That is so cool! I LOVE breakfast recipes! I’m soooo excited for this. And more baked oatmeal flavors!
becauseHeloves! says
Also, peanut butter pancakes, if such a thing is possible!
Olivia@ OmNom Love says
I second the peanut butter pancakes!
Freddie says
I third the peanut butter pancakes, haha.
Before I was a vegan, I used to make the peanut butter pancakes from this website:
http://thehistorykitchen.com/2012/02/03/rosa-parks-featherlite-peanut-butter-pancakes/
They were amazing! And I love that Rosa Parks used to eat them. It would be great to have a vegan (and gluten-free) version of the recipe.
Chelsea @ lil miss fitness freak says
Hey Freddie,
It shouln’t be a tough job to make those gluten free and vegan. Use gluten free flour (or gluten free oat flour if you can tolerate it). Sub a flax egg for the egg (1 tbsp flax seed to 3 tbsp water and let sit to thicken) and non-dairy milk (almond milk) for the milk. Should turn out just fine 🙂
Ali @ Peaches and Football says
I’m excited for breakfast posts!!
I’d love to see recipes for things that can be whipped up in a few minutes. I’m ALWAYS scrambling to get to work in the morning and I’d love more variety but don’t have time for pancakes or anything that takes more than 5 or 10 minutes to whip up!
Andrea says
I second this. I often don’t eat breakfast in the morning. It’s my favorite meal! I’ll often have the more in-depth recipes on the weekends or for dinner, though.
Erica { EricaDHouse.com } says
Love this! Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day.
Alexa says
SO excited about this, Katie! Breakfast is, by far, my favorite meal of the day. I love oatmeal; any chance of some delectable oats recipes heading our way?!
Sadye says
Especially if there are baked oatmeal recipes. Love making a pan on my last “weekend” day to eat for the majority of the workweek!
Bailey says
I’d love to see a waffle recipe made with whole wheat pastry flour!
Kami says
I want savory breakfast recipes. I’m going vegan for the month of January and I know I can eat oatmeal and muffins, but what about the mornings where I don’t want to eat anything sweet?
katherine says
just plain oatmeal with 1/2 cup pumpkin! Delicious
Katherine says
If you eat soy, you can make tofu or tempeh scrambles. 🙂 I don’t eat tofu much, but I LOVE tempeh–my favorite way to make it for breakfast (or any time!) is to soak it in hot water for maybe 10 minutes, then put it in the food processor with some nutritional yeast and salt and a little bit of water. Then I cook the mixture with olive or coconut oil in a pan, usually with onion and garlic, and a lot of times adding other veggies like greens. It’s also good with beans or avocado. I also like toast (usually sprouted) with avocado, hummus, seeds, sprouts–any or all of them. And you can always make various forms of breakfast potatoes. Hope this helps, good luck!
Elien says
What a wonderful idea! I love breakfast and like to pimp it up every now and then, so bring it! *sings* I’m so excited… *hum*…anyway, I’m looking forward!
D says
Please create new oatmeal flavors! But, if you’re okay with it, I personally don’t want to have to use any silk creamer in a recipe. But that’s just me.
Swiftie22 says
SO SO SO SO SOOOOO excited for this! 🙂 And I agree with Kami, could we get some savory breakfast recipes? If not, that’s okay… I’m way too excited already! 😀
Julie says
I can’t wait! Thanks Katie!
And you better believe I will be buying your book
Katie @ Peace Love & Oats says
I love that your breakfast recipes all look like dessert, but are healthy! That’s how I like my breakfast!
Alanna says
Oooh, that last picture looks especially delicious… like a chocolate variation on your breakfast pizza! I’m excited. (c: Hope you’re settled in and enjoying your new place!
Beth says
Katie, I love you and your recipes. But when I click on the link to see the recipes, I am directed to sign into a google account and then this is the message I get:
We are sorry, but you do not have access to this service. Please contact your domain administrator for access.
Cck says
Hmm that’s weird 🙁
Thank you for letting me know… Now I’m worried others might have the same problem, but I can’t seem to duplicate it.
For me, when I click on it, the link takes you to a page that asks for your email address and then you press submit and are signed up to get the recipes.
I will definitely keep looking into it.
Is anyone else (who might see this comment) having this problem?
Denise says
Yes, I’m having a similar problem — the link asks me to subscribe to your email through Feedburner, but I already subscribe, so I’m not sure what to do when I reach that page.
Cck says
Hi Denise,
That’s good…that’s what it’s supposed to look like. If you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. 🙂
Eribis says
I’m getting the same Feedburner thing…
EVA says
Yup, right here! But is the link to sign up for your email newsletter or for a collection of the newfound breakfast recipes? I obviously already get your email, so maybe this isn’t such a big deal.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Yes, I am so sorry for the confusion! You don’t need to do anything further.
Ster says
This is disappointing in more ways than one. I’m in my mid-thirties and pretty much know ‘how the world works’ by now. I’m disappointed at this stage that Katie feels it necessary to have her throngs of followers (I’ve been one for 3 years) submit their email addresses to a third-party website just so they can have access to her recipes for a month. That company will own your information forever, and in return you will know how to add cocoa to oatmeal in a slightly different ratio than you knew how to do in 2013.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Hi Ster,
I’m not sure what you mean… feedburner is a very reputable site that is used by many bloggers. (I don’t have hard facts but would guess a majority of food bloggers use feedburner for their emails.) I’m also personally signed up for emails through feedburner and can attest to the fact that I’ve never gotten onto spam email lists from them.
Meagan says
I am too 🙁
nicole says
Ditto with Feedburner
Jen says
Will the recipes not be available on the website? Why do I need to subscribe?
Cindy says
Does CCK make $$$ when you subscribe? Just speculating…
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Jen: yes they will be posted here on the blog. The option to get emails is just so people don’t have to keep checking to see when a new recipe is posted.
Cindy: no, bloggers don’t get paid per subscriber (I don’t, anyway) nor does feed burner pay us anything.
jill tees says
yes, I’m having the same problem. I can’t find a way to see the recipes. I’m already subscribed to you but I keep getting redirected to the subscription page. From the others previous comments it sounds as if you’ve already put the recipes up in advance but maybe I’m misunderstanding.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
It was poorly worded on my part. You will be able to see the recipes… no need to resubscribe :).
Jen says
Cool! I vote for more cinnamon-sweet roll flavors. Maybe peanut butter flavor? Chocolate?
Angela says
Yay Katie! This is a great idea. I’m so excited!
EVA says
YESSS I need this so badly. I’m always surfin’ ya breakfast tags for ways to spice up my frequent breakfast-for-dinner fate. I always go back to making the banana pancakes for one, which I love, but it’s a new year and time for something new. So bring on the gluten-free options, zee bananas and zah oatmeal, and I will be one grateful chick.
Sarah says
Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day so I am super excited about this! I can’t wait!
Mercer Bonney says
Please, please, gluten free… Or as much as possible. Thanks, Katie! Happy New Year!
Eribis says
I don’t really have any suggestions other then to post whatever that chocolate cookie with the bananas on top of it looking this is!
🙂
Mercer Bonney says
To see all of the healthy breakfast recipes (it’s completely free), simply click the following link: Get Free Healthy Breakfast Recipes Here
This only got me to your e-mail subscription, not to the recipes.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Sorry for the confusion. It was poorly stated on my part, and I really wish I could go back and change it in the email 🙁
If you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted.
Jenna says
Breakfast is my favorite meal! How about a few savory breakfast ideas thrown in there too. I usually do pb toast or oatmeal. Although, your blueberry pancakes have been frequent as well.
Cheryl says
Oh my goodness, breakfast is my favourite meal! I would love to see a recipe for a pancake sauce that’s tasty but not completely sugary. I love maple syrup (I’m Canadian) but two tablespoons has about 25 g of “added” sugar, which is over the recommended maximum intake for the whole day! But I would love to see something not so typical, some sort of syrup that’s tasty and low in sugar and healthy! 🙂
Tara says
I would love to see high protein breakfast recipes. I make oatmeal nearly every day with chia seeds, ground flax seeds, PB, cocoa powder, pumpkin, and as many fruits as I want (YUM!), but I would love to see some alternative ways to get a lot of protein in to start the day. Maybe tofu breakfast burritos? 🙂
Bethanny says
I second this, but I’m not huge on oatmeal (don’t hit me) or nuts and nut butters. If you could create something high-protein but is also a “normal” breakfast item (like pancakes or something) I would love you forever and ever.
Amber says
Oh this sounds fab! I love breakfast! Lots of fruity, protein-y recipes to keep me full ’till lunch, please!
alexa says
Anything with cinnamon and apples! Like apple cinnamon muffins or maybe even apple cinnamon buns mmmm
Lydia says
Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day! Really, any breakfast food, any time of day, I’m in. That’s actually been the hardest part of being vegan for my. IHOP used to be my favorite restaurant and I can’t find any vegan breakfast joints around me to replace it! But that’s ok, I make some pretty stellar pancakes (if I do say so myself 😉 Maybe some cinnamon pancakes? Like cinn-a-stack. Or baked yeast donuts… or something fruity.. I’m getting carried away haha woops! Anyways, I’m excited. Thank you!
becauseHeloves! says
Yes! Baked yeast donuts! That would be the best ever
Kelly Wang says
How about banana breakfast lasagna ???
One day I made overnight oats with coconut milk and chia seeds til it had this saucy consistency, then layer it with the bananas, finish off with chocolate shaves or cocoa powder! I guess we can develop a baked version of course 😀
Claudia (@The Breakfast Drama Queen) says
Ooh, I second the banana breakfast lasagna idea! Except I’d love to see a version with actual pasta (just to see if it works).
And I’m very exciting about the breakfast month – breakfast is definitely the best meal of the day!
Leigh says
Katie, you are my hero! 🙂 May I suggest some easy and light recipes which requires very little prep/cook time and somewhat simple ingredients?
Kelly J. R. says
I would love to see some gluten-free recipes that don’t use oats, corn or rice flour.
Emilylovesraisins says
AHHH KATIE IM SO EXCITED!! I love love love all your breakfast recipes! These plans are even more exciting than what I hoped for! Yay!
PS I just made your sugar free pizookie and even my health hating family loved it 🙂
Emilylovesraisins says
Oh yes, some ideas:
Banana nut pancakes
Tropical (coconut? pineapple?) waffles
Gingerbread oatmeal
Cake batter pancakes
And I love the idea of turning a savory dinner/lunch food into a sweet breakfast food, i.e. your pizzert! (A previous commenter mentioned banana lasagna!) Like fruit burgers, peanut butter spaghetti, or coconut chocolate paninis!
Hope my ideas aren’t too crazy 😉
Kinsey says
YESSS to cake batter pancakes..can the cake batter have sneaked veggies or white beans hidden? 😉
Kerry says
I’m so excited! Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day. I would love to see more baked oatmeal varieties, waffles, and also some savory options.
Judy says
I can’t get to your Healthy Breakfast recipes from my email or your site. I keep getting the FeedBurner page to sign up for your newsletter. I am already signed up for your newsletter.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
I am so sorry for the confusion. It was very poorly stated on my part, and I really wish I could go back and change it in the email.
Since you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. 🙂
Steph says
Instead of free breakfast recipes, can we have free breakfast? 😛
Sherry says
I love breakfast. I love breakfast for dinner, too. So I am completely on board with this! 😀
I think for me the tough thing is when I have a million and one things to do, so I don’t have a lot of time to cook. I just want to dive in and get going. So I’m always looking for something fast, something grab-and-go, but something that has healthy substance. A bowl of cereal gets boring, a piece of fruit doesn’t sustain, so anything you’ve got that’s enticing and relatively quick would be awesome.
Separately, my favorite breakfast treat is French toast. I’m ridiculously predictable when I go out to brunch with friends — unless I’m in a savory mood and get eggs, I pretty much always get French toast. It’s like I have to try it at every restaurant and see whose is best. LOL. So if you’ve got a healthy yummy version of that, lay it on me! 😉
Thanks for such a fun and informative blog.
M Kay says
Hi Katie!
My family has a bunch of food intolerances which make finding good breakfast recipes difficult. If at all possible would you try to make something without oats, soy, chia, that can be made gluten free?
Emily J. says
I am SUPER excited! Love this idea, Katie. Thank you!
Kinzie says
i’m on a 3 day detox, and can’t WAIT to start into these come Monday.
I even had Santa bring me a sweet Cuisinart food processor, because I only had a Vita-Mix and kept having to skip so many of your recipes! haha. 🙂
Nancy A. says
I can’t get the breakfast recipes!Every time I click on that place it says to click here, it wants me to sign up for your newsletter, which I am signed up! How can I get these recipes?
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Hi Nancy,
I am so sorry for the confusion. It was very poorly stated on my part, and I really wish I could go back and change it in the email. If you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. 🙂
Nikki says
Umm… The top left picture in that collage is killing me!! Is that “the best oatmeal of your life” because so long as it IS oatmeal in the picture, it is one of the best pictures of oatmeal of my life!! YUM!
Tara says
Ohemgeee… ditto to that!! It looks sooo good!
lmason says
Im having issues as well. I click the link and then it asked me to sign up. I sign up and it says Im and already signed up. Cant get to the recipes. Sad.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
I am so sorry for the confusion. It was very poorly stated on my part, and I really wish I could go back and change it in the email. Since you are signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. 🙂
Claire Elizabeth says
Hi Katie! I am wondering if you have a dehydrator, and if so, would you make any dehydrator recipes? My mom wants to get one, but I have no clue what we’d make lol! Thanks! 🙂
Chocolate Covered Katie says
I don’t have one, unfortunately.
Claire Elizabeth says
Oh well, that’s okay! Thanks for getting back to me! God bless you! 🙂
Olivia@ OmNom Love says
I’m super excited for this month! I’d like to see some gluten-free popover muffins, smoothie recipes, and breakfast casseroles, if at all possible. 🙂
Olivia@ OmNom Love says
And some breakfast cookies or bars would be nice!
Jacqueline says

Carrot Cake pancakes with “cream cheese” frosting !
Red Velvet pancakes or muffins or both !
Granola recipes
Hannah Lorenz says
Hi Katie, I love your recipes and your passion for life and yummy, healthy food, it is truly inspiring! So I was wondering if you are up to the challenge, if not I completely understand, but could you do more Paleo recipes that are coconut and banana and sugar and honey and maple syrup and agave and corn syrup free, cause I am intolerant to them (though I can consume them on occasion just not all the time) (The other challenge is that I am allergic to gluten and dairy – though I think you are a dairy avoider anyways????). At any rate, your stuff is incredible and inspiring!
patton says
Are you serious? If you have cut all that out of your diet, you should probably develop your own recipes.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Yes, all recipes are already dairy free as long as you use a non-dairy milk like almond milk :). I’ll definitely try and get more paleo recipes up as well, as I know a lot of people like them.
kinsey says
I would love to see some french toasts recipes (SOY-FREE!) that sneaks veggies (besides pumpkin ;)) in or is made without bread?! I’m always up for some new vegan pancake creations as well that are healthy (like brownie pancakes made with black beans?? or another “dessert” pancake made with white beans!). Regardless of my suggestions, I can’t wait to see what you post!
Mary says
My husband has been asking for coffee cake muffins, complete with struessal (?) topping. I’d love that too.
Heather @ The Soulful Spoon says
I’m THRILLED to see this feature on your blog Katie! Breakfast is definitely the meal I look forward to the most, even though I basically eat a variation of the same oatmeal everyday- I cherish it so much! Obviously, I love your website due to your oat love for inspiration! I can’t wait to see what kinds of yummy eats you come up with this month! Thanks for putting all these in handy Pinterest boards for all of us to see!:) You’re one of my favorite pinners!
My Pinterest URL is http://www.pinterest.com/hmcclees
Happy New Year!:)
catta92 says
Yay! I’m so looking forward to it! Love your recipes!
Mary says
My husband has also asked for carrot muffins.
I third (fourth? fifth?) the request for savory item, especially oneSines with vegetables, (since we’re vegan and all.) Maybe some new smoothie ideas, especially with greens.
Michelle says
Hi Katie, I don’t think that you did it intentionally but the wording of this: “To see all of the healthy breakfast recipes (it’s completely free), simply click the following link: Get Free Healthy Breakfast Recipes Here” is confusing. It pretty clears sounds like all of the recipes can be viewed right now, which is why so many people are confused about it being a link to sign up for emails. Since I’m on the topic of writing style, I was wondering if you would consider changing the format of your recipes to something more traditional and user friendly. For example: including how many servings a recipe makes, prep time, cook time, etc. And also separating such info so it’s not all in one paragraph along with the instructions. Do you know what I mean? In my opinion it would even make the sight a bit more professional looking. Just a suggestion! Love the site already. Thanks.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
You are 100% right… It was very (very) poorly stated on my part, which I’m extremely sorry about. Unfortunately I can’t go back and change the email now, as it’s already sent out. So changing the wording at this point won’t help; anyone not already signed up won’t get the error message.
Casey says
this is great! I eat granola every day for breakfast, and it would be nice to have something new to try.
I’m not sure how much you get into nutritional facts with your recipes, but things high in protein would be good. but butters maybe?
Sherry says
Love your website and recipes!! Just another one for the suggestion box – maybe a “print” icon somewhere on the recipe. Otherwise, your posts and recipes are the best. I make a lot of them and they all turn out great!!
Jackie says
Hi Katie – I know you lived in Japan when you were young, and was wondering if you’ve experimented with traditional Japanese breakfasts. I’m usually an oatmeal, eggs, and toast kind of girl, but I’m interested in trying breakfasts typical in Japan and other Asian countries!
Chocolate Covered Katie says
I haven’t, but I can definitely look into it! The only Japanese breakfast I can think of off the top of my head is congee, but I’m sure if I google it, things will come back to me :).
Bianca says
I quite literally thought I was dreaming when I saw this post in my mailbox, because I looove your breakfast recipes! I like the look of the chocolate mini muffins (they look like cupcakes!) and the chocolate cake with sliced bananas on top. (It’s no coincidence that they both have chocolate.) Suggestions: the sweet and salty combo! I have been obsessed with it lately. Sweet and salty quick breads, granola bars, pancakes… 🙂
Serena says
Do you think you could make vegan chocolate and strawberry marble pancakes?
Kathy says
Looking forward to some new breakfast ideas! i can get in a rut sometimes!
Shannon says
Healthy breakfast month, whooo-hoo! Not a day goes by that I don’t start it with one or your pancake recipes or a big bowl of voluminous oats.
bethy says
Yay! So excited!! I cant wait to get more breakfast ideas!
Chloe says
Katie: exciting! Do you think you could also include at least one sugar- and sugar-substitute-free breakfast idea?
Can’t wait! Cheers.
Liz says
I *just* bough I giant thing to oats today – yay sale items. I am looking forward to some creative oat recipes! I only have one question…I don’t usually subscribe to blogs because it is too distracting at work…will you be posting the recipes here as normal or do I have to give my email in order to get the recipes?
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Sorry for the confusion. It was poorly stated on my part… If you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. No need to do anything further :).
Helen says
When I try to open the link to the breakfast recipes I get an invitation to subscribe–which I’ve been doing for a while now. I completed the form the first time and received a notice that I’m already a subscriber. How can I view the recipes?
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Hi Helen,
I am so sorry for the confusion. It was very poorly stated on my part, and I really wish I could go back and change it in the email. If you’re signed up for emails already then you will get the recipes as they’re posted. No need to do anything further. 🙂
Angela says
I’ve been following you for a while and I love your blog. I love breakfast muffins! I can get my family to eat some a healthy breakfast using muffins. 🙂
Angela says
SCONES!
Jennifer says
What about cookie dough or cake flavoured waffles? Those would be amazing!
Abigail says
This month of breakfast recipes is an awesome idea, Katie! Hmm, as far as ideas for recipes go, peach muffins, cinnamon-sugar pancakes, and baked almond and strawberry muffins sound really good to me! :DD I’m SOO excited for this month! I can’t wait to see what more awesome recipes you come up with!
Megan says
Yay, yay, yay! Love your January theme!
Some different suggestions would be a chia pudding with a NICE texture and a breakfast cookie that is nutritious but nut free. (Toddler is allergic to tree nuts). Happy New Year to you, I love to check in in your blog regularly and will be around even more as breakie is my favourite meal of the day! Best wishes for a Healthy, happy and deliciously successful 2014.

Andrea says
I’d love some more versions of breakfast quinoa 🙂 I am in love with breakfast, its my fav meal, so this made me happy! 😀
Katie Carlson says
I would love to see some breakfast recipies with some sneaky nutritional boost added to it, like spinach that you don’t realize is there. I’m trying to sneak in extra greens into my family’s diet. Not sure what it is about winter time, but they are just not inclined to eat anything but protein and starch. We are vegans too and love your blog!

It wasn’t til after I posted my comment that I bothered to read all the ones prior to mine. So sorry to bring up something that’s already been answered. Tee hee. I’ll blame the lack of coffee lol.

No problem at all! It was completely my fault.

More creative oatmeal flavors! Keep them coming! Cinnamon roll oatmeal (not boatmeal), banana creme brulee oatmeal, caramel brownie oatmeal, funfetti birthday cake oatmeal, and lemon poppyseed oatmeal are just a few ideas!
Debbie says
When I try and click on the recipes the web site asks me to sign up on the email list again. I don’t want two emails every time so how do I see the recipes without signing up again?
Debbie says
Btw, I read the comments and didn’t see a solution. I still can’t view the recipes.
Chocolate Covered Katie says
If you are already signed up and receive regular emails, you don’t have to do anything at all :).

Sara says
Looking forward to reading your breakfast recipes:).
My favorite mealtime is brunch when anything is possible!:)
Am says
Very cool!!
I need a good amount of protein with my breakfast, so I tend to either have eggs or Greek yogurt. Maybe a breakfast with tofu would be cool! By the way, I love the tofu brownies and frosting 🙂
Lisa @bitesforbabies says
These all look amazing…I love the idea of the breakfast pizza!!! I LOVE cooking for my kids and make most of their food (including snacks, cereal, etc) but I seriously lack in the ‘visual appeal’ (I just throw the food in a bowl or plate, lol!). This is something even I can do…not to artsy-fartsy, lol! 😉
Tammela says
I am pumped for this!
Lauren says
Love the healthy breakfast idea Katie. Excited for your new adventures and blog posts.
Best wishes!

This sounds sooo fun. I can’t wait! Can you try some homemade cereal recipes please?

Breakfast is my hardest meal to eat healthy. I get tired of pasty oatmeal or other “healthy recipes that are loaded with sugar! a lot of the time I just go without. maybe these will help!
Miranda Huffaker says
oh by the way, are the sunshine baked oatmeal hard or like cakey?
becauseHeloves! says
I would say it’s cakey, because that’s what most baked oatmeal recipes are like (:
Kathy says
I LOVE your sweet healthy blog! I am wondering if you could be sure to include breakfast recipes with no coconut oil; the American Heart Association does not consider it a healthy fat for those with cholesterol problems (I know there are conflicting views about coconut oil – some swear by it but I have to avoid it per doctor’s orders (which I hate because I love it!) Keep up the good work 🙂

Very excited for breakfast month! Can we have some high-protein recipes?
katie says
flourless cinnamon rolls?!

My friends mom used to make the most wonderful muffins!! They were called “pecan pie muffins” and really tasted exactly like pecan pie!! 🙂 I wouldn’t even care if they were super healthy!

Bobbi says
I would love some savory recipes! I used to eat eggs all the time before going vegan and I miss it. I’ve tried tofu scrambles but I’ve found that too much soy does some horrible things to my digestion. 🙁 So soy free if possible!
Emma says
I read the previous comments about the email/feedburner confusion and just want to say that one of the things I love about your blog is that the posts are all actually in the emails themselves, instead of only having part of the post emailed out so the subscriber has to click on a separate link to read the rest. PLEASE KEEP DOING THIS THE WAY YOU’RE DOING IT!!!! I can read the emails themselves but your site is blocked on the filters at work so I can’t access your recipes otherwise. Thank you!!!!
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Definitely will keep it this way. 🙂

I’d really like a recipe for healthy Swiss rolls:D I remember having those for breakfast all the time when I was little haha or more quick filling single serving ideas I could whip up in the mornings. Also (this isn’t quite a breakfast request though:p) I hope you could try remaking some traditional Chinese foods/desserts? Like pineapple buns, sweet soups etc. thanks so much (for reading my looooooong demanding request) I love your blog by the way!:)

Would love to see more bfast (and any) recipes using almond flour. My program’s diet avoids all wheat products so I haven’t tried spelt yet either. We also can’t have bananas which makes smoothies and other recipes tricky. Carb free breakfast casseroles would be great too…we can’t have dairy on the plan so cheeseless vegan versions are perfect!

I love this idea! Katie, have you ever heard of or used peanut flour? My grandma bought me some a while ago and I feel like I should use it soon, but it doesn’t seem like a common thing when I look it up! If you have… I’d love a recipe with it. 🙂
Chocolate Covered Katie says
Yes, I use it for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake and the Homemade Peanut Butter Chips :).

Thought you would be interested in a sugar substitute called -Just Like Sugar- made with vitamin C. They have it in bags to cook with, also brown sugar, and in small packets. You can read more about it on internet.

As a physician I’m always shocked to hear how many of my patients both young and old skip breakfast because they “don’t like it” or they “don’t have time.” I’m a firm believer it is important to eat and try to broaden their views of breakfast foods. I will definitely refer a lot of my patients to this blog to look at the healthy breakfast recipes!

Love love love the idea of breakfast month – it’s the meal of the day that I lack creativity the most. One gets sick of toast every morning!

Any healthy pancake and oatmeal recipes would be so good! Blueberry’s and cream oatmeal or a banana’s and cream oatmeal. 🙂

First, thank you for your website!! I recently made your breakfast oatmeal cupcakes and they were amazing! Finally something healthy that does not sit like a rock in your stomach. They freeze fabulously, making me look forward to breakfast when I get to the office ( which otherwise consisted of something from the cafe or nothing). Clearly I started sharing with the girls at work and we have decided to start a breakfast club! My day was today and the cupcakes went over so well, Each week we each take one day where we bring a healthy, portable and easy to ‘eat at your desk’ breakfast and share the recipe. Ability to make ahead is a plus. Just saw that January is about breakfast – what to make next! Thinking the raspberry vanilla cake?! We’re piloting this for a whole month, what would you suggest?!! We’re from Winnipeg and fruit is hard to come by/expensive but you so crave the healthy summer fruit when it’s -40C!

Hi, Katie,
I am already a subscriber to your wonderful blog. However, your site isn’t allowing me to download recipes today. It keeps sending me to a page to sign up for the blog via feedburner. When I do that, it tells me I’m already subscribed but yet, it still won’t let me access the healthy breakfast recipes. Can you help me with this?
Dominika says
