and I can’t seem to find it in the book. Could you tell me where it is? Thanks so much!

    • Jason Sanford says

  132. Kaylee says

Hi Katie (and Jason)! I am a huge fan of your recipes, and was disappointed that I couldn’t find this or several other recipes in Hello Breakfast. Can you explain why these are not in the book? Thank you!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Kaylee, I am so sorry for the trouble! There are a few recipes in the bonus pack that should have arrived along with the book but that sometimes gets caught in spam. I can re-send the bonus pack to you manually if that could work? Just let me know what version of the book you have (what recipe do you see on page 11 where the recipes start?) so I can send you the correct bonus pack!

      Jason

      • kaylee brown says

Hello, thank you for the response. I was assuming I was missing something. ON page 11 I see the recipe for the chocolate chip coconut muesli bowl (which is awesome by the way). Thank you for the help!

Sure thing! If you don’t see the bonus pack in your email within the hour, just let me know!

  133. Melanie Balkany says

    Hello,
Is the vegan mozzarella cheese recipe still included in the “Hello Breakfast” cookbook? I bought this cookbook because this was one of the recipes I was excited about but although I have searched the cookbook cover to cover, I cannot find the recipe.
Where can I find this recipe?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi just emailed you the bonus recipes, sorry for the delay! If you don’t see them within the next few minutes, definitely let me know.

Hi, emailing you the recipe immediately! Sorry for the delay – the bonus pack gets stuck in spam sometimes!

My son has severe food allergies (FPIES), but I am interested in several of your recipes. Can you tell me an approximate percentage of recipes without oats, rice, soy, wheat, dairy, corn, nuts or eggs contained in the ebook? He has several other allergies, but I can usually rework a recipe for that. We can safely use quinoa and coconut, so those are my two go-to flours. Planning to try your Oreo recipe this weekend! Thank you!!!

    • Jason Sanford says

All of the recipes in the book are free of dairy and eggs, and all have a soy-free option as well. Most have a gluten free option. I don’t think any require corn. But some of them do have oats so I really don’t know if it would be worth it for you, unless you wanted to experiment with quinoa flakes instead of oats. (Or for the baked goods that call for oat flour, experimenting with an all purpose gf mix or something.) Here’s a list of all the recipes if that can help: https://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/nutrition-facts-hello-breakfast/

  136. Kris says

I’d love to purchase the pdf form of the book or a printed version if available. Could you please tell me how to go about doing that as I don’t see it as an option. Thanks much!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I can definitely send over a PDF version. If you order the ebook from the website, it will send you an automatic email with the ebook, and I will watch out for it and can also then manually send the printable version (it’s no extra charge) and the Bonus Recipe pack, if that works. 🙂

  137. Gail says

    Hi Katie,
I bought your first book (hard copy) a couple of weeks ago and was super impressed with the vanilla ice cream recipe, it’s ace! Also it’s been a revelation how you inform us in adapting your recipes. For me it’s no wheat, Lactose free & no refined sugars). I’ve often wondered how to adapt sweet treat recipes I used to love but haven’t been able to make anymore but your book shows me how I can. I love it! Just bought a doughnut cake tin so I can make your frosted lemon doughnuts. I have seen today another cookbook you’ve released (I’m only 2 years behind, what can I say, I’m in the UK I didn’t know of your existence but I do now!! I’ve read lots of comments on here that this is an E-book only, I’ve just bought this today is there any chance, as others have asked, at being sent a PDF version to be able print out the recipes I want to make. Good luck with future ventures. Look forward to your next book. Thanks in advance ?

    • Jason Sanford says

Absolutely, sending it to you right away. If you don’t see it within the hour, definitely let me know!

I am a bit disappointed – I expected the mozzarella receipe to be included in the book. But I can’t find it anywhere. Is that a mistake?

    • Jason Sanford says

I am so sorry about that, you SHOULD have that recipe. It’s in the bonus pack that comes with the book and has a few extra recipes. Sometimes it gets caught in a spam filter somewhere before getting to its destination. I’m sending it manually to you right now, so let me know if you don’t see it within the hour!

      Jason (media relations)

  139. Lara says

    Hi there,
I have been reading all the comments – does this mean the cookbook is not in pdf form? Once I’ve bought it, can I email / leave a comment and get a copy? and – was there a first book???? thanks.

    • Jason Sanford says

The ebook version would use more ink to print, but I can absolutely send along the printable pdf as well if you get the book (it’s no extra charge). If you do get it, I can just look out for your order and then hopefully save you the trouble of having to email me, but if for some reason I miss it, just email me at chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail and I can get it to you right away.

  140. Marni says

I expected better from you than a blatant sales pitch when I clicked on a recipe link through an email. I just received your “10 healthy Father’s Day recipes” email, and you link to Oreo Brownie bars from your cookbook. I was excited to click the link and get the recipe. Instead I get bombarded with a whole slew of “example recipes” from your new cookbook and a link to put the cookbook in the cart, with no actual link to the recipe! NOT COOL.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Marni, thank you for your honest feedback. Katie made sure to stress in the post that the recipe was part of the cookbook, and every other recipe in the post is free on the blog. Unfortunately bloggers have to make a living (and things like server costs, ingredient supplies, and paying my salary cost money), and so not all of the recipes can be free, but Katie tries to make as many as possible free to her readers because she really appreciates that they read her blog.

Hi, I’m the media director for Chocolate Covered Katie, and I am so sorry for the confusion! This one is actually an ebook so should have arrived immediately without any waiting or shipping costs – I can resend (along with the bonus recipe pack that has a few extra recipes) or can also send a version of the book that can be printed if you’d prefer, because a lot of people are getting the printable copy so they can hold it in their hands. But Katie absolutely doesn’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they don’t want and it is totally fine if you need a refund instead. She is so sorry for the confusion and wants to make this right, because she is so appreciative that you wanted the book in the first place!

    Hi Katie,
The message I received this a.m. had a recipe for cauliflower pizza crust in it. I have some cauliflower rice I made in the freezer in a bag and wondered if you know approximately what the amount of cauliflower rice is needed for this recipe as you speak of four cups of florettes. I’ve wanted to make a recipe for this a long time. Thank you for the recipe. 🙂

    • Jason Sanford says

Hmm, unfortunately we’re not sure because we’ve never done it with cauliflower rice. Sorry to not be more helpful 🙁

    Thank you for your time

    Jennifer

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Jennifer, I wish we had a hard copy of this one, and we tried so hard to make it happen, but unfortunately the closest thing we have is the printable pdf. We are so appreciative that you would have wanted one if it were available and wish it could have been. Hopefully her next one will be hard copy!

I purchased this wanting all of your wonderful recipes, of course, but specifically interested in the Whole Wheat English Muffin recipe that I wanted for this weekend. I can’t find it. Am I missing something?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, you absolutely should have that recipe! And a few others as well – it’s in the bonus pack that should be sending out automatically with the book but sometimes gets caught in a spam filter en route. Sending ASAP, and let me know if you don’t see it within the hour!

Hi! Just the fact that you’d want the book in the first place means so much to Katie. We really wish this one were available in hard copy, but the closest thing we have is a printable PDF version I’ve been sending anyone who gets the book and wants to print and have a hard copy to hold in their hands. I completely understand where you’re coming from though – Katie and I wish so much that there were an actual hardcover version of this one!

I’m still hoping for a physical book of “Hello Breakfast.” I know you could sell tons of them. You have so many fans!

    • Jason Sanford says

We are working on making the third one a hard copy book. Unfortunately it wasn’t able to happen for this one and the closest thing we have is the printable pdf version, but even just the response to the ebook has been so much more than we ever could have hoped!

Hi Madely, I am so sorry for the trouble! I’ll just send you the original file (along with a few bonus recipes) and hopefully that will work better. If you don’t see an email with it in the next few minutes, definitely let me know!

  155. Don't want to give it away says

    Hi Katie!
My girlfriend is relatively new to the baking world and LOVES your blog and is always making your desserts (two of them this Thanksgiving). I’m trying to put together a thoughtful gift (your cookbook will definitely be a part of it) for her for Christmas and am thinking about getting her some jars and containers where she can have bulk ingredients like flour and such on hand when the urge to bake strikes her. She tries hard to avoid dairy, gluten, and added sugar. Can you recommend the MUST have ingredients that you need to keep on hand at all time? If you’d be so kind to e-mail me I can give you a better idea of what I’m trying to do. Thank you so much!

  156. Zory says

Hello, l don’t ebooks as l rarely use then, what can l so to get a printed copy? I just purchased your other book through amazon. Thanks!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! Just the fact that you’d want the book if it were hardcover means so much. Thank you! The closest thing we have for this one is a PDF printable version that some readers are getting so they can print it out and have a “hard” copy to hold in their hands. If that works, just get the book and I will look out for your email address and send you the printable copy ASAP (it’s no extra charge).
Or if that wasn’t what you meant, then no worries either way, and thank you for wanting the book in the first place! We completely hear where you’re coming from in regards to ebooks and wish we could have made a hardcover version of this one happen.

  157. Kris says

I just ordered and received the ebook, looks great. But it is missing your Melty Mozzarella recipe and perhaps others?
Could you please tell me how I can get that Melty Mozzarella recipe please?
    Thanks

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! I am emailing you right now, so let me know if you don’t see it (from chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail) within the next few minutes! Sorry for the omission; the bonus pack sometimes gets caught in a spam filter.

Sorry not sorry to add to these requests but if love the pdf for too. Do I need to purchase the book first then ask? How are you doing this? Thanks

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! If you get the ebook, I can just look out for it and email you the pdf version (it’s no extra charge). Or if I somehow miss it and you don’t see the pdf version shortly after getting the book, please feel free to email me to make sure I get the book to you, along with the bonus pack that has a few extra recipes. chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Kate! Because it’s an ebook and there’s a PDF version available, I think it’s actually already kindle-friendly! 🙂

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, we are so sorry for the delay, you absolutely should have those recipes. I just sent them out manually to ensure they get to you, and please let me know if you don’t see them. Sorry for the trouble!

  160. Debo says

    Hi Katie,
Just purchased Hello breakfast. Was looking forward to the Melty Vegan Mozzarella recipe. I couldn’t find it. Could you please point me to it? Per the description above, it listed it as being in the new Hello Breakfast cookbook.
By the way, your Nice choclate peanut butter ice cream is wonderful. I’ve made it with both peanut and almond butter. Both great!!!
    Thank you
    Deborah

    • Jason Sanford says

Emailing it to you right now! If you don’t see it within the next ten minutes, let me know!

  161. Jane says

I thought the book had the melty mozzarella recipe and the oreo brownie bars, but I can’t find either recipe in my copy of the book. Were they removed? Is there a way you could send them to me?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! Absolutely you should have them! What version of the book do you have (what is the first recipe in your version?), so I can get you the correct corresponding bonus pack and make sure you have all of the recipes. The bonus pack should have sent out automatically but sometimes gets caught in spam. Sorry for the delay!
      Jason (media relations)

        • Jason Sanford says

Absolutely no problem, and I am so sorry for the delay! Sending you the bonus pack right now manually, to ensure you get it, and let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes!

  162. Jane says

My mom ordered me this book and I particularly wanted the mozzarella recipe and the oreo buttercream frosting recipe. I can’t find either of these in the book. =/

  163. Birjoo says

I love the idea of the book, I will also look for it … “The book Hello Breakfast includes sweet and salty recipes for breakfast, most with gluten-free and nut-free options, and since it is an electronic book, you will get instant access to all the recipes, without needing to wait for the book to be sent “. … I am anxious to combine it with what I do today and it is working for me

  164. Mary McLennan says

I would love a printable copy as well … so many others have requested it, too!

I am especially interested in the sunshine breakfast enchilada recipe.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi absolutely I can send that to you! It’s no extra charge from the ebook – we’re just giving people both if they request it. Just to clarify, it’s a printable version readers are getting so they can print it at home. If that works, just let me know any time you get the ebook and I can send over the printable version to whatever email address works best 🙂
      Jason (media relations)

  165. Mary says

    Hello Katie,
Is your cookbook still available as a print version? I would like a copy if so.
    Thank you very much.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Mary! There’s a pdf version available that readers are getting so they can print it at home (it uses much less ink than the ebook version). If that’s what you mean, then it’s definitely still available! Unfortunately we don’t have a hardcover version of this one. I wish we did!
      Jason (media relations)

      • Mary says

Thank you Jason. Yes I would like the pdf version. I have purchased the cookbook now so will you please send it to me? Thanks,
        Mary

I would love to purchase your book. However PayPal always causes me problems. Are there any alternative ways to pay? Thank you. Look forwards to hearing from you soon.

    Lee Francis

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I am so sorry for the trouble! (To be honest, paypal sometimes gives me issues too, so I totally get it!) If you click on the “pay with paypal” option, there should then be an option on the next screen that says “pay with credit or debit” instead… does that show up for you? Once again, sorry for the trouble. I wish we had the option on our end to have it show as an option from the onset!

    Hi,
Recently found your website and purchased your new cookbook. LOVE IT !
I looked at the contents and went all through the recipes and can’t find the “Vegan Pumpkin Swirl Cream Cheese Bread” recipe.
It states online that it is included in the cookbook. Let me know how I can get it. Thanks !!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, sorry for the trouble! Sometimes the bonus pack (which has a few extra recipes) gets caught in a spam filter. I am sending it to you manually ASAP, so let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes.

  170. Victoria says

Hello, I just bought the Hello Breakfast Cookbook and it looks so great! I know I’m a little late, but I would also love a PDF printable version if that is possible please! I am a bit disappointed though, as one of the main reasons I bought this cookbook is because I found the “Oreo Brownie Bars” from the Hello Breakfast Cookbook link on your “Healthy Father’s Day Recipes!” post, as well as being the cover photo for your “My New Cookbook Is Finally Here!” post, but the recipe is not in my cookbook. I also saw the “Melty Vegan Mozzarella” in the “My New Cookbook Is Finally Here!” post, but also don’t have that recipe… Am I missing something here? Those two recipes are the main reason I bought the cookbook! Everything else looks amazing, but I am still disappointed 🙁

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I am so sorry for the trouble! Sometimes the bonus pack (which has a few extra recipes) gets caught in a spam filter en route and we’re not sure why. I am sending it to you manually ASAP, so let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes. I’m also sending the PDF copy. Thank you so much for getting the book!

  171. Barbara says

I just purchased what I thought was the cookbook for $19.99, but it gave me a pdf to download. I wanted a hardcopy. Is the pdf a bonus?

  172. Kirsten says

    Katie,
I’ve enjoyed so many of your recipes over the past five years…I just finally ordered the e-book and am getting the other book through Amazon–you deserve all the support you get. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for your time and effort in developing these recipes. I have been a lifelong chocoholic. If it was chocolate, I’d eat it; and the gooier the better! But when I found out I was diabetic, quitting dessert actually made me depressed. People would say, “No problem! Go keto!” Sure, it spares the sugar, but they use nut flours (guess who’s also allergic to tree nuts). Finding your website saved me. No joke. I’ve been able to enjoy baking again! Food isn’t boring anymore! Dessert is back! I am incredibly grateful for you (lord knows I’m not patient enough for all the experimentation). Thank you.
P.S. Is there anything to substitute for the pumpkin in your cream cheese swirl pumpkin bread? I really hate pumpkin. 😉

  173. Jessica says

    Hello,
I didn’t read these comments before purchasing and was surprised to get prompted for the ebook download after paying. I thought maybe it was an instant download to hold us over until the hard copy was delivered. I intended this as a gift. Is there anyway to cancel my order?
I am sorry for posting here, as it seems a little inappropriate, but don’t know how else to reach out.
    Thank you so much!
    Jessica

I just bought your Hello Breakfast Cookbook. The reason I bought it was for the Vegan Mozzarella. I do not see it in the ebook, so I am very disappointed. Am i just overlooking it?

  176. Jennifer says

I purchased this specifically for the Oreo brownie bars and was really excited about the vegan mozzarella but I just looked through my copy and those recipes aren’t there?? The Chocolate Chip Banana Bread isn’t included and neither is the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl Bread. I’m feeling really deceived! Why say that the book includes those recipes when it doesn’t?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I am so sorry! Those recipes ARE all included in the bonus pack that ships out with the book. Sometimes it gets stuck in a spam filter, but you absolutely are entitled to them. I’m sending it manually ASAP, so please let me know if you don’t see it, and sorry again for the delay!
      Jason (media relations)

    • Jason Sanford says

Oh no, you definitely should have gotten it! What email address did you use to get the book? I will look into it ASAP as to why the bonus recipes didn’t get to you.
      Jason (media relations)

  177. Carolyn Dillon says

Hi, I sent emails and comments, I downloaded the ebook, specifically for the cheesy broccoli rice and the cheese recipe and they’re missing?
I read it’s a “bonus pack” that I never received. If you could send it to me, that would be great. Or refund. Thanks !

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, I am so sorry for the trouble – I had sent it over as soon as I saw your email a few hours ago. Can you check your spam folder and let me know if it’s not there? We definitely want to make sure it reaches you!

  178. Mary Ann Wolfe says

I just purchased the breakfast e-book and am very excited to try the recipes. I too am old-fashioned and would love a physical copy to hold in my hands. Is it still possible to get the pdf form emailed to me. I would love that.

I am also interested in any other books Katie has produced. I was reading the comments and saw where there had been another book published that was available at Costco. Is it still available? If so, where might I purchase it? I have just recently been diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and katie’s recipes have been a god send. Any help will be appreciated.

  179. Laura says

Hi there – I love the website and recipes! I have your first cookbook and I love it, I’m interested in buying the breakfast ebook but I’ve seen that you’re able to send a pdf version of it that I can print. I haven’t bought anything yet, because I would also prefer the pdf version – how does that work? Should I pay for the ebook and then you just send me the pdf version? Thanks so much!

    • Jason Sanford says

Yes, we can absolutely do that! If you don’t see the pdf within an hour of buying the ebook, you can always message me back here to let me know.
      Jason (media relations)

      • Laura says

Hi there – Okay sounds good, I’ll order the ebook now then. So will I still have access to the ebook even though you’ll send me a pdf copy as well? Thanks so much for getting back to me!

  180. JOANN S MILLS says

I just purchased the hello breakfast cookbook. How do I get the nutrition facts and Weight Watchers points? Thank you.

  181. Connie says

I would love the pdf version also. I purchased the book, thinking this was a paper book.
I am not a fan of ebooks, but I can print the pdf version and use that copy.
    thanks!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Connie, I can absolutely send the pdf copy along. But Katie is so appreciative that you wanted the book if it had been hardcover and absolutely doesn’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they didn’t mean to get. If you need a refund instead, please just let me know, because we are so grateful you wanted the book and definitely want to make sure you’re happy!
      Jason (media relations)

  182. Sara says

So I ordered the cookbook and didn’t see anywhere that stated this is an ebook only. I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks and today realized I paid $20 for something I have to print. Please make it more obvious that customers aren’t ordering a physical cookbook.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Sara, I’m sending you an email. Please do not worry – we absolutely don’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they aren’t happy with. Let me know if you don’t see the email within the next few minutes.

    Hi!

Just bought the cookbook & im very excited. But I was looking for the vegan pumpkin swirl bread & it keeps taking me to the page with the cookbook info…but this recipe isn’t in the book? Confused…and I can’t find the recipe on your site. Any tips?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, sorry for the delay! It’s in the bonus pack that ships out automatically with the book, but sometimes it takes a little while to get to its destination. I’m emailing it to you manually to ensure you get it. Let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes!

  184. Tammy says

Hi Katie, new to your site. I’d like to purchase the breakfast cookbook but want the pdf to be able to print out. How do I go about that? Thanks so much in advance, super excited to get your recipes!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Tammy, thank you so incredibly much for wanting the book. If you just order the ebook version, I look out for it and can send the pdf. (I check email often so will probably see it and send the pdf version within an hour, but if you order the book and then don’t see the pdf, feel free to message back here!)
      Jason (media relations)

  185. Naomi Winkel says

I thought about buying this book until I saw that all it was in and ebook. I would rather spend the $25-$30 for a nice cookbook that has a nice cover and back on it. I think that if I am spending $20 there is no reason I should have print it out myself or go to an ebook for a recipe. Why would I want to pay about an additional $10 or more for paper and ink to print off a cookbook I already bought. If I want to do that I will just keep going to your website and get the free recipes. This is so wrong. I see that this post was done in 2016, there should be a real paper back book buy now that I could buy on Amazon by now. This is super disappointing.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Naomi, trust me, no one is more disappointed and sad than Katie that this couldn’t be a hardcover cookbook. If we’d had the opportunity, we would have absolutely jumped at the chance. 🙁

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Julie, if you’re on a keto diet, Katie said this one probably won’t be a good fit for you because it wouldn’t have enough keto-friendly recipes to make it worth the price, and she would want you to get your money’s worth. Maybe a future book will be more keto-friendly, but for now the free blog keto-friendly recipes are probably a better fit in this case 🙂 https://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2018/03/08/keto-dessert-recipes-vegan/

I’m working my way to a more plant based diet and have been enjoying your recipes. I was really excited to see you had a Breakfast Cookbook! Breakfast is the meal I’m struggling with switching to plant based as I’ve been so used to having eggs.

I was sad to see that Hello Breakfast is only available as an ebook, but I don’t use an ebook reader. Is there any way to purchase the PDF copy of the book and bonus recipes instead? I would love to be able to print the recipes.

    Thank you,
    Ingrid ?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Ingrid, we do have a pdf version (that readers can print at home). I’ve just been sending it to anyone who gets the ebook version and asks for it – it’s no extra charge.
We so wish this could have been available in hardcover and are so sorry not to have a hard version to offer. But if you ever get the ebook and decide you want a pdf version, just let me know and I can send that any time 🙂

  195. Becky says

    Hi katie,

i didn’t realize that this was an e-book. I have purchased it twice which is quite frustrating (the second time because I figured my book got lost in the mail.) I don’t know how to retrieve my book on line, plus I was really wanting a hard copy that I could hold in my hands. Can you please help.
    Thank you

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi Becky, I’m the media director for Chocolate Covered Katie and am so sorry for the confusion. I can absolutely give you a refund. We absolutely don’t want anyone stuck with a purchase they aren’t happy with. We wish so much that this one could have been available in hardcover. The closest thing we have is a printable pdf version that many readers are asking for so that they can print a copy to hold in their hands. If that could work, I can send it along with the bonus pack that has a few extra recipes (and refund the other copy, of course). But if that won’t work, Katie said to please offer you a full refund for the second copy too if you need one instead, because she is so appreciative that you wanted the book in the first place. Or she can donate all of the amount you spent on the second copy to charity, so you won’t feel like it was wasted money. Sorry again for the confusion, and thank you for wanting the book if a hardcover had been available. We really wish it could have been!

      Jason (media relations)

      • Becky says

        Jason,
Thank you for getting back with me. Yes, I would like to have a refund for at least one of the copies please and I would love to have the printable pdf version if that isn’t to much work. Thank you very much!!
        Sincerely,
        Becky

          • Jason Sanford says

Absolutely NO problem at all. I just want to make sure I send the refund to the right place since there are a few different people who’ve bought the book with the same last name – is it to Matthew?

  196. Gabrielle Canard says

Hello! I love CCK recipes, I create all of her free ones frequently. I finally purchased the ebook because I was really excited about the proceeds going to charity, as well as the following two recipes that are supposed to be exclusive to the breakfast ebook: potluck Oreo bars and the cream cheese swirl pumpkin bread. After purchasing and downloading, neither of these recipes are in the book that I downloaded. I am really disappointed about this. Is there something that I am missing or did wrong? If not, I would like information on a refund or even just having those two recipes emailed to me, please!

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, they are in the bonus pack that sends out within 24 hours. I can send it manually to you now so you don’t have to wait. Let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes!
      Jason (media relations)

  197. Gabrielle says

Jason emailed the bonus recipes as an attachment almost immediately after I got my ebook. Thank you so much! No longer disappointed at all. 🙂

  198. Rachel says

I bought this ebook for the melty mozzarella recipe mentioned in your vegan pizza post. I can’t find that recipe. Please let me know where to find it in the book.

    • Jason Sanford says

H! Sorry for the delay – the bonus pack usually sends out within 24 hours, so I will send it manually so you don’t have to wait. Let me know if you don’t see it!

Hi Katie my name is Patty and I was wondering why I couldn’t see the nutrition facts on your website ? it said see nutrition facts but I did not see them. Is there any way I could them please ? Thank you so much. ?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, do you mean nutrition facts for the recipes in her book? Or for the recipes on the blog? If you mean the recipes on the blog, just click on the actual words “view nutrition facts” for each recipe and it will take you to them 🙂

  200. Lisa Alexander says

Hi. I love your recipes. I wanted to try the cream cheese filled pumpkin bread so much that I bought the breakfast cookbook so I could. I may be mistaken but I don’t see it in there. I can read hard copies better so I may have missed it. Is it available anywhere? Also is there anyway that you could send me a pdf version of the cookbook so I can have a paper copy of the recipes.
Thank you for your amazing recipes.

Love the recipes in this book, but I purchased it on March 8th and never received the bonus recipes. I looked through my spam folder and wasn’t able to find it.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, you absolutely are entitled to it! I’m going to send it manually right away, so please let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes. It might have gotten caught in a spam filter on our end or somewhere en route to you!

  202. Becky Buckingham says

    Hello!
I am just checking in with you again to let you know that I never received the pdf form or how to view the breakfast book that I purchased. I would really appreciate if you would send both ways on how to view the breakfast cookbook!
    Thank you,
    Becky B.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, it looks like you might not have seen my reply before so I’ll paste it again here. I definitely can help! Here was my reply before: “Absolutely NO problem at all. I just want to make sure I send the refund to the right place since there are a few different people who’ve bought the book with the same last name – is it to Matthew?”

  203. Metka says

Do the recipes contain a lot of sugar? I love making your oatmeal breakfast cupcakes and peanut butter barks because they have no sugar in it but taste awesome.

  204. brandi says

    Hey there,
I was thinking about getting f your cookbook, but am on a plant based diet. Are your recipes plant based friendly for the most part?

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi! All of the recipes in the ebook can be plant based as long as you use nondairy milk and things like that where it says “milk of choice.” All of Katie’s recipes (in the ebook and on the blog) will always be vegan friendly because she’s personally been a vegan for over a decade 🙂
      Jason (media relations)

  205. Heather says

    Hello!
I’ve recently purchased your book and from reading previous comments on here I see that there are bonus recipes such as cream cheese swirl pumpkin bread recipe and mozarella recipes and was wondering if these were still available?
Thank you so much for the yummy recipes!
    Heather

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, absolutely you should have that. I am emailing it to you manually right away, so let me know if you don’t see it in the next few minutes.
      Jason (media relations)

  206. Brenda Pruitt says

I recently purchased the book and realized that I didn’t get the bonus recipes. Is it still possible to get them? Thanks so much.

    • Jason Sanford says

Hi, sorry about that, sometimes it gets stuck in a spam filter on the way (or at least that’s all we can guess). I am emailing it to you manually right away, so let me know if you don’t see it in the next few minutes.
      Jason (media relations)

  207. Lora Hillegass says

If I order this book, I would like a printable version. I don’t like eBooks. I print all my recipes and put them in a binder. Thank you

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Lora, we have a pdf version some people are getting so they can print at home… would that work? We so wish that there were a hardcover and were really sad it couldn’t happen for this one!

  208. Jane says

I’d prefer a hard copy of this e-cookbook. Is there any way to buy one? I like to sit down with a cookbook (I’ve got chocolate-covered Katie 80 recipes) and look through it when I’m in the mood to make something or plan out a menu. Especially when each recipe has a good picture and description along with it.

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Jane! We have a pdf version some people are getting so they can print at home… would that work? We so wish that there were a hardcover and were really sad it couldn’t happen for this one!

  209. Janet Murphy says

Katie, do you have any recipes that are vegan–no dairy/no meat PLUS no fat??? I love baking and need to have some good dessert recipes that do not include fats of any kind. Thanks.

  210. quihn says

I’m confused as to how this works, I bought the book and it’s just in a tab on my iPad, I thought it would download an actual little book onto my iPad if that makes sense, so I’m confused and I also didn’t get the bonus pack with the melty cheese which is what i was most excited for

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, we are emailing you right away. Please let us know if you don’t see the email and bonus pack within the next few minutes!

  211. Olivia Dyck says

    Hi Katie,
Just got your new ebook and am so excited to try out so many new recipes. Just wondering which page the potluck Oreo bars are on? Can’t seem to find it, and was hoping to try those out! Thanks 🙂

    • CCK Media Team says

It’s in the bonus pack, you should get it within 24 hours of getting the book, but I will send yours manually ASAP so you don’t have to wait. Let us know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes 🙂

  212. Teresa Klugiewicz says

I have your first cookbook, which I am so happy with. I would have bought the new one if it came in hardcopy. I have been reading some of the comments about having a copy sent by email when you purchase the ebook. How do I go about getting the printable copy when I order?

    • CCK Media Team says

Thank you so much for wanting the book, and we wish so much that it could be available in hardcover. The printable version is no extra charge from the ebook and I’ve just been sending the file by email to anyone who wants it so they can either save it to their documents or print off a copy at home.

  213. Teresa Klugiewicz says

I purchased the ebook, I am so excited to start baking. Would you please send me a printable version.

    Thank you,
    Teresa

    • CCK Media Team says

Absolutely, and thank you so much ❤
If you don’t see it within the next 10 minutes, definitely let me know!

  214. Daphne says

    Help.
Does the nutrition info on the keto cake include the frosting? I’ve made a single layer n will decorate that. My daughter is doing the keto plan with much success.

  215. Amanda says

Hi, I purchased the cook book earlier this week, but still haven’t received the extra bonus recipes. Are those still available?
    Thanks!

  216. Nancy Ruth Haberman says

Hi Katie, I am brand new to you and your site. I would love for you to send me print out copies of your 2 books. I also do not trust my “puter”. Please let me know also if you accept gift cards as payment and let me know the cost for the print off. I would love to have hard back book copies, but will understand if that’s not possible. Thanks Newby Nan.

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi! The closest thing we have is a pdf copy that readers can print off at home. We wish so much that this one could have been available in hardcover and were so disappointed it couldn’t happen for this book!

  217. Louise says

I don’t want a cookbook with lots of butter and fat but I love chocolate. How can I buy this book without seeing a typical recipe? Usually I go to the bookstore and browse for low calorie recipes. Applesauce for fat etc. I have a feeling that your yummy recipes are for the young crowd who likes to cook and doesn’t notice the calories.

  218. Michele says

How many cookbooks do you have available for purchase? I love your recipes and am continually printing them out but it would be easier to keep track of a cookbook.

    Thanks!

  219. Vicki Baker says

I just purchased your book ‘Hello Breakfast” and would like it in hard cover if possible.

I can’t wait to make some of the recipes I just saw.

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Vicki, thank you so much for getting the book. We can give a refund (because we don’t want anyone stuck with something they aren’t happy with) but unfortunately we do not have a hardcover version. We really wish we did! The closest thing we have is a pdf that some readers are asking for so they can print it out at home. If that could work, we can send that ASAP along with the bonus pack that has a few extra recipes. Or as mentioned, we can also send a refund because Katie wants to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

  220. Peggie says

Hi Katie! I really want your melty mozzarella recipe and would love your other recipes but I cannot afford to buy the ebook and then print it off… Is there a way to get just the mozz recipe? Could I perhaps purchase just that for less as I have to print it out myself? I am so happy for your success and this new book!

  221. sarah says

ok I’m sorry but i cant find the english muffin recipe in the new hello breakfast cookbook could you please help me out. Thanks

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi! You absolutely are entitled to that recipe. I am sending the bonus pack ASAP, so let me know if you don’t see it within the next ten minutes!

  222. Angi Metler says

I purchased the book a few weeks ago. I received a link but saw no way to download. Now the link is expired. Help.

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi we are so sorry and have no idea why it would expire! What email did you use to buy it – we can just reactivate it and put an infinity on the expiration so it will never expire for you again. (If you don’t want to leave your email here, you can also just email us at chocolatecoveredmedia at gmail. We just need the email so we can make sure to fix the correct one on the list of purchases.)

  223. Theresa says

Greetings! I hate to write this on here, but thought maybe it be seen quicker than email. I recently purchased a copy of this cookbook & didn’t receive anything via email except my PayPal receipt. I double checked my spam folder too and nothing. I would still love a copy as I LOVE all of your recipes. I still have my PayPal receipt etc if you need any verification. Please let me know 🙂 thank you!!

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi! Thanks for letting us know. You absolutely should have it! I am emailing it to you immediately, so please let me know if you don’t see it within the next ten minutes.

  224. Kristen says

Ooooh I still am part of the crowd that wishes this was in print. I want this book so bad. Your recipes are always a win!

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Anne, absolutely we can do that! If you order the ebook copy, I can then send it to whatever email address you wish, it’s no extra charge for anyone who gets the ebook.

  225. Sarah Crane says

    Good morning-
I’m looking to purchase but in PDF printable. How do I go about this? I will not use an e book- I need printer ready:) paper to flip and make notes on.

    • CCK Media Team says

That one is no extra charge for anyone who gets the ebook version and wants the printable one as well. I can just email the pdf version too :). (We really wish we had a hardcover version of this one and are hopeful for a book someday in the future!)

  226. Janet Frederick says

The recipes look delicious but I too would love to have a paper Copy version of the cookbook as well .

    Thank you

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Janet! Do you mean a PDF that you can print, or a hardback book? We do have the pdf version if you wanted one (sadly no hardcover)

  227. RH says

Can someone help me understand why this cost of the e-book keeps rising and is more expensive than the physical book that I purchased a few years ago? How does it cost $23 for something you download/email?

    • CCK Media Team says

Katie chose this price based on demand and because there are many months (including this month) where she chooses a charity and donates all proceeds from the book to that charity.

  228. Michelle Robinson says

    Hello,

I saw in other comments that a PDF of this book is available. If I go ahead and buy the ebook, can I get a hard copy too?

    Thanks!
    Michelle

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, thank you so much for the question! We do have a printable option that we can easily send to anyone who orders the ebook, no extra charge. It is something they print out at home though, not a hard copy unfortunately. We wish so much that this one had been available in hardcover.

  229. Lynda Alfson says

I am not a fan of ebooks so I would like a hard copy also. If that’s not available, a printout version would be next best. How do I receive that? Just buy the ebook and request a printable version? Thanks

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, yes if you get the ebook then we can send the printable version over as soon as possible :). I wish we had a printed/hardcover to offer!

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi! It’s savory and sweet recipes, so the savory ones can be used for any meal and many of the sweet ones (muffins, shakes, etc.) could be snacks or dessert instead. We wish we had a hard copy, but the closest thing we have is a pdf version if readers want to print it at home. (I know that’s not the same!)

  230. Linda says

Are these recipes in a hard cover book? cause I can’t stand the PDF files online that I’ll have to print out anyway, then use up all the ink on pictures

    • CCK Media Team says

Unfortunately the PDF is the closest thing we have to a printed version. The printable version does have a lower ink quality so it doesn’t waste too much ink with photos. But we very much wish it were in hardcover!

  231. Rachel says

Hi, I just ordered a copy and everything looks amazing. Would I also be able to have a pdf to print?

I have your other cookbook and I’m I’m obsessed.

    Thank you!

    • CCK Media Team says

Thank you so much for getting the book. Sending now, so please let us know if you don’t see it within the next ten minutes.

  232. Julia says

Hello there! I would also very much love to get a printable pdf of this book! 🥰And do you know if there are any more books, ebooks or hardcovers, on the cck horizon?🙏
    Thank you!
    Julia

    • CCK Media Team says

Thank you so much for such a kind comment! The pdf is no extra charge for anyone who gets the ebook version and wants the printable one as well. I can just email the pdf version too :). (We really wish we had a hardcover version of this one and are hopeful for a book someday in the future!)

  233. Amanda Vermillion says

Hi! Just purchased the ebook and was hoping for a pdf version as well.
Looking forward to trying these— the recipes look outstanding!

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, we don’t have a hard copy of this one. We wish that we did! The closest thing we have is a PDF that many readers are getting so they can print it out for a hard copy at home.

  234. Momenat sohaib says

Hi Katie, I have looked for your book on Amazon and other book stores but can’t find it. Is it possible to get a hard copy instead of an ebook. Thanks

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, we do still have a pdf format. It’s a file that we can send via email so readers can print the ebook at home, no extra charge for anyone who gets the ebook. We very much wish we’d been able to do this one in hardcover.

  235. Amanda says

I purchased this and did not get the bonus pack that I have seen mentioned. My version does not have the thin mint donut recipe in it that I was looking for.

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, sorry about that! It often takes a few hours but we can send it manually to you so that you have it right away. Let me know if you don’t see it in your email within ten minutes 🙂

  236. Amanda Mantovani (Vermillion) says

Hi purchased the e-book but it said the file was not supported. Any chance a copy could be emailed to me? Purchase date 2/12/23.

  237. Catherine L says

Hello! I’m buying the ebook now but am hoping it’s still possible to receive a printable PDF by email. Could you please advise? Thank you!

    • CCK Media Team says

Absolutely, we are sending it to you now. If you don’t see it within ten minutes, please feel free to let us know!

  238. Cathrine Birkeland says

    Hi.

I asked in the comments field for the cauliflower pizza crust yesterday but didn’t get an answer so I’m asking here as well. Just because I really, really want to make that cheese recipe next week. I didn’t get the bonus pack (with the cheese recipe) with my book order yesterday, can you send it to me? I ordered the book on this email: cathrineobirkeland@gmail.com. Thank you. 🙂

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi Cathrine, we are so sorry because we definitely replied to your comment there and also sent it yesterday morning to your email. Can you check your spam mail and let us know if you still don’t see it? I can send it again if you don’t, as we absolutely want you to have it.

      • Cathrine Birkeland says

        Hi again

Oh my, I’m so sorry for not answering earlier. Busy life. This came up again when browsing for recipes, and I just checked my email (EVERY folder) and the PDF is not there, only the book. Van you send it again? Maybe try to send it to the email above AND to my other email garacath@gmail.com? Thanks so much.

  239. Mary noble says

Wow what an awesome book and since I have a sweet tooth I can’t wait to try out the recipes! Definitely worth the paper to print the book out on 🙂 You put a lot of work into this book and are so creative!! Thanks for making this book available and hope you put out another one. Mary

    • CCK Media Team says

Hi, the bonus pack usually sends out after a 24 hour delay. I can email it to you right away, so let me know if you don’t see it within the next few minutes 🙂

    • CCK Media Team says

Absolutely! Just order the ebook version and then email us if you don’t see an email from me first. I can look out for an order from you and try to send the PDF without you having to email us first if I see it in time.
