Here are over 30 reader favorite vegan chocolate recipes that both vegans and omnivores can enjoy!
When I first decided to become a vegetarian, it was at a time when most people (myself included) still considered veganism to be a crazy and extreme diet.
I remember my mother worriedly asking me if vegetarianism was a stepping stone to giving up eggs and dairy and going vegan.
And I remember emphatically assuring her, “Don’t worry, I could never go vegan; I wouldn’t be able to give up chocolate!”
Thankfully I was wrong and—as the following chocolate recipes prove—you absolutely CAN still eat chocolate on a vegan diet.
Hopefully you will love these recipes as much as I do, whether you’re vegan or not!

And if you’re having trouble locating chocolate vegan bars or chocolate chips, look in the natural section of many mainstream grocery stores, as they’ve come a long way and will often carry at least one or two options.
Whole Foods and health food stores will also usually have a good selection of course, as will online shops like iHerb, Vitacost, and Amazon. You can even find vegan chocolates at places like Walmart and Target!
